    Italian Pub Sub
    Michael D.

Two words...Pub Sub! I was in Orlando for a business trip for about a week, and while I've thoroughly enjoyed the local restaurants I was craving a nice fresh sandwich and wanted to get some snacks for my flight home. I decided to hit up Publix for their famous Pub Sub and pick up a few other items. I did not order ahead, but luckily for me there was a very short line at the deli. Once I got in line it quickly grew to at least 10 deep. This was around 5 PM on a Thursday evening. I ordered the Italian Pub Sub with multi-grain bread and was able to add all my favorite fresh veggies. They actually have four different sandwich stations so they can help several people at one time which makes that long line go faster if you find yourself at the back of the line. The sandwich team was super friendly and helpful, as was everyone I encountered throughout the store. The experience was great and this was one of the best subs I've ever had and a whole foot long was only $8.99. If you are not feeling like having a sandwich, they also have other dinner options like chicken tenders, chicken, ribs, wings, and even a Chinese area where you can build meals for one or for a family. I especially loved how they cut my sandwich in half and wrapped them each individually. If you haven't had a Pub Sub, you need to go to Publix ASAP...you won't be disappointed!

    Publix Ganache Cake

Publix has taken their greedy profits and shrank everything possible! I got the Ganache cake in October and now it's "on sale" yet it's smaller!!! Maybe take greed and make groceries more affordable and less profits ! Profits in the billions while people struggle to eat is a damn shame!

Do not shop here frequently as it is on the other side of town. We ordered 100+subs and salads per day (Thursday-Sunday). They handled the order with amazing ease and precision. It was not an easy task. The manager Chris provided amazing customer service and we will definitely be back for future trainings and special events for our department. Well done Publix.

This Publix has great variety but is right next to UCF; therefore, it's clogged with college students constantly.

I ended up having a little cheat day and enjoyed a delicious soft serve with fresh strawberries -- it was so good! The staff members were very friendly, especially the cashier who helped me at the register. Her smile felt so genuine, and it honestly made me want to come back again. I even decided to pick up some peanut butter while I was there. The store was very clean and well organized, which made shopping comfortable and enjoyable. I shop at other grocery stores too, but this place is definitely becoming one of my favorites. You can also bring your own reusable bags, which is a nice bonus. The parking lot can be a little difficult on weekends, but overall I highly recommend this place!

This trip, though, there was absolutely no Disney involved -- and we finally stopped here on our way home Sunday morning. I feel like you know you're getting older when you get excited about grocery shopping. Normally when I go to Publix, I'm irritated before I even get inside. But this place? A completely different experience. Walking through and seeing all the locally grown vegetables and the meat selection -- clearly labeled as hormone-free and without all the extra junk you get at typical grocery stores -- was honestly mind-blowing. The prices were so reasonable I couldn't believe it. I purposely brought a cooler for the two-hour drive home, and even with everything I bought, I didn't spend over $100. If I had purchased the same items at Publix, I'm convinced I would've been close to (or over) $200. Beyond the prices, the quality and overall vibe made it so enjoyable. You're not breaking the bank feeding your family, and you feel good knowing you're getting better-quality food. The staff was incredibly sweet and genuinely seemed to enjoy their jobs. I was looking for boneless chicken, and one of the employees asked if that's what I needed. A few minutes later, he came back with multiple packs in his hands to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and I really appreciated it. One thing to know: the produce and meat sections are in two separate, unconnected rooms, so you check out separately in each. And if you're still riding that high from all the money you saved, there's soft-serve ice cream outside with seating -- which just makes the experience even better. For someone who truly despises grocery shopping, this was actually fun. I will absolutely make a special trip to Orlando just to come back here -- and next time, I'm bringing a bigger cooler.

What really stood out was their meat and seafood options, which had assorted seasonings, looked fresh, and were well-displayed. I bought a nice cut of salmon for only $10.
