I had about an hour and a half remaining on my rental car before I had to turn it in so parking was key. This location didn't have as many gluten free options as the one downtown but the parking is easier. Debating getting the burgers but settled on frozen mussels (deleted photo before realizing I hadn't uploaded it yet ). The mussels were surprisingly good for frozen grocery store mussels - would get them again. Especially when they are buy 1, get 1. That's one thing I LOVE about Publix: all the BOGO deals. I ended up buying more than I intended. Limited interaction with staff. Butcher did come out to see if I wanted help. Probably because I was spending a lot of time looking at the. Burgers and walking back and forth. Store seems smaller and more compact compared to other Publix. But same atmosphere. Would shop here again.

Very nice store with the same concept as other stores just not as many aisle or selection but great for those living in the downtown Tampa Bay area. This was my first visit and the service is here just like all other Publix. When I visit Tampa again I will stop by this store , it is very unique and has apartments above the store.

Huge parking lot out front, since it shares a strip mall with other stores. The store is clean, and pretty well stocked. Cashiers and Management are always friendly, and greet you if you are walking through the store. They've recently added self-checkout, so that is very convenient when you have only a few items to purchase. Just a heads up, their BOGO deals are popular, so if you go near the end of their BOGO special, you probably won't find what you're looking for. Today, for me, it was the coffee I wanted that they were out of. Pharmacy - 5 out of 5. They are efficient and quick. I've even could make appointments online to get vaccines through them, which was super convenient. Prescriptions are ready in a timely manner, especially now that I refill them online. Deli - 5 out of 5. Plenty of people making sandwiches at lunchtime, so the line moves quickly. Flower Shop - 4 out of 5. Nice, fresh assortment. Bakery - 5 out of 5. Love how they do so many seasonal items. Sushi - 2 out of 5. This is the only department in the store that needs a re-vamp. Publix makes a big deal out of $5 sushi Wednesday. Today the only "sushi" rolls available were made with fake krab meat. All of them. Pass. Other days, the actual amount of fish in a roll is miniscule - maybe one to two ounces at best. I've compared it to the amount that Whole Foods puts in their rolls, and honestly, Publix should be embarrassed. I get the impression there is no oversight on the sushi section at all, so they get away with putting in as little as possible. Publix - change this! All in all, a great store, and I will continue to be a happy, regular customer.

I was especially excited today because Lorraine was my cashier! When this Sprouts first opened, Lorraine was my cashier all the time, and I always enjoyed seeing her. I believe she received a promotion, so I don't get to see her on the floor as often anymore, but she still always recognizes me, greets me warmly, asks how I'm doing, and makes sure I don't need anything. It's just such a pleasant experience when you know the people who work there. And honestly, that's true of everyone at this location. The staff is consistently friendly, helpful, and welcoming. It really makes a difference when you can walk into your neighborhood store and feel like the people there genuinely care. Five stars all around! My father only gained assess recently so we are still getting used to the ins and outs of everything. As I am not listed as a "caregiver" for my Dad, it is kind of a pain to have to always stop and get a day pass for me to be able to drive him back onto the base but small price to pay. There are plenty of items that we do not buy there as they are close to the same price as Publix or other stores and if the stores are having a BOGO, there isn't a chance but there are tons of stuff that are lower in price and worth the drive. I am mindful of pricing per pound and chicken is not something we'll ever buy there as really the options are limited and pricing, not worth it, especially compared to Sam's or other club pricing. Recently, we tried out their online Click 'N Go and though it is extremely helpful for someone like my Dad who has trouble walking around much, I was somewhat disappointed. There is a specific item that my parents love and the quality and pricing is amazing so when ordering a large amount of numbers, the butcher staff told the Click 'N Go staff they didn't have enough packages to complete our order. I actually ordered 2 days ahead of time, not because I thought they would set them aside for us by 2 days but so they knew they had a large order coming up and would have time to prep and be able to complete the order fully but no success. On a hunch, I felt there would be a good chance that if I walked into the store and they would have more in the meat department and I was right. They had more than enough and we were there early so I know they prepped them that morning and just didn't want to have to do more for the store itself. Honestly, why does it matter if it goes to a Click 'N Go order or to someone walking in the store? I did mention this to the staff member that brought out our order because she apologized for not having the full order... she was shocked because she said that she specifically talked to them about our order as she was also the one who walked the store collecting our items. At the end of the day, we got the number of packages we wanted, but I shouldn't have had to walk into the store to do so myself. Just complete the order if you truly have the numbers to do so. I don't feel it was appropriate to act like they didn't have enough because they didn't want to do more work or that now I'll always feel I have to go in personally to check if the numbers are off. Other than that staff issue, we have had zero issues with customer service and everyone has been very helpful when trying to find something. They always are very accommodating towards my Dad and his need to go sit down while I am checking out for him. He is a typical Marine and even at the age of 78 with very bad knees, refuses to use any motorized carts, etc. so he gives them his card and goes to sit down while I handle the rest for him. Be sure to be mindful that the baggers only work for tips so be kind, ESPECIALLY when they are taking out your groceries for you and packing up your car.
