    lactosefree reduced milk
    Robert S.

I wanted to get some lactose free milk and I stopped here to check out the prices....they want over $4 for a carton of milk, the butter was also a bit expensive....I decided not get it and I am happy I didn't, because down the road at the Hacienda grocery store, the Almond milk was only $2.50. Publix is a nice store to shop, the shopping experience and the customer service is usually very good, but as consumers, we ought to know our prices (and unit prices) to decide on the best deal for your wallet. Wait for the weekly specials and many times, there are going to be really good deals !

Roaches!!!! In the meat and cheese counter!!! Omg!

This place is gross! Not to mention it's never on par with the rest of the Publix's in the area. Managers always standing around in their cell phones. My latest experience is captured in today's photo. If you see one! There are hundreds crawling around in that case. Trust that! Gross! I'm not sure why corporate always this store to run this way. Always issues at this place.

Best place by far to purchase over ripened and rotten avocados and tomatoes. At least half of the price you pay goes towards waste.

Average quality, high prices. Their old location was bomb and this one is a dud…read more In my humble opinion, the pompano store rocked. 80% of their items were fair priced and 20% were great bargains! They always encouraged me to come back, and I did. Quality is OK day-of. Most of it needs to be eaten quickly. For instance their watermelon or mangoes wont be good after a week. That's fine but $5.99/small melon or $1/mango are almost as bad as publix. Not quite but almost. Where's the deals? If its expensive, Where's the high quality? I respect their game and wish them luck but sadly its a closed chapter for me. Its not that im not going to return out of spite, but I wont be returning simply because there's no point to. Theres no deals or anything amazing anymore. Best of luck

More like a 2.5 today. It's sad because I really liked shopping here…read more I don't know what happened to the store. They used to have beautiful fresh fruits and vegetables, a nice freezer section. I even bought a tomato tree here once. I don't come often since it's not close, but every once in a while when I'm going to Costco, I'll just drive down a little bit further and stop in and pick up some things. I was so disappointed today. They've gotten rid of 99% of freezer section and they have the old cases for sale, so that's the end of that. Today they had long tables of garbage thrown on top and I'm not quite sure what it was, but people were digging through like it was some flea market garage sale. The entire store has changed and in my opinion not for the better. I was able to pick up a couple of avocados at 3 for a $1, a bag of potatoes so I can make mashed potatoes for Thanksgiving, some tomatoes, and that's about it. I did notice that they had a table full of hot pickle tomatoes that expired 9/20/2025 so that did it for me. I don't understand why you would put out food no matter what price it is, after the expiration date. The other thing that bothered me was the 4% fee for credit card. I know as a fact, if you have the right credit card processing you pay 1.9%. They also had a tip jar at the check out...for what... so the salaried employee can slide your purchases across a scanner and you can put the items in the bags you bring. No one packs your bags here and they don't even have plastic or paper bags. With all the fees, the prices aren't any less than TJs or Aldi. I know now, I don't ever have to drive down here again.

The stock was depleted but I was helped by the Preston in the Fish/Meat department. Stock was replenished within 5 minutes and I was able to pick the cuts that I wanted. He even gave me a bag of ice to keep everything fresh for my travel home. 10/10 Customer Service, 10/10 deals!

Winn-Dixie near my house closed down several months ago so I figured if it was worth it I'd go once…read moreevery month or 6 weeks to the one out of my way. So I Got a few of the ribeye that were on sale to take to a friend's house to barbecue. threw them on the grill medium rare- they look beautiful but you couldn't chew them, they were tough as leather- I was shocked and embarrassed. they had a bunch of shrimp as well so we just fed it to the dogs. I called the store a few days later and talked to Jessica the store manager and explain what happened. she seemed to understand and said she would be happy to give me a credit back by looking at my purchase on the app if I didn't have my receipt. even offered to show me the different types of quality meats that they did carry. I explained I was a half an hour away and getting ready to go out of town for a few weeks she said no problem when you get back just come to the store if I'm not there talk to the manager up front and will take care of you. she was very nice and apologize. today I called she was not working but the lady up front was very friendly and told me no problem to come on up. I drove over spoke to her initially got a few things and went to check out. at that point a manager named Nestor came to talk to me about this return. He started questioning me. asking me to show him in my phone log where I called the store. now it had been several weeks cuz I've been out of town and I have hundreds of phone calls and I thought that was ridiculous. Almost accusing me of trying to defraud him out of $20 of crap meat. I've never been approached like that by anybody in management at any grocery stores that I have visited in my 50 plus years of South Florida. it seemed to escalate as I explained to him I was disabled with a spine problem and I was tired of dealing with this. he seemed to shrug it off and continued harassing me. At this point he offered to pay the $20 out of his own pocket and I clearly thought it was a red Winn-Dixie card he pulled out. he swiped the $20- again still arguing with me and I paid the difference and told him I would be contacting corporate as well as Jessica the store manager this week. as I walked out he said if I tell myself I'm not disabled it would go away something in that manner. which I thought was not only idiotic, but quite offensive for someone that has a disability. I do not understand how a person of this nature could be in charge of a store. I have worked my whole life in retail, corporate, and owned my own business. there is clearly something wrong with this so-called manager on a mental level. He seemed passive aggressive, controlling, condescending , accusatory, borderline abusive to me as a customer. with employees like this I can see why there are less than a handful of stores left that are open. You would never hear a Publix, fresh market even in Aldi's employee talking in that manner.I guess they're all types in this world. I will contact corporate and I know I won't be returning to the store ever again.
