Took three different lines to check out due to slow incompetent cashiers. This is everytime. So besides the highest prices in town they have the slowest workers. We know the folks in the area are already past their prime but so are the cashiers and they somehow move slower than the customers. Only go if you like waiting in line. read more

This review has to do with Deli/Sub Shop. The team members are not trained well and are very slow. Unlike all Publix I've been in that the order taker does your whole sandwich they are having one person do the order and bread/meat and another do toppings. Very slow process. I had to request a change to sandwiches twice and they still got it wrong. I love my "pub subs" but this location needs help badly. read more

dont know why this has a bad rating. I came from naples where the publix were AWFUL. They always got orders wrong , you would order say it would be done at 6 and you get there at 630 still nothing. here EVERYTHING has been efficiant. All my orders have been completed and correct. I'm extremely disappointed with the Deli. I placed an order online for a sub sandwich to be ready at 7:40pm. I arrive and am watching people's orders for 7:45p and after being made but mine was not ready. After 10 minutes an employee inquired what I was waiting for. I told her about my online order. She checked on it and told me someone would be making it soon. It was 8:00p now and yes they are busy but I would have been better off just standing in line when I realized my sandwich wasn't ready. I was patient until I noticed one of the employees touching the meats and breads with his silver glove that was NOT covered with a plastic glove. I walked up to the counter where he was working to get a closer look and verify what I was seeing. He did not have the silver glove protected with a plastic glove touching food. I spoke with two managers. The first one got me a manager named Troy. Troy advised it was the second complaint today. What happened with the first complaint? There should have never been a second complaint! This shows me it wasn't taken seriously. This actually was not the first time I had witnessed this issue at this location. About a year ago I saw this same thing with the gloves and contacted the deli manager at the time. She assured me that they wear plastic gloves over the silver ones when handling food and I didn't see what I saw. I am grateful my order was not ready. I will never order ahead again (it wouldn't be ready anyway) and I will come in and watch my sandwich being made. So disappointed and disgusted Publix. Not cool! read more

This is about the deli only. This part of the store is so disappointing. Publix has rebuilt the interior of this store except the deli. Ok theirs a real wrestling Mach going on here. There is a undercurrent of hostility for the customer and the lack of management. I am unable to buy from this deli because of wait time. They are understaffed so the public is frustrated with staff that's there and the staff is hostile to customers because of the rudeness shown to them. The store manager was only 10 feet away from the deli this morning totally oblivious to that type of interaction. #182 We went to breakfast at the Sun City Bob Evans, much better than Brandon, and just for shits and giggles decided to shop here instead of our regular Publix. Aside from shopping at an unfamiliar store I would not come here again. Those seniors are crazy. Blocking aisles, just kinda standing around, drove me nuts and I'm 64. I ordered a gender reveal cake for my daughters party. Went to pick it up at 4pm and they couldn't find the cake or the order for the cake. I was picking the cake up on my way to the party! I had the receipt for the order. They did give me a cake and put pink and blue frosting on it and they were very sorry but it really but a damper on the event for my daughter. They also gave me a gift card. Someone in my development had the same experience. I would suggest better organization and training in the bakery. read more

**this review is based solely on the deli section** So to start with I love love love Publix's chicken tender subs however the past two (and the only times) that I have ordered them from this location they have been made terribly. Last nights sub dinner was what pushed me over the edge to make this review. The chicken tenders covered in honey mustard dressing was hardly pushed inside the sub and it was basically all falling out and apart every which way possible. So sloppily made with no love or effort. It was totally unenjoyable to eat. I will never eat another sub from here again. read more

My wife, and I went to the deli for sandwiches a few weeks back for our first time. We ate there. We were both impressed. Yesterday I decided to try the on line ordering for myself. I picked out everything I wanted on my sandwich. I placed the order at least an hour in advance. When I arrived my sandwich had not been made yet. When I inquired, I was told it would just be a couple minutes. As I was watching it be made. I had to tell her to remove the tomatoes that I did not ask for. When I got home to eat it I discovered hard, stale bread had been used. This is unacceptable. read more

I ordered a strawberry cake with strawberry filling and paid online. We picked up the cake and drove to Orlando for the birthday celebration. Once we cut into the cake we realized that this was a yellow cake with strawberry filling. This was beyond disappointing as the strawberry cake was supposed to be the highlight of our simply evening. I was already a bit upset with the way cashier Marzi asked me if I paid for my cake and when I told her yes she asked if I had a receipt then asked me to produce the receipt although the box says paid online and the instructions said just grab your cake and go. As always, Publix is amazing. The slightly higher prices are worth the fresher fruits, veggies and meats. The service is wonderful always.

Hands down the best grocery store. There is no other store in my opinion. The layout is a bit odd at this location. The fruit tends to stay on the selves a little longer as well. I assume this is due to the large community of retirees. Also , I believe for that same reason , they have a very wide variety of everything. There are more options than other Publix. Not a fan of this overpriced chain. One on every corner does not make it better. The best food I have had from there is the soup from deli. Chicken tenders are also not bad. I occasionally have to there for certain items and it makes me sad. read more

We go here once a week and today was the worst service we have had in the sandwich line. I've talked to the store manager on a separate occasion because of slow service. Line was long and no one came over to help make sandwiches, the ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER (the tall blonde) came over to delegate tasks but what she needed to do was help out with the hot table and sandwiches. I have been going to Publix for 20 years and this store for the last 5. The staff is extraordinary and one of the managers (Chad) is super responsive. However, the produce section is slipping. Many of the products are way past their prime. In example I just bought some potatoes and they were all "green". I found put this was not a good thing. They also have stopped carrying one of my wife's favorite vegetables and despite several requests they have not restocked it. It is available at Winn-Dixie. Other than this issue the store is always clean and while prices are a little higher than other sources it is just nicer the shop. read more

Good store. 4stars because is not over the top and not horrible it's in the middle. You go in get what you need and get out. Staff is alway smiles and happy plus the is store always clean. I would say compared to much busy publix like the one in Riverview on BigBen,the seafood could be fresher. As a child, I've always enjoyed Publix (for the free cookie from the deli) and this location is no different. Yesterday, I ventured into the deli area to take advantage of one of their mouthwatering selections. I settled upon a spinach wrap. The same wrap that was recommend by a Publix employee, weeks prior: spinach wrap with lemon pepper chicken, cucumbers, spinach, carrots, and feta cheese. It is now my favorite wrap. The lady at the deli was not familiar with the lemon pepper chicken wrap but I have the same reaction at most Publix stores, no biggie. And even though the employee had to run all over the store (literally) to get the ingredients for the wrap, not once did she lose her smile. I really appreciate that. Her kindness throughout my experience was exceptional. This store encumbers all the attributes of the traditional Publix brand: friendly, clean, competitive prices, fresh ingredients (deli, produce, seafood, and bakery), and outstanding customer service. My favorites: the deli for the yummy subs/wraps, and the seafood dept for the fresh selections. Everything at Publix is Fresh, Fresh, Fresh! No other grocery store offers to take your groceries to your car. And most want you to check yourself out and/or pay for your own grocery bags. Not Publix! This visit was strictly for a wrap but whenever I go grocery shopping, the fresh scents from the bakery and the ambiance always reminds me why I always trust Publix for my grocery shopping needs. I love this supermarket. It is Super!!! The produce is fresh and always seeing the staff reviewing it and restocking the shelves. The seafood could be fresher. Meat is fresh though. If you are looking for an item you can always see staff to ask where the item is located. They will go out of their way to help. However on weekends not so much so I go on weekdays to get better service. One time I asked a gentleman and he just said aisle eight I think! Then he went back to stocking the canned goods on the shelf. The cashiers and their helpers are great and friendly smiling and willing to help however not so much on weekends. Some just don't care. If I have to go on weekends I search for a cashier that I've seen on a weekday to assist. So I will continue to shop on weekdays and enjoy the pleasant atmosphere.
