TERRIFIC! Wish we could have tried this place out tonight for the live show, but it wasn't in the plans. We were early enough so we were seated quickly. Not the friendliest staff, not rude either, but other reviews raved about "Southern Hospitality" and I don't think that was really what was given. We weren't there for the them though, so it's still a 5-star. We had fried pickles, ribs, mac n cheese, collard greens, smashed sweet potato, broccoli and biscuit sliders... y'all, everything was the bomb!!! Ribs were best I ever had (this style anyway), biscuit sliders were amazing and makes me want biscuits for all sliders now! All the sides were terrific, with mac n cheese topping off the charts. Wow - definitely the low point on restaurants for our trip. All we ordered were two sandwiches with fries and iced tea and it took 30 minutes to get our food. Every table around us was getting their food right away. We got a BLT and a brisket sandwich, nothing difficult, and everything seemed fine when we ordered. Our server proceeded to ignore us for the rest of the time, all while checking multiple times on every table around us. She didn't speak to us again until she asked if we wanted cobbler. Originally I was going to get some but wasn't about to stay any longer. Her behavior was completely unwarranted and was upsetting. We are completely baffled as to why she acted this way. I'm not sure why it has such a high rating. The food wasn't anything special either. Cute place, although the seating is a little odd in spots. I've been to Puckett's multiple times for breakfast & lunch with my family, and always intend on returning very soon. The food's amazing every time, regardless of what you order: perfectly cooked and delicious. Each food option has a great Tennessee feel. The service is amazing as well; every server I've spoken with is extremely polite and helpful, and the food comes out of the kitchen rather quickly. My favorite part of Puckett's, though, is the environment inside. The setup is beautiful: with a neat store section and beautiful vintage feel. With a stage to your left right when you walk in, and the kitchen in clear view, it's a perfect place to visit when you're looking to try something new in Franklin. read more

I love eating outside here because this is such a cute, quaint little town. The restaurant is part of a chain but each location puts their own spin on the ambiance. I dined for lunch and food and service were very good. Their "HOT" chicken sandwich is hot. I also had the fried green tomatoes for an appetizer and that was also very good. read more

Stopped for brunch on the way back from Nashville. I recommend trying to book reservations because there is limited space for waiting on a table. We had a party of 5. Everyone ordered breakfast. It was absolutely delicious. Several of us ordered the southerner and it was so good. The chicken was freshly breaded and fried perfectly. Pecan pancakes are wonderful with warm syrup and butter. Server was wonderful! Order the whiskey cinnamon roll to-go! Their lunch menu also looks amazing so we will definitely be returning to try it! read more

Came for lunch on a Wednesday and there was a little bit of a wait, but staff was very friendly and helpful. Our server, Nico, was amazing. The food came quickly and was delicious! We sat outside in June and it was still nice. The inside looked a little crowded and loud but still charming! Overall would reccomend. Plenty of menu options even for picku eaters! read more

Seriously the cutest place ever! We stopped in this restaurant as we arrived in Franklin and couldn't have stumbled upon a better spot! Atmosphere- so fun and inviting! I loved the family style seating- made it very welcoming. They have live music EVERY night which makes this an even more awesome place to visit. Staff- so incredibly welcoming and helpful. Super friendly and great service. Food- top notch, delicious and worth every penny. My husband and I shared the brisket Mac and cheese. There was literally a bite of brisket in EVERY spoonful. What has taken me so long to write this review? My family and I have visited this great establishment for breakfasts, lunches, and dinners since moving to Franklin nearly 5 years ago. And when we have friends visiting from out of town, we often bring them here. Perhaps I've just taken good food, exceptional service, quality products, easy parking (right across the street from the free 4th Street Garage and overall exceptional consistency for granted. Folks, that's a big mistake on my part. Puckett's has led the community in food, fun (live music), mobility (Trolley Parton), not only in Franklin, but many communities in the surrounding area for year and years. Service at 4th Street is simply dandy. The servers know our grandchildren by name, they treat everyone with respect. And the food! I can honestly say I've never been disappointed with a meal at Puckett's. Yes, there can be a bit of inconsistency if I order the breakfast buffet and one of my family members orders from the menu. But we never feel rushed and there's always a little more coffee to keep us satisfied. For lunch I've often chosen a Meat and 1, 2, or 3 depending on how hungry I am particularly fond of the smoky baked beans and the collard greens.The Red Neck Burrito is a belly filler, friends. For dinner Fried Green Tomatoes...or one of our all-time favorites...BBQ Pimento Cheese Bites. Yep...pulled pork mixed with pimento cheese *and* bacon rolled together, breaded, flash-fried, and served with pepper jelly to dip or dab. (Eat enough of these and an entree might be out of the question. But if you have room, you might try steak, chicken, or a burger...or share "The Whole Farm" - oh my. Pucketts has a cool atmosphere being a restaurant, grocery and music scene. The food is fresh and flavorful above most everywhere you will experience. My wife and I arrived about 25 minutes before lunch started so seating was plentiful, but once lunchtime started the restaurant FILLED UP. Valarie was an A+ server giving us her opinion on the menu which was accurate. Food was delivered fast, at the proper temp and tasty. We sampled the meatloaf, brisket, mac and cheese, greens, baked beans and cole slaw. The brisket wasn't as tender as my wife and I like, but as a whole the meal was excellent. read more

First Time visit!!!!! Made reservations which was easy by calling, seated quickly, service was amazing (No Rush at all), fried chicken (Highly recommend) as it was cooked fresh, very juicy and the flavors were perfect. White gravy on the mashed was perfection and the smoked green beans were excellent. My wife and I had dinner here on a Sunday evening at around 5pm. 20 to 25 minute wait. The restaurant will text you once your table is ready. We were seated in about 30 minutes. We ordered an appetizer Puckett's nachos and we added pulled pork! My wife ordered the fruit tea and I ordered a sweet tea! The sweet tea was really good. My wife enjoyed the fruit tea. The nachos were phenomenal! You have to order the nachos! Chips, queso, cowboy caviar, jalapeños, pulled pork, with a side of salsa! The nachos saved our dining experience! We decided to share the beef brisket with baked beans, sweet potato fries, and Coleslaw! The brisket was not good! It was very fatty with gristle around all the edges! This was not lean brisket at all! The brisket was really not edible. Lucky for us they brought out an additional side of pulled pork which was a mistake by the kitchen which didn't realize our waitress put pork on our nachos already. All the sides were great! We had dinner reservations here on a Saturday evening, for a group of 14 while in town for a bachelorette party. We had a little bit of time to kill before our dinner time, and after exhausting our nearby window-shopping options, we opted to go to Puckett's early and get a drink at the bar. Many thanks to the couple already at the bar who happily moved to a side so we could all fit at the bar (only half of the whole party was there for pre-dinner drinks). Also big shout out to Caleb! Caleb is a fabulous bartender! Friendly, engaging, funny, talkative, and all while constantly moving creating our drinks and drinks for the whole restaurant. He and a fellow server talked up an off-menu drink special, a Strawberry Rye Mule. It certainly piqued our interest, and many in our party ended up ordering SEVERAL of these. Well sold, sirs. Take all of our money for this crazy tasty drank! We actually got seated a bit earlier than our reservation, nestled in to the corner surrounded by the coolers and refrigerators (I mean..."grocery" is in the name...). It made for some interesting photos with our group! It also meant we were seated very close to the stage, so we got a first row view of the Jolly String Quartet (family band) that was entertaining the crowd. Despite the heavy-handed religious overtones of all their inter-song-chat, they are an extremely talented group and the music made us very happy. As a group, we shared some appetizers and I gotta praise the BBQ pimento cheese bites. I could have eaten 3 orders of these! Delicious. As for my meal, they had a restaurant week special. 3 courses for $20.20. And looking around the menu, that seemed like a great deal. I got a side salad to start which...was fine. There was nothing special or unique about it, but it appeared fresh. My main course, I opted for the smoked short rib with cheddar grits and collard greens. The beef was incredible and the grits were a perfect complement. I am not a big greens lover, but I tried them and they were pretty ok. Then I ended with the buttermilk beignets. I wasn't really hungry by that time, but I had paid for these, and when I tasted them....oh man. I had no choice but to devour them completely! Service was great and our server handled our large group with ease and a smile. The food was delicious. And there was good music to be experienced. I really couldn't have been happier with our meal. The only weird thing about Puckett's is that you basically go through the kitchen to get to the bathrooms. But, they are clean and spacious so....*shrug* read more

Authentic southern cooking! Baby back ribs were so good we didn't need the sauce! Shrimp and grits also a win, and loved the cornmeal fried green beans as an appetizer. My wife and I were on vacation to Nashville and we visited the Battle of Franklin sites from the Civil War (Amazing sites!) We had multiple recommendations for this place and it is a refurbished grocery store. The special today happened to be BBQ pulled pork. Score! I ordered the BBQ pulled pork with an IPA with baked beans and turnip greens. My wife ordered the steamed brocolli, which we asked about and they come out buttered, but she is very health consciense and they said they would just steam them (Perfect by the way!) The BBQ pork was the 2nd best pulled pork I tried out of the 7 places we tried during the trip for BBQ and the greens were not bitter at all. The beans were solid. I like when they have hunks of pieces of pork included, and I didn't get that here. Our server was super cool and again, it was super great of him to check if they would just steam the veggies for my wife. My second favorite restaurant in Nashville. (Barrel House in Lynchburg next to the Jack Daniel's Distillary took the winner) Gotta try. read more
