This Publix in Plantation Town Square was my last chance to find vibrant veggies for tonight's dinner of Cajun Shrimp and Sausage - YUM. Sadly, alot of the Publix stores leave their veggies and fruits a couple days too long on the shelves and they get dented and start browning and they only last a few days in my fridge. This was my first shopping expedition at this Publix. I found all the items for my dinner except the cajun seasoning was too high so had to shop at a different Publix for that only item. The veggies were colorfully vibrant and fresh specifically the big red peppers. In addition, the two salad bags were crisp without visible browning. A produce employee was so polite and directed me to the red peppers. I commended the produce manager, Michael, who was stocking foods, on the great condition of the produce. He said he frequently ditches the older veggies and fruits including the salad bags. Im gonna have to travel to this Publix for their produce in the near future. read more

Nice clean Publix in the Plantation Towne Square shopping center. Like all Publix stores, this one has a nice customer service area near the front, where you can get any help with exchanges or refunds...and also where you can get your lottery ticket, if you are into playing it... The aisles were very bright and clean and it was easy to find the items I was looking for. I love checking out their app and finding digital coupons or offers just for me that I can take advantage of. I got a few freebies on this trip...LOL... read more

Popped in with my Mom to pick up a few items & left elated ... just because of simple flower arrangements that put joy in my Mom's heart. TBH the flowers were truly beautiful! Haven't shopped at this location in years. But this store was closest to where I was this particular evening with time running out to use a loyalty reward. Parking lot lighting seemed dim, but front entrance and store interior were brightly lit. Clean, neatly stocked shelves and bins. Relatively customer empty store due to the late hour so easy shopping and navigating the aisles. Was pleased that more than one register was open to check out. Unfortunately, I didn't get the "where shopping is a pleasure" vibe from the cashier, but got a shoulder shrug and eye roll after I asked about the availability of the one item (ice) I specifically needed. Fortunately, there was a manager nearby, whom I asked and she promptly sent a stockperson to retrieve a bag for me. And best of all, it was the Publix brand not Ready ice that my usual shopping location has only been stocking lately. read more

Worst coffee creamer selection in all the Publix in south Florida. They have vanilla hazelnut and maybe one other bs flavor at a time. All others in the area have a better selection. My neighborhood Publix. I come here a few times a week fir the past 7 years and I practically know all of the employees. They have a fresh seafood department and their produce section is always organized. The deli section always seems to be a challenge but I've learned to live with it so bring your patience, you've been warned. The staff at the hot prepared food and deli sections are lazy, have attitudes, no regard for customer service and simply do not care about their jobs or upholding Publix's service and mission. Always expect long lines and absolutely NO sense of urgency at these sections, and to be met with lackadaisical effort. It's really unfortunate because this location wasn't always like this and the other departments are great! But I have since had to switch to other Publix locations due to the influx of poor staff and service in the above-mentioned sections of the store. They really are the worst and have deteriorated this location's reputation for customer service for sure. You're better off going to another location if you value your time, sanity, shopping experience and to want to avoid the hassle at Plantation Towne Plaza! read more

This review is specifically for the Winston Park store. Though smaller than other Publix Supermarkets, I can almost always find what I need when grocery shopping. The staff is super friendly and the bakery is one of the best, not just compared to other supermarkets, but compared to stand line bakeries. If you enjoy tiramisu, you must try one from here. As already mentioned, the staff is amazing. I jut remembered shopping for prepared fruit and the gentleman at the counter was singing along to the piped music. As I walked up, he invited me joint in dining with the biggest smile on his face. Lastly, I miss Pam at the checkout. read more

The people who work here are so mean. The customer service especially in the deli and sometimes the pharmacy is so rude.

This is one of my favorite publix to go to. Every time I walk in there is always someone greeting me and asking if I need help. There are some locations that aren't as nice. This location is always stocked and the staff always helps and goes above and beyond for they're customers. The ladies in the deli remembers the last cold cuts my boyfriend orders and the food workers in the seafood department gave us great recommendations for recipes for the fish we buy. I was shocked when we found tomahawk steaks and rack of lamb ribs for sale. They take all the precautions for their customers safety. Wiping all the carts and having one way aisles. I always order things online for Dely department and they never have them ready on time or literally you can wait for over an hour and they keep doing everything slowly. As a Philly transplant, I'm very snobbish when it comes to food options. Publix is a great Super Market. But what differentiated this visit from the other locations was the customer service. I wanted a Pork Roll, Egg, and Cheese jawn. I heard the rumor that Publix carries Pork Roll! I must've been bugging, because I couldn't find it. So I went to the customer service desk. I was greeted by Brenda, and she was so sweet! I work in hotel management, so I know a star when I see one! Brenda is a superstar! She showed me where to find my beloved Pork Roll, and did so with a smile and enthusiasm I have not seen south of the Delaware River! Anyway, I got my Pork Roll, and I'm happy. This must be one of the worst supermarkets in Florida. I like fresh bread in the morning. Especially in the weekends. The bakery is just plain horrible. If you are there at 8.30 (!) in the morning on a Saturday (actually EVERY day) don't expect fresh bread. No rolls, nothing. The shelf's are empty. What lazy bunch. The really don't give a damn. Nothing in this supermarket is ever new, it's always the same. Nothing changes. They don't ask if you want a plastic bag at the register. Like robots the put on item (already packed in plastic) in one bag another (also already packed) in another. I sent a complaint about this, you guess, no reaction. It's just a depressing place. This Publix is great. The online ordering actually is ready when you get there!! The deli staff is amazing and friendly! The couple times I did not order ahead of time, they actually acknowledge you and apologize for the wait, and...wait for it....they work quickly!!!That alone makes my heart happy!!! The nearby store on Sunrise and University has an absolutely TERRIBLE deli!! The staff are all very pleasant and helpful and the layout of the store is clean and bright. I love the little floral section as you enter. I have quite a few orchids at home because of the placement of that section!!! I can't avoid it. The parking lot is a bit of a mess, but I have a few spots that make it easy to get in and out and avoid the mess. I definitely am pleased that this store is the closest to my house. This publix is very busy, at times it can be hard to find a parking space. However, the publix is huge. It is one of the biggest I have been in, the produce section is the largest I have ever seen and is always stocked. There is always a line at the Sub counter I suggest ordering online before going to the store. The have a bakery, fresh fish, deli and meet counter, as well as a pharmacy. The aisles are spacious and there are always alot of cashiers to make checking out easy. read more

I put a pub sub order online cause I figured it'd be busy. Gave them 40mins to do it. Showed up and it wasn't done so I went up and told them I had an online order. Then the girl went over to look at the online order tickets and was surprised by the two feet long paper of orders they had been missing. Clearly they haven't looked at it and probably because they had a table in front of it. Hmmmm not the smartest. Very poor planning on their part. read more

Prices are higher than other grocery stores in the area the quality of the food is average at best. Really only get subs at the deli and it wouldn't hurt if they were able to speed up the ordering process. The wait time is unreal. Very disappointed. read more

This is the Publix that is closest to my house in Plantation so we end up having to go here way too often! The selection and staff are nice - They just did a remodel and the produce section is now HUGE! It's clean and well lit. My only complaint is that it's a little ghetto as there is no other Publix closer to the Fort Lauderdale bad neighborhoods, so unfortunately we get a lot of the riff raff. The store is clean but that is the extent of what makes the Publix bearable. Starting off, the parking lots is horribly designed and there are always people illegally parked in front of the store blocking traffic. Inside the store moving around is just as bad. The aisles are too small and you can barely maneuver the carts around. The register and the check out are just as terrible. They back up with 2 or 3 people in line, and prevent people from trying to shop. The cashiers are all old, rude, or slow. Usually a combination of the three. I try to avoid it at all costs. read more

Late on a sunday night I expected this place to be far more chaotic than it ended up being. Sub station staff and cashiers were highly efficient. A special shout out to the manager(I believe her name is Amber as she has helped me before) for jumping onto another register and opening another lane. The level of service at this location has completely gone downhill. My cashier, Brenda, is by far the worst cashier ever. I asked her 1 simple question and she acted as if I was aggravating her and replied in an aggressive manner. Customer Service is not the best career choice for her in my opinion. I will be placing a call to corporate to see if this is acceptable employee behavior. The store manager, Lisa B, basically overlooked this behavior. Worst Publix by far, the customer service is awful and the lines move so slowly. I've never seen employees move at a slower pace with so little customers in my entire life. I waited in line for a sub for 30 min when there were two women working and only two people in front of me, both with only one order. The women working just worked as slow as physically possible.
