Gallo Special but I substituted lettuce for the rice

GREAT SERVICE at the bar. Alexis waited on us and was wonderful! We sat in the new section and the temperature was a little warm. Complimentary chip and salsa was very good. Salsa was fresh, warm and had a great flavor. The food could have used a bit more seasoning for my taste. The frozen margarita was very good without be overly sweet.

Went here for a Christmas party and not only were they unprepared the food and drinks were terrible. The manager and waitress were Right during our party time trying to figure out who takes what table, etc. took 30 minutes to get a glass of water and one hour to get one drink. Had dried up nachos that were Literally stuck to the plate by the overheated beans on the nachos. Had 2 Margaritas and nachos and the total came out to 60.00 if you used a card. If you paid with cash it was less. Service fees came out to appx 13.00. Now IF the food and service was great no problem paying more for excellent service but that is not the case here.

Order taco plate and andiana. Grande plate take out order when I got home to eat it was nasty two long hairs on the chicken I called the manager told him I paid $27.00 and there were hairs in my food he said he will go to the kitchen to check who had gray hair which cook this was nasty watch what you eat in this restaurant I will not go back again too nasty I have photos to prove it ughh

They got theirs and no one standing to their needs. I would be embarrassed.

If a could zero stars I would. They had five people standing around the cash register and no one helping new customers. Whoever is over these people need to be taken to school of hospitality. I will never come back

Well, to start with, this used to be one of our favorite places to have Mexican food. Things have changed! We first noticed walking in, very few people on a Saturday at noon. Next came the menu, brand new. As we brous, the prices have gone up by 15-20%. (Ok I get it, inflation, supply chain....,) things have been removed from the menu (my favorite, carne guisada). So I tried the Birria taco, excellent! Great new addition to the menu. My husband ordered the tacos al carbon. I think we have gone back in time to the days of Emeril Lagasse! Pure GARLIC! Not good, never again! Then we like to play the guessing game before the check arrives, boy were we not prepared for this one! (See photo) $65 more or less! And to top it all off, they are passing the credit card fee on to their customers now! This meal would have been $40-$45 in the past. Yes he has a lot of food, but was it worth it? NO! I could have had sushi for this price!

Mmmmmm, was really disappointed at dinner just now. Coming here to Texas to visit I heard that this place had great food. Especially cheese burgers out of all things. Anytime I go to a Mexican restaurant I get Mexican food. But this one time I thought I'd try one of these cheese burgers. Very disappointed, but the steak fries were good. Everyone else ordered Mexican food and seemed to enjoy theres. Chips and salsa before the meal were good. Service was sub par, as it was hard for everyone to get a drink refill. We did get one, as we were getting ready to leave. But for the other 30 minutes we were empty. The place looked nice inside and seemed clean. There is a separate bar area, several tv's thru out and a place where you can make a free soft serve ice cream cone for dessert on the way out. If I were to go back I would skip the cheese burger and steak fries and stick with a Mexican plate of some kind. Also there is outdoor seating available. Since it was 96 degrees outside that wasn't even an option....lol.... With the high temperature out it was nice inside.

Dinning area.

Over priced Mexican food, Tacos al Carbon were terrible. Enchiladas were terrible, salsa on a scale of 1-10 was a 2. Hard shell ground beef tacos had no flavor. Iced tea was good.

The Patron margarita was good. The normal size was already huge.

A group of my friends and I had been out at an event near Valley Ranch and decided to get some…read moredinner after it was over. Chuy's at the Valley Ranch shopping center is fairly new and we figured we would give it a try. We got there around 7:30 pm and it wasn't too crowded, being a Tuesday night and we they quickly set up a table for 8 people. Our server was a young girl and came out to take drink orders. In 5 minutes or so she was back and started taking the food orders. I don't envy servers who wait tables with a large group of friends like ours as they need to keep track of who is with who, couples vs single diners but she did a good job. Chuy's like most Mexican style restaurants serves chips and salsa at the start when you sit down but they also famously serve their complimentary signature Creamy Jalapeño salsa, a popular zesty, ranch-based dip. This creamy green sauce, often called "green sauce," is a staple, frequently referred to as part of the "three amigos" along with the chips and red salsa. We didn't order any starters, just the main course and it was a bit slow coming out considering that the restaurant wasn't very crowded. I always wonder why this happens, are they short handed in the kitchen? I had ordered the Burrito Bowl with shrimp and my choice of rice was what they call Green Chili Rice as a base instead of Mexican Rice. I also asked for a CUP of their Tortilla soup on the side. After a fairly long wait and consuming way too many chips our food came out. The table soon got quite crowded as they tend to serve the sides like rice and beans in separate dishes from the main entrees. She must have misunderstood because I got Mexican rice as the base of my bowl and a big side of the Green Chili rice. No biggie; then she put down an enormous bowl of soup, seemed like almost a quart! I asked if this was the CUP or the BOWL and she said, "Oh sorry, I thought you said bowl." But then said, "No problem I will only charge you for the cup" which was nice. We all ate and for the most part everyone seemed to enjoy their food. The Burrito Bowl is a great way to go if you don't want a heavy meal, and sometimes Tex Mex or Mexican food can be heavy by the time you add on refried beans, melted cheese and sour cream, etc. My dinner was just right. I only had taken a few sips of the soup, it was zesty and hot, pretty good for a chain restaurant and seemed genuinely homemade. Pretty soon as our server came by she asked if I would like her to put the rest of the soup into a container to take home and I agreed; it would make a great lunch the next day. Soon we were don and she brought out the checks, it was a challenge and she first double checked her tickets to make sure she got everything right. It took a while for her to find a manager to reduce the price on my soup but eventually she did. She menioned that this was only her second week on the job and we all praised her and tipped generously as mix-ups happen and a slow kitchen is not the front of the house's staff's fault. Overall thoughts, yes Chuy's is a chain and chances are you will get the same menu and presentation at their other locations but our server made the difference as she tried really hard to please us.

It's a chain so the food is mostly always the same, but the service is so bad here oh my goodness…read more I placed an online order to go for Flautas and some queso, that's IT, and it took them over 45 minutes to get it ready and bring it out. I had to call them twice to confirm they even had my order. I paid online (also can we talk about the fact that an order of flautas and a small queso was $25!?) and don't do tips on curbside, because??? Why? And after i had already said no for the tip, the woman who brought me my order asked me if i was going to tip FOR WHAT. 1 pm on a Thursday, very small lunch crowd- maybe 15 cars in the parking lot if I'm being generous. Absolutely ridiculous. Not only did I wait almost an entire hour, but everything was soggy and barely warm at all. The chips were stale and i ordered double rice and they gave me beans instead. Worst Chuy's I've ever been to. So unprofessional.

I was very nice about everything and I told her this is the third time I've been here that this has happened several of the dishes that they serve lack quality.
