The ambiance is relaxed, and the staff stays on top of everything without being overbearing. There's also a nice variety when it comes to both the food and drinks. This visit, I went with the Florentine Benedict, and it did not disappoint. The sauce was smooth and flavorful, and the poached egg was cooked perfectly. I have to say when I come again, I will stick to my usual Thai steak salad as it is always incredibly good and for the main course, I will probably order that chicken and waffles again too!

My first inclination was to go with a burger, but then I saw a Korean barbecue chicken sandwich and I thought why not. I'd be lying if I said the sandwich didn't taste good, but I'm not sure what part of it was the Korean barbecue part. It was literally a fried chicken patty on a bun, that had definitely come in a bag frozen from somewhere. It had a very small amount of slaw that was red in color and I think that was supposed to possibly be the Korean part, but it had almost no flavor. The french fries were good though! I probably would not return to this location unless I'm in a position where I'm starving and it's the only thing to eat.

I chose the Mongolian beef for 3.75$, tofu veggie for 2.75$ and veggie sides for 1.xx$ the taste was decent for hospital cafeteria food. Exceeded my expectation. I will go back for lunch and breakfast to see what they offer. In my opinion, it's good value when you are stuck at the hospital.

There's mirrored signage that says TEA mounted high on the wall across from one another so as to appear as if it were a reflection. I used to tell folks it's across from the pink Catholic Church rectory. That's been painted to a rather unattractive conservation brown. A lot of nice outdoor seating and cool shops nearby, check out next-door thrift shop and the ever remarkable Petaluma market around the corner, with superb produce display! Famous for cheese, wine, cider, breweries and happy cows! If you're coming from the south cut over through Fairfax to Olema and take the back road up to Petaluma which is a stunning drive!

We happened to run into friends seated outside and stepped out briefly to say hello. When we returned, the team had thoughtfully kept our food in the warming oven so it would still be perfectly warm after we finished socializing. That level of attention and care is rare. Between the exceptional food and cocktails, warm welcome, and truly polished service, Solbar was a highlight of our trip.
