    Side Salad.

Having read many great reviews & being in a central location in the tourist town of Franklin needless to say the expectations for a great meal were pretty high, but unfortunately it fell flat for the most part. First of all the place is very loud & chaotic which wasn't a good start. Second of all the service from start to finish wasn't bad but had much room for improvement. Third of all, the food was the same way ( BBQ Taco Salad & Brisket BBQ Sandwich ) wasn't bad but just seemed to lack flavor & the portion size was just a bit on the small side. On a positive note we really liked the decor & had a nice comfortable feel to it. Would we go back, possibly, but it wouldn't be our first choice next time we spend time in beautiful Franklin Tennessee.

Puckett's is our go to place for food and entertainment. The food is always good and their barbecue is top notch-and filling. I can't say the entertainment was better than the past times but they still were good. Service is always good and tonight was no exception. Although we arrived a half hour earlier than expected we were still seated. However, my wife heart one of the hostesses mumble that we were 30 minutes early. That being said we would have waited for a table until our designated time yet there were tables available. Other than that we enjoyed our food and evening. Of course it doesn't hurt that there is a free parking garage directly across the street.

Mark L. Was our server. He was super personable and did a great job covering the lunch menu. My wife ordered the chicken fried chicken and I went with the smoked meatloaf. Both dishes were excellent. Great comfort food. Even though we are staying in Nashville and there's a Puckett's there, we especially enjoyed visiting the historic town of Franklin. Loved this place!

I had dinner at Pucketts last week with two friends. It is one of my favorite places in Franklin. The dining area is cozy and welcoming. We even commented that we felt like we were sitting around someone's kitchen table we were so comfortable. The food is good home cooking! I had the smoked meatloaf this time and it was amazing! The peach cobbler for dessert was warm and yummy. If you're in Franklin, don't pass this up!

Great service and food at this cute neighborhood gem in Franklin. Franklin is the cutest town and Pucketts matches that vibe with strong southern hospitality. Everything was fantastic from the old fashioned cocktail to every item on the appetizer sampler. The sampler had pimento cheese balls with pepper Jelly, fried green tomatoes, some of the best pickles I've ever had, saltine crackers, smoked sausage and this amazing ball of goodness called boudin. Everything was perfection! The shrimp and grits with collard greens was lick the bowl good! The catfish is what they are known for and it did not disappoint. A huge hunk of flakey fish with the crispiest corneal crust. The fruit cobbler dessert was full of berries and well balanced with a not too sweet crust! Only thing was we wished they had live music! Worth the drive!

10/10 recommend the Music City Hot Chicken Sandwich! The chicken was so tender and flavorful and I loved that it was served on Texas toast. We went on a Sunday at lunchtime and they were busy, but we were seated quickly and the service was great!

People love this place and it comes highly recommended. The restaurant has good vibes, you'll hear chatter about everything under the sun son, glass clanking, laughter, and people coming in and out all evening. The service is helpful. Overall my food was just okay, the menu has these little pointing fingers for their popular meals. I don't eat much meatloaf, honestly it is very rare that that me eating meatloaf happens. I decided to go for it and....i make better meatloaf in the rare occasion I make it. Disappointing loading. The mashed potatoes were decent and the gravy good. After that I don't know what to think, and the cobbler mediocre at best. Would I visit again? You likely wouldn't guess that I would say "yes would". BUT I'm trying something totally different!!!

We eat breakfast at Puckett's often. And this is one of those "if you know, you know" situations. I order a bowl of their grits and have them top it with two eggs over easy. That's it. No hacks, no substitutions, no overthinking it, just a quietly elite Southern breakfast move that feels like it deserves its own line on the menu. The foundation is what makes it work. The grits here are genuinely excellent, creamy, well-seasoned, and clearly made with intention. And it's not a small scoop either; the bowl is three side orders of grits. This is not a light breakfast situation. One practical note: they're thick enough that they show up without a spoon. Not a complaint, just a moment of "respect the density." Once you break the yolks, though, everything loosens up into that rich, cohesive, borderline dangerous comfort food zone. What stands out is how unbothered the kitchen is about it. It comes out clean, properly executed, no questions asked, as if this is just a completely normal, correct way to eat breakfast. Bottom line: simple, rooted in Southern tradition, and easily one of the best ways to experience Puckett's grits.

I used to take customers to the downtown location all the time for lunch. It was always good. We were in town visiting and made reservations for dinner and to see the Friday night music. Our meals were really good. The half rack of ribs were tender, moist, and fell off the bone. The sides, potato salad and baked beans, both delicious. The mojo pasta with shrimp, chicken, and sausage in creole sauce was outstanding as well. Our waitress was attentive helpful with menu suggestions. I highly recommend both our dinner items. Oh, the music act was excellent. Loved the whole experience.

You can't come to Nashville and not come to Puckett's. We met up with some friends here for breakfast and it's was beyond amazing! Our waiter was great and helpful, as Soon as we got there she got our drinks order in & I got Their sweet tea to start off was so refreshing. Their food selection is mind blowing I ended up getting their Brisket Hash and it was the perfect combo and the flavors were great. We also got their Kings French toast these ARE a MUST the peanut butter flavor just makes them so good and not overly sweet but just right. Let's just say we licked the plates clean. The food here is just Simply Delicious! The ambiance here is great in the weekends they have live music as well and have a stage for that as well. Their little shop with souvenirs is great, lots of merch and different t-shirts, caps and mugs and more. Their bathrooms were clean a little snug in there but clean overall. Great for big groups but make a reservation beforehand to guarantee you a spot. Can't wait to be back! If you are in town come enjoy this Gem

There is street parking available in front of and around the restaurant. We went on a week night and were able to be seated right away. It has an old grocery store feel but also fun with the ode to music. The service was really good, our waitress was lovely, efficient and checked in often. My husband and I shared the sampler. I really enjoyed the brisket, chicken and sausage. I wasn't a fan of the ham. I really liked the baked beans and potato salad. My husband enjoyed the collard greens and chicken and was happy it wasn't salty. We will definitely come back and hopefully on a live music night.

Normally that's enough to make me reconsider brunch, but after eating here, I'd happily do it again. We were seated outside on an incredibly hot day, and our server--lovingly known as "Slacker"--absolutely earned a shoutout. He somehow managed to keep our table of indecisive food-sharers organized, never let our water glasses get empty, and made the whole experience feel relaxed instead of rushed. The only disappointment? They had already run out of gravy, which meant no biscuits and gravy for us. (My heart still hasn't fully recovered.) Instead, we leaned into sharing everything else. The fried green tomatoes absolutely lived up to the hype, the OG Bennie was fantastic, the avocado toast was fresh and flavorful, and because apparently self-control wasn't invited to brunch, we finished with the white chocolate bread pudding pancakes for "dessert." No regrets. Great food, fantastic service, and a perfect stop while exploring downtown Franklin. Just do yourself one favor... Get there early if biscuits and gravy are calling your name.

The warm, inviting vibe immediately drew me in. Since I was dining solo, I was able to grab a seat at the bar, which the hostess kindly pointed out was available. Considering the restaurant was packed and there was a long wait for tables, I was more than happy to skip the wait and settle right in. Behind the bar, the team was hustling, expertly balancing both coffee and cocktail orders while keeping things moving efficiently. I was greeted right away, handed a menu, and after a few minutes decided on an iced lavender latte and the lemon poppyseed waffle. My server offered a few side options, but I had a feeling the waffle would be more than enough. The lavender latte was fantastic, perfectly balanced with just the right amount of lavender syrup. It was flavorful without being overpowering and made for a refreshing start to the meal. Then came the waffle. The presentation alone was impressive; it looked more like a piece of art than a breakfast dish. Naturally, my phone had to eat first. But once I finally took that first bite, I understood what all the hype was about. The lemon flavor was subtle, bright, and refreshing, while the poppy seeds baked into the waffle added both texture and depth. Honestly, it was one of the best waffles I've ever had. Every bite was delicious, and it's a dish I'll be thinking about long after this visit. If you're looking for a standout breakfast in a lively atmosphere, Two Hands is absolutely worth the stop.
