    Complementary Chips and salsa

I visited Pueblo Solis for the second time and enjoyed it just as much as the first time! This is a Mexican restaurant located in south city. The service was excellent the whole night. As soon as I got there I was served with their complementary chips and salsa. I ordered the potato quesadilla with steak and it was so yummy and flavorful. This is definitely one of the better quesadillas in St. Louis. I ended my night with a coconut flan which was light and tasty. This restaurant was fairly priced and I look forward to coming back!

YUM. This spot was so tasty - I loved the level of spice used so much. I find that a lot of the Mexican restaurants I have tried in south Hampton area have food that ends up a little bland because of lack of spice. That is not the case here at all! I was also very impressed at how balanced and smooth the frozen margaritas are - it was more like an icee! The salsas given with the chips were delightful as well, I loved that three different salsas are on the plate. Our server was so kind and was extremely knowledgeable about the food when asked questions. This is a small spot inside for the winter, and it didn't feel like we were on top of other people at all. I am very excited to add Pueblo Solis to our rotation!

Have been here many times before but met an out of town friend here on Labor Day for dinner and the place was packed. Thankfully I got a table just a hair before the rush because they filled up fast and were busy until 7:30p. We sat outside on the patio. The chips are nice and the 3 salsas are all tasty but my fave is the Smokey one. Both the green and the red are good, but the green has the most heat. We also had the guacamole which was allot for 2 ppl. I fad the fish tacos which were tasty but I prefer the fish on the crunchy side and my order was very soft. My companion has the chicken flautas which he said were good. We both had the house margaritas which were tangy and packed a punch. The patio was inviting on a nice night, the drinks were cold, the food was hot and the service was friendly and nice. Pleasant experience!

Such a south city staple restaurant! The chips are served warm. The guacamole is delicious, highly recommend! Fajitas are delicious and portions are large. Shrimp Diablo is absolutely fantastic, a bit spicy but delicious. Service was a bit slow but they were extremely busy and the waitress was still attentive and accommodating. Such a fantastic restaurant, definitely worth the stop!

Food was So over priced for the quantity. . Service was good. Paid 23 for fajitas and got only 2 peppers and zero onions. The beef was not seasoned at all. The only good thing about this place was our wonderful server. Will never come back again.

I've been dying to try Pueblo Solis since I moved to St Louis.. to say my expectations were high we're about understatement! Everything was fresh and delicious! The guacamole was light and perfect! I'm a huge fan of adding salsa to my Guac and their salsas are incredible! The Chile Relleno stuffed with beef and topped with cheese hit the spot. I'd definitely order again! The food is really good Tex-mex with great service!

Great dinner tonight. I love the food here. Such flavors! When you arrive you have your choice of eating in the bar area or dining room. They also have nice patio seating for warmer weather. Starts off with their chips and salsa. Their chips are brought to you warm and salty with a variety of three salsas. It was hard to choose my favorite and I was happy to have the variety. I ordered the Chili Relleno with rice and beans. You get your choice with it stuffed with seasoned beef or cheese. The waitress suggested that I get it with the beef and have cheese on top. Best of both worlds and it was delicious. The ground beef was very flavorful. The rice and beans were really good as well. When my plate came to the table it was sizzling hot. Nothing better than a nice hot meal. The service was excellent tonight. The lady that brought the chips and salsa was so attentive. Our glasses of ice tea and water were never less than half empty and she was so quick to see if we wanted a chip/salsa refill. Our waitress was also very good.

This a cutie Tex melt restaurant that has great service. I was in town for a few days and I was craving Mexican. This play has great reviews so I stopped in. Street parking is more desirable. There is a small parking lot. If you can get in do so. I ordered the chili relay. No it was very delicious. They give you the option of ground beef or cheese, but go for the ground beef. I'm not saying that this is the best but it is for filling. Check it out check it out.if you are in town. Oh, totally forgot the margaritas are strong and I only got the house one. Thank you!

Good food but not a place to go with smaller kids. No cups with lids no kids menus. We'll go back when we have a baby sitter.

The music in the background and terracotta designs highlighted the threads of Mexican culture but made the Homer statue appear to be a little out of place! Definitely a fun dining experience. The outdoor seating felt super spacious. It was a beautiful day and temperate weather to be able eat outside. It did have numerous umbrellas and a covered portion which kept most of the seating shaded. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was good. I was a little disappointed with the bread used for the Torta. I was expecting a bolillo type bread where it the outside is a crisp crust but the inside is airy, chewy and sweet. Instead it was a Telera Bread that was like a very crumbly messy french roll. The pieces of chicken were very thin and cut into strips instead of one patty. It was very dry and not much flavor. The fries were potato-y but not seasoned or salty. Very bland. The aroma of all the food was phenomenal. But tasting the flavors and eating the dishes didn't quite live up to the hype of my super smeller.

I prefer the quesadillas with some of the more unique flavors, especially since the price point is very reasonable and you get a fair portion of food. Service: very good. They have QR codes at each table that you can order and pay straight from your phone, which is very convenient and the food always comes out pretty quickly. The staff here is always so nice. Ambience: the majority of the eating area is outdoors in a heated tent. It's a nice vibe and lets you feel like you're sitting outside without actually having to be outside. Parking isn't too bad here, there's a small parking lot right behind the restaurant and then there is typically ample street parking.
