This is an average Publix in a long line of Publix grocery stores. The store is clean and employees are fairly helpful. This Publix is a little smaller than some other stores, but the selection is decent. I wish this store had a larger fresh produce selection, but I realize many of the Publix stores cater to the huge population of condo owners in the area, who generally have less than twenty items in their cart. Sometimes, while waiting in line at a Publix, customers behind me can get a bit impatient since I usually shop for the week or longer. This means meals, treats for the dogs and cats, plus plenty of water and cokes for the thirsty guys who do home repairs and improvements on a regular basis. Twenty items or less, fine, a full cart, you've been warned. Going to a grocery store isn't the most fun thing to do, still, Publix stores manage to make the experience as pleasant as possible by offering variety and having well stocked shelves. Parking isn't the best at this store, but it's doable. One thing that comes to mind, are the good subs at Publix. You're getting fresh bread, quality deli meats, cheeses and fresh veggies for your sub. The employees will make the sub to your specific preferences and these subs are not only a great value, but a healthy alternative to a fried lunch. Produce not always fresh. Many times have purchased blackberries or raspberries, next day half of them are already moldy and have to be discarded. Bakery, sometimes issues. Recent 2-piece cheesecake purchase had lumps of cream cheese in just about every bite. Nice flavor variety of mini scones. However, they consistently have small pieces of parchment paper stuck to the bottom of the scones. I mentioned it more than once to the bakery manager and store manager. Disappointing to still find parchment paper baked on. Fresh made, personalized subs are very good. Check out staff always friendly. read more

Lately this Publix has disappointed me! Their stock on items that are advertised is low. They had Hint on sale and didn't even have the ones on sale on the shelf. I asked and the guy stocking just said I guess we're out! The 1st day if the sale?? Plus they haven't had their potatoe salad in the bigger containers for weeks not forcing you to buy the small ones that are more money for the amount. When I asked the lady behind the deli counter she just said if it's not out wr don't have it. They used to go above and beyond ut now the employees act like you're bothering them asking them a question. I wish we had another good grocery store to compete with them. Go for the key lime pie - best anywhere and guests love it. Deli service can be slow, so do the grab 'n go for lunch meat and cheeses. Pineapple is best fruit - very sweet, always. Miss the chicken cordon bleu's from fresh meat counter. Salmon on weekend is fresh and delish. Checkers go fast, but baggers slow up the process. Super clean store. OK so seriously, we all know about the pub sub! There's no way to get around commenting about that first . The thing I like the best when you walk up to the counter is that they will actually listen to how you want your sub assembled . I for one , choose my bread and what meat I'm going to want first, but I always ask them to please put the mayonnaise on the bread first, then the lettuce so it sticks to the mayonnaise and doesn't fall off the sandwich, then I will go in an ad my meat, cheese, and other toppings. They are always more than happy to accommodate so I have to say the service is great . The store is always clean , I really like that they wear gloves when they're making my food, I see them consistently wiping down all surfaces. I can't wait to get out of the store to eat my pub sub ! But as usual , we have other shopping to do so I quickly run through the store and pick up anything else that I'm going to need. To be honest I just wanna rush and eat that damn pub sub. I generally go to the self check out just because it's so quick and easy . There's always an employee standing by in case something doesn't ring up appropriately or you happen to have a bottle of wine .. wink wink wink... And don't forget to hit up their weekly Bogo sale, they restock every Thursday for that sale! Yes I realize I probably should not have told you that , because I don't want there to be less for me to choose from when I go, but to be honest they restock so quickly it's not really a problem. read more

The labor market is tight right now, so I must assume this Publix location (Pebblebrook)has found the secret sauce for people. Ample staff, who are all incredibly friendly, helpful and engaging with customers. In many stores, you find employees huddled in private conversations, or discussing openly how tired they are, pondering time of next break or when shift ends. Not here! Even staff in the parking lot retrieving buggies say hello. Unheard of! As for the store - selection is great with plenty of organic options, shelves are well stocked and tidy, cleanliness is top notch, weekly specials are excellent. Seafood counter manager recognizes me after one order and calls me by name. What more an I say? Negative reviews are old and seem irrelevant to me. read more

This Publix has the worst deli in the world. They are the rudest bunch of ingrates ever. Every single time I visit the deli with out fail, they don't ever say I'll be right with you or even acknowledge you in any way when there is no wait. Today there were two working the deli meat counter. I stood there two whole minutes while they did other non customer tasks. Never did they acknowledge me. The numbers on the sign were off from the number I pulled. Finally the clerk in a begrudgingly tone asked me what I wanted. I told her. She starts to cut the order and brings me a sample. I ask would you mind cutting it thin not shaved. She rolled her freaking eyes and if her body language could speak it was F U. I said never mind and walked away cursing. This problem has been going on for two years. The deli manager is the root to this problem. He is a poor leader, never corrects their behavior, and quite frankly not sure what he does except fill meat cases. A week ago I went to get a rotisserie chicken to make soup. No chickens ready. They say come Back in half hour. I come back no chickens. Again mismanaged hell hole with bad attitude and crap service. Go to another Publix location. read more

I always love publix, but this one is especially nice. The store is kept very clean, organized, and always well stocked. Their deli has a great selection... Much better than Winn Dixie. There are just more, tastier options than there are at most other super markets. Great fruit and vegetable section. Everything seems clean and mostly always fresh. I'm always very pleased with the way the produce feels and I don't feel like I'm picking through rotten apples. The staff has always been friendly to me. I haven't had a bad experience yet. Meat department was great butch found perfect cut and size for hubby. I could not locate an item the manger I persume by the way he was dressed walked me to the item I was looking for not just directing me in the direction. Check out was quick. Their stores are always clean and their shelves are always stocked. We get that Publix is great but THIS Publix is simply the best one! I do my weekly shopping here and I can tell you countless stories about their amazing staff members. They are always so polite and helpful. Today I had a lot of groceries to get and I had my kids with me, as i checked out I had not one, but THREE staff members ask me if I needed any help. Their staff is always available Their customer service is TOP NOTCH! I love seeing how they always help customers and their co-workers! 5 stars for the way they treat their employees, I like the interaction always ask if you need help Store is very clean very organized. Their fish and meat selection is very very good and their Subway sandwiches are the best. But saying all of that three stars overall because of their higher prices unless you get the bogo. Food item selections are limited and my biggest complaint is product expiration dates. You really have to watch for this as they place them in the front. Now I know other stores do this but these expiration dates are the same day you buy or the next day and if it's a dairy product you really don't want that. My other complaints are the canned foods that always seem to be damaged and they always move these to the front also. I'm used to stores placing these dented cans on a shelf that says dented products and selling them that way. read more

This is the worst Publix location. I went to pick up a sub 10 minutes after it was supposed to be ready. I waited another 5 minutes to the person to acknowledge me, then I was told they did not start making my sub because they didn't have any chicken tenders. I went out of my way to get a sub from this location. I should have at least received a call from them so I didn't have to go over there for no reason. This is our favorite Publix in the area. Store is always very clean, and their staff go out of their way to help you. Ask them where the peanut butter is and they will walk you to the aisle and to the shelf. If someone is free in the cash register area they will rush over and unload your cart for you. The butchers do a phenomenal job of helping you and guiding you. The deli is one of the fastest in the grocery chain. We switched all of our business to this location because the other locations can't compare. read more

Pretty good selection for all of the usual groceries. But holy cow it is expensive to shop there. I almost expect to see someone at the entrance running a credit check before they let you go inside to shop. Lucky for them you don't have much in the way of alternate options. They have an organic section where they put the stuff that you can't find in the regular part of the store. I am so disappointed with the meat department at this Publix. Trying to order a special ham for Easter. First talked to Jordan the aast. Meat manager. Was told it would take a few days to find out if we could get this ham. After waiting a week i talked with him again only to be told the distributor did not get back to him. He said he would call me a 1:00. No call! Called him many more times only to hear excuses. Then I spoke to the manager of the meat department and he said he would find out in 10 minutes and would call me. Of course no phone call. It has been weeks now and no answer. I retired from Wegmans managment and I know how the system works. These managers need a class on customer service and remember you have a job because we shop there. This week i went to a competitor of Publix and have already got my ham. Shame on your meat department for such awful customer service from the managers.
