Just fine, small Publix. Subs seem to take forever, but I think that's true anywhere. No complaints though.

The Publix manager was organizing a shelf and displaying pride in his business. He greeted me and asked if I needed assistance. The BOGO deals are everywhere and the clearance tables behind the checkout aisles vary but sometimes you can find an item that you use. The bakery smelled magnificent and everything was stacked high and fresh for the morning. Even the free cookie samples were out. The sushi maker was not there since it was early morning but the sushi packs were available but not sure if they were made this morning - even though they looked great but a bit pricey. read more

WOW first Publix I encountered with a BAR!!! Very impressive. We were allowed to purchase a bottle & sit outside. They provided us with flutes to enjoy our bubbly. A place I would definitely visit again !!! read more

Here's a well-deserved shoutout to Angelina in the deli! We have known her for well over 5 years in our numerous stopovers to the deli. This specific Publix really makes the BEST Pub subs! Angelina made our Italian subs yesterday and WOW! She put some Brooklyn soul into it! She gave us many suggestions in making the Italian sub and she just brought it to a whole new form of legendary! Our bond was triggered years ago when my bestie put an uptight customer screaming in the deli into check. She loved us for that. Moral of the story? Treat people with love! read more

Horrible customer services. Went to get 2 items, .. express line (10 items or less) had the converter belt full with products. When I mentioned to the cashier that this is express line she had an attitude, told me to talk to the customer. There is a good reason why most of the stores have express lines, to make it convenient for customers with a few items. I asked to see the manager, he was paged but didn't show. Cashier name was Alexandra, she should go back to basic training, end learn the meaning of express line. Publix could program the cash register NOT to process more than 10 items in express line. This could solve this ongoing problem. read more

I almost always have such good experiences when I shop at Publix and this location was no exception. Fabulous people, clean store. One thing I commend this specific location for is the efficiency in the deli. I had the pleasure of getting Bonnie to make my subs for a few of us back home. She was so sweet and took her time making sure my subs were beautifully put together. She asked me if I wanted my tomatoes chopped which is a small gesture but it truly just showed how much she cared. The efficiency doesn't stop with just Bonnie because the other two gentlemen working behind the counter came to assist Bonnie to make sure lines didn't get long. There were 3 people making subs at once! I've been to Publix's where one person is assisting an entire line of people for subs only while the others waited around for someone to maybe want something from the hot case or deli meats... the line never grew more than one person behind me waiting. This was excellent service and great judgement. I really like this Publix! read more

They are out of a lot of stock all the time. I do understand the shortages of different things but it's not like this at other locations. The parking lot is very dirty because people litter, I don't know if it's a culture thing or what but it is a very south American affiliated location. I find that shopping at different locations is way better I only go here because unfortunately I do live near it so in a pinch it is a good location for me. The employees are always amazing that is the one positive to this Publix. There is a lot of panhandling that does happen around that location and the parking lot floods often when there is heavy rain. The produce is also pretty poor in a selection aspect. Overall it's just a normal Publix but I think because of the area they do not get any special treatment like other Publix's in the South Florida area.. read more

This review is just based on the deli this evening. I believe the woman's name was Jeanine or something. She was extremely rude and condescending I could not even believe I was still in a Publix store. It felt more like a Walmart this evening. She obviously was ready to go home or something so I guess I got the brunt of it. I shop at this store all the time, but tonight was by far my worst experience. If I have to start shopping on Lyons and Hillsboro or glades and 441, I'll just drive the extra mileage for a location that will treat me like a customer and not a nuisance. I love shopping at Publix. Customer service is top notch here. Kids get free cookies while shopping. Deli samples out different meats all the time so you can try something new without buying it first and finding out you don't like it. I could go on about their amazing policy and friendly and helpful staff, but I'm sure most southerners know the Publix way. Prices are standard. The times u get the best deals are during buy one get one free. I recommend Publix shopping to anyone. It truly is where shopping is a pleasure. read more

It's Publix. They have the the market locked up. Publix does not let other stores open up in the area. If another supermarket closes Publix moves right in. The only problem is that they have it locked up. It's a nice chain and the customer service is great. In the rain they give you an umbrella. We can't live without food. It's a good store. I recently started using the pharmacy. The service is much better than Walgreens and CVS. DROP OFF THE SCRIPT and go food shopping. Every little bit helps. read more

Moat of the staff are nice and a few go above and beyond. About 20% of the staff are rude. Deli sophia is welcoming and friendly, stephanie always helpful, younger blonde woman is always working hard wears glasses. Bakery Sheldon always goes out of his way to help, young blonde woman same. Seafood...sorry that section smells bad fresh seafood shouldn't have that smell. Customer service, there is 1 male in particular that goes above and beyond mid 30s brownish hair has tattoos on his arms. Cashiers Alex, Marie and Linda are always very nice. read more

No friendly service from Sandra in the deli. Attitude, threw my sandwich together like a mess, ask for my sandwich toasted, barely toasted it, seemed like she didn't care or didn't wanna be there. Mentioned something about the quality she answers with well you should've said something earlier, and followed up with some people like it like this. I was having a good day so just let it go. Then I get home and she put turkey instead of ham. Everyone at Publix is usually friendly, Sandra was the exception. Who would've thought making a sandwich is so difficult and stressful, must be really hard assembling meat and cheese uniformly, and god forbid I ask for Mayo after the toast, looked at me like I just ran over her dog. Poor Sandra. She looked like she was 1 request away from spiking my sandwich. read more

It's not like my review is going to sway anyone to go here. Publix pretty much has a monopoly when it comes to grocery stores. I enjoy this Publix more so than the one down the street on Clint Moore. It doesn't has that smug feeling and I happen to think their selection is much bigger too. Publix usually gets hit up twice a week by me and on the weekends they do have great BOGO specials. Be careful though, not everything here is cheaper. You could buy many of the same items at Target for much less. For example, Quaker Instant Oatmeal is $1 less at Target. Your average cereals are anywhere between $1-1.50 cheaper at Target. Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream is $5 at Publix and $3.45 at Target. Horizon Organic Milk is $4 at Publix and $3 at Target. Of course, I sometimes question the freshness of some Target items but keep that in mind before you buy all your groceries at Publix. Publix offers great customer service too. They don't question anything and if there is ever a problem they subscribe to the "customer is always right" theory. I happen to think their bakery is outstanding and do as good of job if not better than most bakeries. I'd take Publix over "We Take The Cake" or "Doris" any day. Their deli is also fantastic. Let's not sleep on those Publix subs or ready-made meals like their chicken tenders. Publix is an outstanding choice when you aren't in the mood to go to Whole Foods, Fresh Market or one of those hipster places. Besides you don't have to refinance your house to do your Sunday shopping here either. This Publix is a fine choice and when you consider what West Boca used to have (Winn Dixie or Albertsons) you'll appreciate this place even more. Just be cognizant of some of their prices. read more

It's your standard supermarket, bogos are good. They recently revamped their produce section, I am sure in reaction to the Fresh Market opening across the street. Nothing is better than Publix, however, if you were going to this Publix there is definitely something better. their store is outdated, and there's always an issue in the store, whether the manager is running out of the store chasing a shoplifter or there's fighting going on inside the store. The cashiers are not very friendly and nobody ever offers to take your bags out to your car. Today I asked one of the baggers who was pushing three carts back into the store if I could give her mine, she gave me a dirty look and kept walking! There are too many other Publix around to have to go to this one. Do your shopping elsewhere, it sucks. read more
