They have tons of options for both breakfast, lunch or brunch ranging from Panini's to burgers, biscuits and gravy to waffles. I ordered the 3 piece tenders with fries and a side of hash-browns. Food It's just wasn't working for me. The gravy reminded me of packaged gravy. No sausage pieces in it. The biscuit was ok. Tried the bowl with grilled chicken and everything was hot and fresh but was bland IMO. Just needed some salt & pepper to set it off. Then the cheese was just thrown on top and not melted. I will say the matcha latte was amazing! Creamy, nutty (added pistachio syrup), and VERY hot. Service Exceptional! Cashier was patient as I had a lot of questions (first time visit). Food came to the table very quick! Ambiance It's a lot bigger inside, tall ceilings. I like how you can see through the glass to where I would assume the pastries are being made. Would I go back? Maybe for the brew but not for the brunch. Just felt like the biscuit and the gravy should've been scratch made. Maybe they were but they definitely were lacking flavor. It hurts me to say. I come here multiple times almost weekly. Spent a lot of money over the few years that I've been coming here. The workers are fantastic and friendly. Nice ambiance inside and speedy drive-thru service. Unfortunately, the overall food/beverage quality seems to have slowly dwindled throughout my time visiting the establishment. Here is something I've never understood, why change an item/ingredient when it works? If it's a cost issue then put the cost on the customer and allow us the same quality product that produces the exact same experience, every time. I would rather pay more for something that I like vs paying the same for some altered version of what I'm used to, and end up not liking it. There's too much flip flopping on product. I remember when they had the absolute best muffins that I've ever had in my life and they replaced them multiple times since, never to be had again. Also has an item listed on the menu, yet when you order how it suggests, they say there's no way to ring it up. Just ordered a usual of mine just to discover that 2 of the main components of the meal have been replaced with cheap(think Waffle House quality but worse) ingredients. Wasted. I hope that things change for the better and stay that way, because honestly this place is still one of my favorite spots, which is why it sucks to write this review. We had 3 sandwiches-1 Chicken Sandwich and 2 BYO Breakfast croissants; 1 apple fritter; 1 cinnamon roll, and 1 old fashioned glazed donut; 1 medium Latte. Coffee was excellent!!! I had vanilla and hazelnut syrup added and almond milk instead of dairy. It didn't need anything else added. Not too sweet and very smooth. I ordered everything through the website with drive thru pick up. Estimated time for preparation was 20 to 30 minutes, however, I arrived in about 14 minutes and it was ready. The croissant was a little dry for me though it was nice and hot with a fresh fried egg sausage, bacon and cheddar cheese. My son said the chicken for his sandwich was a little dry but overall it was also pretty good. I am biased when it comes to cinnamon rolls as I have a favorite place here locally. Was not a bad taste just not what I prefer. I went between breakfast and lunch so I was able to get directly in line at the drive-through and not have to wait. Still not a bad spot for a combination of items available with pretty quick service. The only reason for reducing from five stars to four stars was the dryness of some of the food. I was in Murfreesboro because of business. I was in that time period where it was too late for breakfast and too early for lunch. I had a great thought: Brunch! I did a Yelp search and this popped up as being nearby. I saw a bunch of donuts on offer but I was in the mood for a meal. They had all manner of omelettes and sandwiches. I opted for the "boro" omelette. I also got a coffee. The coffee was prepared quickly and was very good. I also really appreciated the water that was available. The food came out and was hot and fresh. I liked the salsa it came with. I almost thought they brought out the wrong omelette because I noticed mushrooms in it. I enjoyed all the ingredients they used though so even if it was a mistake, it wasn't a big deal. All in all a great breakfast. They have a viewing area whereby you can see donuts being made. Perhaps because this place is a bit beyond my normal travel paths, or perhaps it is due to the location in strip mall, but I never ventured in. That will change as this has risen to the top of the list of my favorite do-nut shops. It is wonderful. Light and airy, there is a do-nut factory inside the restaurant. It is not like the factory of a famous crispy chain. Nor is it like the back kitchens of other places. It is right out front and it produces a premium product. But, wait, there is more. They do not sell only do-nuts. There is much to the menu. I will tell you about my taste sensations and the service. They will mix and match any ingredients to make your breakfast sandwich. I had an English Muffin sandwich far superior to anything under any arch. I also got a blueberry and cream cheese filled croissant. Both were lovely. I do not recommend eating these while driving. My wife is still trying to identify the stain that dripped on my shirt. Perky young ladies who served me were very nice and made the visit enjoyable. However, when I ordered my coffee, the lass forgot to enter in my order. No harm done. So there is another top-notch (strictly) do-nut shop that is also slightly out of my way in the opposite direction. I do believe Brunch and Brew will be seeing more of me. read more

Located in a small strip mall, Joe's was a great find for breakfast & brunch. Light & bright inside, it has an area to watch how the donuts are made. Omelettes, bagels, waffles & breakfast bowls populate the menu, with vegetarian & gluten-free options. Large coffee menu as well, from drip coffee to lattes & frappuccinos. Everyone we encountered who works there were friendly, patient & very helpful. The omelettes were excellent, as was the kids' waffle breakfast. Donuts are mainly yeast or sourdough, but still really good (I say they as I prefer cake donuts). Totally enjoyed our coffees as well (hot plain oatmilk latte & an iced pumpkin latte). This place was terrible only person that liked it was my 3 year old son . My sausage wasn't even cooked all the way ! And my cheese in my eggs were just thrown on top not cooked into . And also seasoning in breakfast potatoes was just thrown on top . There is not love in the food they make here and I spent 35$ including a tip for just me and my son he got waffles and bacon , I got the sunshine meal . We didn't get any drinks at all !! Bc we brought our own waters. Super disappointed I had to pay pull price for trash food I ended up throwing it all away , I was offered another breakfast biscuit and sausage and i denyed it due to the other one being not cooked . I wish they would have told me no from the beginning of making the butter beer in a blended form instead of letting me do it 4 times then saying they can't do it. I don't like that almost every time I dine in they are standing around having a good time on their phones and I sit down to eat and they want to clean after I sit down with bleach and chemicals, why not clean while y'all are standing around holding up the counter and texting and giggling on the clock? I first connected on IG and I was offered a free donut. Why not. I went back and realized it was a lot going on with the menu. Since it was early. I stuck with tea and breakfast. The place was busy. There is a parking lot so that was cool. Staff was friendly and efficient. I did order an egg and cheese bagel along with hash browns and tea. I did get my donut as well. The sandwich was good overall and hash browns tasty. I will have to explore a different donut outside of a plan glaze next time I visit. There was a lot of options. I will be back to visit. I wanted to love this place so bad because of how close it is to my house. Being that it is a local donut and coffee shop I expected an elevated feel on coffee and donuts but it was pretty underwhelming. The donuts were a step if not very similar to Dunkin's donuts. Not very exciting and the coffee is watered down I don't know if they make it out of a keurig or what. Atmosphere is great though, nice place to grab breakfast and talk. Very well done inside. Dear friends if you haven't been to this spot yet make a plan to go! I am not a doughnut fan , so I cannot speak to those. I did try a bite of each of the sweets glazed things are not my thing. My friend very much enjoyed. However (hair toss) let me tell you about their breakfast burrito. Come hungry and creative because you will want to devour this monster. Or go with a friend and do halfies. Additional the bagel sandwich is good! The grilled chicken was excellent, but the bagel wasn't toasted and was supposed to be an everything bagel- that didn't translate. The second star of the show was my latte. So glad to have finally visited this new breakfast spot! We ordered the Maple Bacon Doughnut, the Dulce de Leche Doughnut, a Vanilla Iced Coffee, and a 'Cup of Joe'. First, they have one of the best Maple Doughnuts I've had in a awhile! The Dulce de Leche doughnut had a much more subtle flavor. I had high hopes for my Vanilla Iced Coffee, but it wasn't very sweet and I even added creamer. In addition, they seem to have some staffing/ organizational issues as there were only four employees manning the front counter, drive thru, and drink area during the breakfast rush. This caused a bottleneck as customers waited for their drinks. I'll be back to try more of their doughnut flavors - especially the orange glaze and vanilla coconut, but they definitely need a little work. read more

The place was clean and nice. The staff was fine. I did have to find condiments for my breakfast. The food was below average. My over medium eggs were over cooked. The sausage was nothing more than a frozen patty, heated up. Bacon was pre cooked and chewey. The biscuit was so dry it crumbled. I couldn't even fix the biscuit with butter, that I had to chase down. Coffee was so so. I try to support local restaurants but this reminds me why franchise food is a safe bet. Their Facebook page and their menu when you walk in says that specialty "donuts" are $15.99/dozen. The only choices for specialty are fritters or cinnamon rolls. When I placed my order, they told me the total was $23.99. When I asked why I wasn't getting the price for a dozen, she went to ask who I assume was the manager. He said it's too expensive to do that. Ok, I get that. So put a sign out or put a piece of tape over it on your menu. Or at the very least, the staff should tell you BEFORE they box your order that they are unable to honor that price. I had them put the cinnamon rolls and fritters back and just ordered a dozen iced and filled donuts. They were more expensive than the other donut places in town ($14 + tax), but they tasted like donuts you'd get at Kroger or Walmart. If I didn't have my children with me, we would have gone elsewhere. We will not be going back. read more

The cherry fritter was soooo good but honestly I could say that about nearly everything. The breakfast sandwiches werenvery good - deff get the biscuit because it was the best. And I have high hopes for their lunch options because my sistee got the Philly and it was very good. The bread it was on is fantastic. Also loved the waffle and hash rounds. I came on a Saturday around 10:30am and the line was pretty long wrapping around the seating area to the other entrance. It took about 30 min before I was able to place my order at the cash register. I ended up ordering 2 glazed donuts and the southern omelette. Once I got my food, the first thing I noticed between the 2 glazed donuts was the inconsistency. One was smaller and thinner than the other. Their donuts are definitely more dense. I prefer donuts on the slightly more airy side. As for the omelette, my first bite was delicious but I soon realized that I got a full veggie omelette without the sausage that the southern omelette was suppose to come with. I brought my omelette back to the window and they apologized for the mixup which I appreciate. However, the redo omelette was over salted which ruined the dish for me. Overall, I was pretty disappointed with the wait time and food. I know there's probably several kinks to sort out as they have just recently opened but I will wait to go back to give them another shot once things have died down a bit. read more

I am so excited they finally opened! I have been waiting for months in anticipation for their soft opening. The inside of the restaurant is clean, spacious, and bright. They have a room with glass walls where you can watch them make their pastries. The Dough Latte had a mix of Indian spices in a light and creamy coffee. It was not overly sweet, which I loved! Also, during our 2 hour stay, we were given free samples of their chai which was one of the best I've ever had. I also got a Breakfast Sandwich, which is customizable with your choice of bread, meat, and toppings, which include eggs, veggies, sauces, and jellies. The biscuit was buttery and flaky. For dessert, I got a Blueberry Cream Cheese Danish, which was light and fluffy with the perfect amount of sweetness. My friend got the Masala Omelette, which was delicious and is a WONDERFUL deal. I went to Joe and Dough Cafe today for the first time. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. I ordered a breakfast sandwich with egg, cheese, and sausage on a jalapeño bagel. I, also, ordered a chocolate dip doughnut and an apple filled. Both were delicious but the apple filled was definitely my favorite of the two.
