Holy moly this was good food. Everyone ate everything and with a family of 6 that says a lot. My daughters said the cheese sauce on the nachos was really thick and heavy. My shrimp and grits was lovely. The catfish was amazing.

This is a cute restaurant in the heart of the square in Murfreesboro. We came in and were greeted and seated quickly. While we had a good server, we were on a time crunch and we lost our server a few times. I ordered the Nashville cheesesteak with sweet potato fries and my husband ordered the redneck burrito. Our dishes arrived with the fry options swapped, which is ok, but shows there was not attention to detail. The cheesesteak was so big that I couldn't pick it up to eat like a sandwich, so I ate it in pieces with a fork and tore up the bread. My husband's burrito had good flavor and had lots of meat! When we were done with our food, we couldn't find our server for a while and we had to get back to MTU for a marching band competition, so that was frustrating! And because we had to wait, we couldn't get any dessert. So, overall, a good place, but not sure we'd go back.

Was very surprised when we got there. There wasn't a wait for seating, get seated promptly took our server about 5 to 10 minutes to finally come over to take our drink order. It was only 5 to 10 minutes before the drinks came over not too bad. My wife ordered chicken fried chicken, and I had the Cajun catfish with coleslaw and fries. Both were good. The catfish was extremely tender and moist. It was cooked perfectly the jalapeño cornbread that came along with. It was also very good. The restaurant shop was a very well lit very clean. The food was a great value for the dollar. I'll go back a second time.

This place was very slow when we went in which we thought would mean better food! More time to prep and deliver a solid meal?! Right? Right?!?! Wrong. The cheese bites were okay. The brisket Cheesesteak sandwich could not have been worse. This brisket. Man I'm telling you, THIS BRISKET had to have been cooked until it mixed in with the color of the charcoal they were cooking it on and then when they took it out they had to have taken a blow torch to it. It was not edible. Sad when you really think about it. Service and the Water was good though.

Where do I start!!! Friday night (6/19/26) arrival in Murfreesboro lead us to Pucketts! The aroma of BBQ was in the air! So thats what I ordered!! I got the Pucketts Nachos and my friend got the Redneck Burrito!! I didn't even need the sauce for my BBQ it was so moist NOT dry! My friend waved about the BBQ stuffed burrit!! My other friends ordered the MoHo pasta and Nashville Cheesesteak! Everyone was well pleased! the portions were enough for Togo plates for a midnight snack! but the Cherry cobbler took the grand prize!! oh my!!! Wish they could bottle that up!!! This is definitely a staple in Murfreesboro for a reason!!! If you don't visit you are definitely missing a great meal and the retro deco is just an added bonus!!! We never even made it to the ice cream shop we were so full!!

All we were supposed to do is reheat it from instructions but it was still raw after reheating. They didn't use a temperature probe for it and we paid way too much for this to be raw. This is a health hazard.

Always have been a fan of the decor of Puckett's. The service was top tier and never had to ask for refills, and she actually had a few tables, which is superb service. Now to the food. The only thing that was decent was the Mac and Cheese and that was sub par. None of the food was seasoned and the roast was swimming in butter/oil. I didn't have the fish, but I hear it's pretty good. Maybe next time.

Dessert--Cinnamon Roll Bread Pudding. Highly recommended.

To start the service was underwhelming. I waited by the door for close to five minutes before I was seated. They went that busy...the teens were just hanging out and not paying attention. Minus one star. The atmosphere was awesome--it is a great place. The smell is as you would expect--like BBQ. The menu was a little disappointing, but I knew that coming in. I was disappointed that so many things ended at 3pm. The sweet tea is a 3.5/5. The refill is 1/5 because it wasn't sweet. My food was good! They have sauce on the table, and that is worth a bonus. No napkins on the table is a small drawback--ask for extra. The beef had too much fat, and the pork was just right. It was all good. The sweet potato fries are interesting, but not my thing. I ordered the Cinnamon Roll Bread Pudding for dessert. It was the best thing about my meal. The sweetest of sweet tea would taste unsweetened after eating the dessert. I could only eat half of it, but it was really good. Service was the biggest drawback. Would I come back here? Maybe, if it wasn't a Sunday afternoon. Or maybe if I sat at the bar where there is an adult in charge de facto. Solid three star experience.

Most definitely had a much better visit this time. Wife and I had the fried green tomatoes and the Pucketts pulled pork platter with slaw, beans and sweet potato fries. The food was served hot and was very tasty. Service was friendly, prompt and accurate. The ambiance is casual and they had a normal volume of guests. Based on today's experience I will definitely return.

Tap in below: -Being from Nevada, we had stop in to support a former Nevadan owned business. Ron just got a knee surgery and was hard at work!!! Anna was in the kitchen running around and all hands were on deck making sure everyone was tended to, and had not just phenomenal service, but phenomenal food! The sense of community spoke mountains as my fiancée was wished a happy birthday by a daughter of a firefighter, we watched her open the door for a local who came in, and as beautiful as that was.... Ron was known by all the locals and this restaurant spoke community from the minute you walked in. As for the food: -Steak plate: 5/5 Well seasoned, home cooking. If you've walked into your home and you had mom make you a hot plate of food, that's what this experience reminded me of. Home. There were smiles as we ate, flavors that reminded us of home cooking, just a classic diner experience that makes you feel a sense of community. It was just a perfectly cooked over medium egg, a scramble of steak and potatoes that was seasoned well, just a quality dining experience. -Chicken and waffles: 4.5/5 Southern classic. Breading was the only thing I'd change on the chicken but a fluffy waffle met with sweet syrup and a crispy chicken. Savory meets sweet and it's just done simple and done right. Chatting with Ron and Anna, the community is blessed to have them in this town and the twin yolk is somewhere I'd say is a true hole in the wall you'd miss unless you knew about it. Hoping this provides the visibility for you to share this heart warming experience as well.

I would definitely recommend Twin Yolk for a quick, tasty and inexpensive breakfast.

Maybe for the brew but not for the brunch. Just felt like the biscuit and the gravy should've been scratch made. Maybe they were but they definitely were lacking flavor. They did NOT disappoint!! I am officially hooked! From the moment we walked in, I could see and feel the sheer energy coming from the crowd and the ambiance: it already felt like great food and great people. It was packed to the brim for Wine Wednesday! They had one table available for two! Our server, Sarah, was outstanding!! She was sweeter than pie and extremely attentive! She always made sure we had exactly what we wanted when we wanted it. She advised sharing a bottle of wine since we wanted the same one, and since it was half price most wines. The young manager on duty delivered and uncorked the bottle, and she was just as sweet as Sarah! Her name escapes me, but I will find out the next time I go. The Spanish Tempranillo we tried was divine! It was perfectly balanced without being too dry or too tannic or too sweet. It was so smooth and thoroughly enjoyable to drink! For food, we started with the goat cheese bruschetta. It was perfection - rich in flavor and well balanced in the distribution of each component! From there, we tried the special of Steak Tips Au Pauvre - with a peppercorn wine sauce. We chose brussels sprouts as our side, and it also came with a side salad. We weren't too hungry, so we split it. Sarah even had the kitchen split both the salad and the main dish in half for us! The salad was so fresh (with ripe grape tomatoes!!) and the ranch dressing was classic and delightful. The wine sauce was everything I wanted it to be: rich, complex, thick, and buttery. It reminded me of the beautiful sauces you find on a steak or chicken dish at a sidewalk cafe in Paris. The dessert menu looked amazing, but we didn't have any room left. All I can say is you MUST try this place!!! If you can find Sarah, even better!
