Definitely one of my main Publix locations over the last three years. It's directly on my route home from work so I can't even fathom how many times I've stopped in. I'm primarily a BOGO shopper here sprinkled with some deli trips. But if I know I'm going to the deli, I usually go to the location closer to Northlake. I find it had more traffic at that location so deli items moved more frequently. For this store, I've never had any complaints, store was always stocked for my needs and never a long wait at checkout. read more

Publix used to be super awesomeand affordable but now that the rich controls everything, Publix has forgot about the less fortunate people that can't afford $1.80 for a gallon of water and the water dispenser are regular tap water, and a $18.99 ounce Steak. I figured this would be a great Publix due to its location, but I will never come back to this location. First, I went to the deli for a very specific specialty sandwich & Marie had no idea what went on it. I understand that the customer can modify sandwiches, but I'm used to being asked if I want the regular items & then ask if I want anything else. The nice young woman who ended up handing me my sandwich should get 4 stars because she's the only one who smiled & acted as if she wanted to be there. The cashier was as pleasant as Marie. She also seemed like she hated her life. I grew up in S. Florida. My brother was a cart boy back in the 80s. Publix has always been known for being a little more expensive, but you pay for the quality of food & the customer service. This location needs headquarters to come down & do some training!! read more

The manager Victoria made my sandwich so terrible she literally dumbed a puddle of sauce on my tenders didn't even have the decency to toss it it's like she didn't even want to serve me and I hate that feeling that a person with authority like that feel some type of discomfort serving me lunch I came back and Debbie did a perfect job remaking my food but never again I dont ever want to feel that way again read more

First off to point your finger at a customer is rude. Her delivery was bad. Second of all the sign was taped onto the door that was slid open so you couldn't see the sign. Crowded, crowded, crowded. And they do nothing to try to maintain distance between shoppers during this time of coronavirus. Also the shelves are almost empty any time you go, and last time we were there they were not wiping the carts or had wipes. It is pathetic how little Publix cares about their customers. I bought the wrong orange juice if you know Natalie's orange juice they sell tangerine orange juice and they look almost the same if you're not reading it then you're gonna pick the wrong one anyway I want to return it to exchange it the Indian lady had like a problem from the gecko when I was waiting in line I could see how upset she was she looked tired like she didn't want to be at Publix so when it was my turn in line she asked me what I was doing with the orange juice I told her I wanted to exchange it up before I even said anything she told me to go back and get another one when she cut me off this lady is like thinking she owns the store I've been to other Publix is and when I return some thing they gave me the option of gift card putting the money back on my card or exchange it she didn't say that she just said go exchange it you got the right one honey read more

It's Publix, almost every item is overpriced and expensive. I go to Doris which is close by for meats (Publix meats are the worst) and Winn Dixie Military and Northlake and save way more money. Do yourself a favor, avoid Publix and go elsewhere. Publix, where shopping is a displeasure. read more

I moved here from Southern California over a year ago. What I've found is that Publix has a monopoly out here; similar to the monopoly HEB has in TX. Quite honestly, this is just wrong. In CA, the large population drives competition to keep prices reasonable; thus, many grocery store chains to choose from. But out here, businesses are taking advantage of people and charging higher than normal prices; in particular, the current CEO of Publix. Since he took over, he has intentionally driven prices up out of greed. Here is an example of price gouging: Fresh local and/or Georgia peaches in season are sold for $2.99/lb. Then sometimes during mid-season the price might drop to $2.49/lb. And if you're lucky, maybe $1.99/lb for maybe one week. This is awful. Prices of peaches sold in SoCal are $0.99/lb during peak summer months. Same for apples year round. In SoCal, I can buy "lunchbox" size Gala apples for $.099/lb. but at Publix they are over $2-something a lb. If you want the smaller size apple instead of the huge size, you have to buy a pre-packaged bag of them. I never buy them. Additionally, the selection of goods is limited in produce and sometimes in other areas. Also, the produce is not always the best (e.g. their bug-infested, brown-edged green-leaf lettuce). They never sell large yellow onions....just the teenie tiny ones (the regular onions and not the sweet onions). One of Publix' tricks to get people to buy more food, maybe more than they need, is that they package vegetables; i.e. they'll take 3 large zucchinis and bundle them in shrink wrap packaging. The work-around? Rip open the package and take what you need. The cashier will ring it up per weight. So for the ultimate solution to this disservice to the public by Publix, shop Walmart (their produce is better than Publix and less expensive), and also Trader Joe's (everything is high quality and very good prices....and their milk stays fresher longer than any other place). Now when I grocery shop, the only time I need to go to Publix is for one or two items that I can't get at the other two stores. I've already written to Kroger. They are the best grocers in the US, and I've lived in several states. Produce selection is large and fresh, and prices very reasonable. I've asked them to consider moving into the SoFlo area. We need to stop this unethical behavior of Publix. Take note, Publix. You think you've got the market sewn up, but guess again. There are alternatives! read more

On my 5 minute morning commute, if I can pop in to grab some lunch food before heading to work, that rates 5 stars in my book. I've been shopping at my local Publix for years, and only have great things to say about this location and the employees who always greet me with a smile. I've never had any issues with produce going bad or not finding exactly what I'm looking for on each visit. What's great about shopping at 7:15 am...easy parking, no crowds and no lines. If I have to stop in on the way home at 4:30, I'm in for a much longer wait. read more

This publix is great it has a wonderful Greenwise section. There's always plenty of staff and very helpful associates work there the only downfall of this location is the parking. It's easier to park on the right back side south side then it is to try to park in front. The meat department people are great the produce section is really good and I like the bakery and there's always fresh baked goods it's a good Publix and it is a place where shopping is a pleasure read more

This review is for the deli, specifically the chicken. This Publix apparently can't cook chicken. The tenders are unevenly, if not undercooked. Just compare the chicken that you receive from any other Publix to this chicken and you'll see. Employees also refuse to wear gloves when serving food. I saw an employee handling raw chicken (with gloves), rip the gloves off, not wash their hands, and then proceed to serve food without gloves. The corporate excuse is that Florida doesn't have any food safety laws as pertaining to wearing gloves when serving food. If Publix doesn't choose to care about their customers' safety by taking simple measures to educate their employees on food safety and to invest the $0.02 for a pair of gloves so food can be served safely, then they simply do not deserve my business. read more

Friendly, helpful staff, including management. Clean, well stocked, and a cheerful environment. Ample optoions for checkout aisles. Even the patrons ate friendly. Psrking lot is well patrolled for runaway grocery carts. I will make this my regular store. read more
