Or myself, who stood beside someone named Chris who absolutely refused to move and was almost irritated that I was making several selections from the same area, and not fast enough, that he clearly wanted to unload a box into. Since he refused to move I ended up walking away without several items. Like how are you angry at people for grocery shopping when you work at a grocery? Anyways... I love TJ's items, always will, I guess the misery at this location will be something we just have to withstand when we're home on Siesta Key.

Parking lot is ok, not bad at all. The worse one to this date is still Tampa. Since Sarasota has a new Trader Joe's in UTC, I often go there, but this one is still a good one. UTC parking lot is the biggest being in a strip mall, but I think I think I like this one better.

Newer stores don't have the big scale :,( But this is a nice spot with some fun and flavorful offerings. Free cookie for kiddos. And cut up fruits and veggies as well as an assortment of to-go and already prepared meals. Sushi counter. The Detweiler's on Clark Ave. sets the highest standard for what a grocery store can be but this is a nice new Publix. :)

I haven't been in awhile but love the new layout of the store. Seems like it was needed to fit all the products and to make the aisles more easily accessible. The line for sandwiches was 5 people deep, lines at all the checkout counters as well. Bought fresh peaches, cucumbers, potatoes, and more. Rave: do NOT leave the store with one of the new blueberry handpies. This is probably the best handpie I've ever had. I popped it in the airfryer and it came out so flaky and gooey. Not insanely sweet either. Wish I bought more of them. Ate it too quickly to get a photo so I looked one up, it's wrapped in parchment paper and in a basket next to the donuts.

The tomatoes I get at Vince's are way better than what you often find at Publix. I'm also sick of giving chain stores $1 for one lemon, where here I can get 3 or 4 for the same price. Maybe it is a little smaller, and maybe it isn't perfect looking but man who cares when it is 1/3 off? It juices just fine and serves my needs. One thing I suggest, come here with no real plans of what you "need". Buy what looks good and make something interesting out of it. Be sure to get some tortillas to take home as well. When I first placed the order, bakery employee told me it was not a problem to have a small bag of buttercream icing on the side for me to add-on my own decorations once I receive the cake. When I called the morning of, no notes about icing on the side. Told me that I couldn't have it. I persisted and asked again, was on hold, finally got back to me and said they could do it but it was an extra $4 and that they'll NEVER do this again. First employee told me that it wouldn't be a problem and that they'll make sure it'll be on the side for me.... Regardless of that whole situation, my cake was able to be picked up early, I did buy a tiny bag of $4 buttercream to decorate my own cake, and the cake did taste delicious. I got brown butter cookie crunch frosting with vanilla cake and fresh strawberries on the inside with white buttercream on the outside. Everyone looooved the brown butter cookie crunch. Then made and placed the paper water decorations on myself.
