Food options are slim pickings at the Sacramento airport... Fortunately it looks like they are going to be putting in several new businesses soon. We chose this restaurant as it was one of the only sit down places open. We were seated at a low part of the bar. It took the bartender, maybe 15 minutes to come and take our order. I was dying for coffee, which my fiancé and I both ordered. I've had worse, but I've had way better. Plus, it was just kind of lukewarm. They've got a very limited menu. My first inclination was to go with a burger, but then I saw a Korean barbecue chicken sandwich and I thought why not. I'd be lying if I said the sandwich didn't taste good, but I'm not sure what part of it was the Korean barbecue part. It was literally a fried chicken patty on a bun, that had definitely come in a bag frozen from somewhere. It had a very small amount of slaw that was red in color and I think that was supposed to possibly be the Korean part, but it had almost no flavor. The french fries were good though! I probably would not return to this location unless I'm in a position where I'm starving and it's the only thing to eat. read more

We had a flight out of this airport which has very few choices for food. We wanted a sandwich for lunch on the plane and ended up getting a Turkey Club from here, to go, to take with us. Although it took a while, we had plenty of time. We were both glad we took the time rather than pick up one of the pre-made sandwiches at the other stores. The turkey was fresh and delicious. All the other ingredients tasted great and bread was good too. The fries were excellent too. We'd certainly get food from here if we ever go through this airport. read more

Looking for a quick sit down breakfast before takeoff? This may not be the best choice in Terminal B at SMF. With several empty tables we waited 10 minutes for a table. I observed that despite empty tables and several employees in the front of the house, the line persisted. With an hour before boarding we sat down for a simple breakfast. 20 minutes after placing an order of eggs, bacon, potatoes and toast ... crickets. When we were able to flag down our waitress she snipped the kitchen was behind and everything was taking 30 minutes. We've been coming to this place for a while and it's had its ups and downs, so we were happy to see that it was back to its original good food. Joseph was our waiter and we recognized each other, he has probably waited on us many times we have been here before a flight. My bagel sandwich was really good and my husband enjoyed his burrito. My husband and I were traveling to Burbank over the weekend and needed to have a quick breakfast and beverage before our flight. We were seated right away and opted for the bar area. It was crowded, but the service was fast and friendly. The inside is small, but they also offer tables outside which is great for people watching as they are hurrying to and from their gates. They also offer big TVs at the bar that I find can get pretty packed during a game day! We ordered a beer, a Bloody Mary and shared a Breakfast Bagel and Garlic Parmesan Tots. The Bloody Mary was spicy and had great flavor. The tots were perfectly crisp and the breakfast bagel was filling and held us over until we landed at our destination. Overall, Cafeteria 15L is one of the better options in Terminal B - we also really like Esquire Grill, but they are a bit pricier. Check them out if you're in need a quick bite before a flight or have some time to waste! read more

At this time there aren't many food options in Sac International Airport. This spot was right by our gate so we sat down for a quick meal. Breakfast options aren't many. A Breakfast plate, bagel sandwich and breakfast burrito. They have more options for lunch and a good bar but you can only order lunch after 1030. They did make chicken fingers for my daughter which I appreciated. The service was good and the food was pricey but its the airport. Thats to be expected. read more

My favorite sit down restaurant was closed so I discovered this gem. It was nice in a pinch. I loved the full bar and the staff, including the bar render was great and quick. I loved getting the bill quickly so I can pay with the QR code since I was short on time. As far as food, I tried the Korean Chicken sandwich. It was goguchong slaw so wet and messy...I know better than to order Asian in a café but I was craving something Korean. I do like you could get fries, side Caesar salad or tots. I'm never a big fan of eating at the airport.. You're a captive audience, so the prices are high and the options are limited. We walked up and down the full length of our terminal before deciding on this place. There was a sign that sad please wait to be seated but the bartender instructed us to sit wherever we would like. Our server was great, she was very personable and attentive. I ordered the blue cheese burger and my girlfriend ordered the turkey sandwich. Everything showed up to the table in a timely manner and the food was hot. The burger was not seasoned very well but the combination of blue cheese and grilled onions were good. My girlfriend enjoyed her turkey sandwich. All in all one of our better airport dining experiences. read more

Very delicious food at this stop in the airport. I've been to their restaurant on 15th so I was ready for some great food. We had breakfast burritos and orange juice. The burritos were good, however the potatoes were just tater tots which we thought was funny. Our waitress was a gem! She came back to check on us multiple times. This is specifically for the airport location and taking into account food normally available at airports. What I do appreciate about this location is that it is the same price as the regular brick and mortar restaurant. Usually places in the airport are wildly overpriced. This is the same prices you would get in downtown sac. 11.99 for a 20oz Sierra Nevada Hazy IPA 17.99 for the Korean chicken sandwich I'll say the drinks seem fantastic. The bartenders were personable and seemed to knowledgeable. My server was really nice and attentive, except it took a minute right at the end to pay. You can easily use the QR code to order and pay if you're worried about waiting to pay at the end. This is a great place to catch a game as you wait as well. The food itself was forgettable, but a good option for airport food. The chicken patty was extra crispy, like it had been fried for too long. But weirdly it wasn't particularly warm. And the French fries were also a little sad - soggy and not warm. And the ranch was lacking flavor. But overall, for airport food, it was a good enough option. Cafeteria 15L is a refreshing restaurant to eat at amongst the busier grab and go eateries in the airport. They have a good selection of breakfast, lunch, and alcoholic drinks. I like the multiple options of seating including tables with comfortable chairs, bar stools facing TVs streaming sports, and bar stools facing travelers passing by. I've tried their breakfast plate and enjoy their ham or bacon with toast and tater tots but their eggs are hit and miss. Their sandwich and salads are consistent and fulfilling. I enjoy trying out their selection of cocktails especially the Espresso Martini and Mimosa. They always have friendly and fast service and I've never been delayed to my gate by dropping by. I've been here several times and the bar service is consistently disappointing. The bartenders often ignore guests sitting right in front of them and don't even acknowledge when someone sits down. I get that places get busy, but a quick "I'll be with you in a minute" would go a long way. When you finally do get service, the attitude often feels like they'd rather you weren't there. She was abrupt, rude and disrespectful not just to me but other patrons that day. While we were getting ready to get up she tried clearing the table and moving the chairs abruptly as if we weren't still sitting at the table. What a missed opportunity at terminal b. There are no other sit down restaurants so this one is busy. Sadly, their food is terrible. I ordered the turkey club but that was not a turkey club. Worst ever. It was similar to a processed meet product with lettuce and a bit of avocado on 2 slices of soggy bread served with soggy fries. They are not playing the long game. Once all of the new restaurants open this will suffer. When you have a small menu, which I like, you should be able to turn out a perfectly done product. I'm disappointed and worried for the owners. I ordered a glass of cab although maybe would look at a menu next time as I'm not sure i expected a $23 dollar 9oz glass however it is the airport so could be on par for airport costs and i just wasn't as aware as i should be. I ordered some tater tots which were crispy (the perfect way to enjoy) and the food came out quick. It is a busy restaurant with limited, tight seating-but they make it work with the limited amount of space they have. The employees are friendly, welcoming and polite. My waitress was nice and attentive. I didn't wait long for my meal to arrive once I ordered it. I opted for the bacon cheeseburger lettuce wrap with fries. Located in Southwestern Terminal 2, I consider Cafeteria 15L a bar that serves food. I have been here several times with work partners during my travels to Sacramento. Not my type of place but always enjoy being with colleagues over a bite and drinks. The service is decent, always seems to be packed. The cocktails are on the weak side to me so I usually have a beer or a drink straight up. There are flatscreens and music playing. There are tables and chairs for dining and stools around the bar.
