Even is always super friendly. Customer service handles things quickly. Aisles are wide. Customers are friendly for the most part. I enjoy shopping here for all of those reasons. It's never a pleasure to get a pubsub at this publix. After reading the negative reviews that date back to 2015, I must say nothing has changed. Sure there is an older crowd here and checkout is slow, but I've never had an issue with the cashiers. The shelves are well stocked and the bakery has decent items. My number one complaint here and why this place gets 1 Star is the deli. I've come here a number of times to try to get a pub sub and not only does every visit require me to wait 20 minutes before I'm addressed (there is never more than one person in front of me), but the employees at the deli just DGAF. I don't know where they got their piss poor attitude and absolutely zero motivation, but I'm done trying to get a sub here. The last visit to the deli was the most egregious. The sub I wanted, the lady had never heard of. She had to come out and around where I was to show her the lemon sage turkey I was talking about. Before that, she was also more concerned with getting her break than making sure the customer was taken care of. Glad her coworker argued with her that she had to serve me while that coworker went on break since none of the other 3 coworkers around her were stepping forward to fill her spot and help me. They were all too preoccupied to do other things that didn't look time sensitive. They also had a nice argument back and forth and as she went to slice the turkey, the other coworkers were talking about her behind her back. Looks super toxic to work the deli. In any case, I can go to firehouse up the street and get an equal or better sub for the same price and in less time. They also will show me far more appreciation for my business. On a side note, I also found that the super target around the corner has better/bigger salads for only $5 compared to $6/7, so my need to shop at Publix approaching nil. If you're craving a pubsub at this location, just don't. Besides losing 20-30 minutes, you're going to get a family-size side of attitude. read more

I'm speaking specifically about the deli at this store (Fountains of Boynton). Recently I bought the chicken croquettes. They had no filling in them! Also, they rarely have any fried chicken and ready made sub sandwiches in stock. I realize they may be short on staff but the quality of this item (pictured below) is completely unacceptable! read more

I am so upset at Publix...all of them not just this one. I had been looking for a certain kind of mop that I know Publix sells. I couldn't find it so I bought a different one Just so I would have "something". I Drive down the road to another Publix... I find the one I want. I buy it. I go out to my car to get the one I had just bought 20 minutes before. They refused to return it saying it's their store policy now due to the pandemic that they are not allowing any Returns or exchanges. I said but I just bought this mob 20 minutes before. 20 minutes! I ordered a birthday cake yesterday and was called this morning at 8 let me know that it was discontinued. I have to be someplace with the cake at 9, I'm here at 9:05 after them telling me it would be finished by 9, and it's still not ready. Very frustrating. Why didn't the girl who took the order yesterday know it was discontinued? And I saw the same cake in a book at the other Publix down the street, so obviously there is no communication. I have had to use the Publix pharmacy multiple times for my others prescriptions. Wish I could take hers elsewhere. Have had scripts called in for her and each time I go in to pick up I am told, "oh we just got that" when I know it was sent in an hour earlier and then have to wait another hour! They are always busy talking among themselves it Seems instead of working more diligently. So tired of the work ethic I see everywhere. Publix used to be good about customer care now they're just like everyone else except higher prices. I'm all about customer service. If they handled things better I could forgive a lot. Publix subs are always the best and Yoube from the deli made my favorite sub very good. He didn't skimp on any toppings, meat or cheese. He cleaned the area and knife before even starting to make the sub which was very pleasing to see. Delicious sub and good food preparation! read more

Publix is a clean friendly and we'll stocked supermarket.I could not believe someone actually wanted to help me take packages to my car.They have a great sandwich shop with excellent reasonably priced sandwiches.The downside here is Publix is rather expensive but this can be alleviated by closely monitoring and using the weekly circular which shows all the items on sale.Another small help is the website which had electronic coupons. Publix is a very nice supermarket and is my favorite place to shop. read more

There are nice people working there, but other nearby Publix stores are newer, brighter, and have better selection in all categories. This Publix is in an run-down strip mall. When I complain to the store manager about the litter in the parking lot, he says it's the property management's responsibility. Totally passive response. I've bought several out of date products from them lately. Produce is often inedible. When I took an eggplant that was rotten inside back, the manager said "We just sell it." No responsibility assumed. A can of soup was two months expired. My wife saw that a can of artichoke hearts had a bulge in it. She explained to an employee that that could mean that bacteria were at work in the product. He agreed, grabbed another can, and put the bulging can back on the shelf. Huh? They have an employee barely five feet tall stocking cold cuts, bacon etc. She uses a ladder but also steps on the edge of the cooler to balance herself. Been doing it for years. You're getting the grunge from her soles when you put that stuff into your shopping cart. 25% of the contents of boxes of products that are breakable - potato chips, crackers, etc., are crumbs. Again, management doesn't respond. If you're a fish lover, the selection here is very limited, and often not fresh-looking. Ugh! Look elsewhere. Another Publix. Target. read more

Publix, I would brave the 80+ crowd any day to walk thy hallowed aisles. I don't think it's possible to find a sub sandwich better than Publix's. And believe me, I've looked. Their bread is quite simply the perfect compliment to their fresh meats, cheeses and toppings. I always get The Ultimate (roast beef, ham and turkey), because I really like the idea of eating 3 delicious animals in one meal. The beautiful thing is that the subs are just scratching the surface... their bakery makes awesome cakes and bread, the deli serves up incredible southern-style chicken tenders in addition to a fine selection of Boar's Head meats, and you can grab some pretty decent sushi-to-go near the seafood aisle. Publix may not have the lowest prices out there, but what you do get is a squeaky-clean supermarket that is well-stocked with courteous employees and a great selection of groceries. Unfortunately this publix struggles specifically in the deli. There is never any fried chicken during prime hours, the sandwhich makers are extremely inadequate to say the least. Someone in my party chipped a filling from overly toasted bread. Checkout lines are usually slow moving but I blame that on the old people mostly. I was in this store tonight and went to the deli.... I pulled number 25 the deli was on 16. When I walked up 2 people walked away, they were annoyed. I asked the only man standing there if he was waited on, he said I have been waiting to get waited on. So I said to the 2 ladies back there, is anyone working back here, one just stared at me like i had 12 heads and didn't say a word, the other one said "I don't know" and she said it rudely. I said well I will go ask your manager if anyone is working. Got the manager told her the story and she walked to deli with me and a customer approached her on our way and she stopped and started helping someone else. So over it. pretty sure those were her buddies back there because the manager and one of the ladies were whispering and smiling. like grow up and run the damn store like a publix!! read more

pubix at boynton and jog customer service is really poor. they had marrow bones all the time then all of a sudden stopped carrying them but refuse to tell me why or about getting more. they just completely got nasty about it. goes with reputation of the store. read more
