We've been coming for years, we love the food and the staff. Husband had the Birriaquilles and loved them.

Was not a huge fan of a very happy hour it was yes, service was shitty. The food did not taste good and honestly, my table was just sticky and dirty. I just would not go back a really left a sour taste in my mouth.

The Hacienda Polomas is the latest Tex Mex style restaurant to occupy this Kingwood location. My first impression is of the 3 or 4 incarnations, this is the best. First the dining area is open, festive and inviting. Second they have a large, covered outdoor patios area. Last, but not least, they have a large menu that includes all the traditional offerings like fajitas, enchiladas and tacos. However also they grilled fish and seafood selections that were very flavorful. I wish them longevity and success.

This restaurant is excellent, every dish I have ever had here has been very delicious. The service is friendly and fast. I highly recommend this place. I have been trying to taste as many different dishes as I can. My favorite continues to be Menudo on the weekends and the taco salads!

Usually decent. Good friendly service. Good food. But I had the absolutely worse beef taxos I ever have had. Greasy. Funky taste. Gag.

Highly recommend! This is my sixth visit to Loco Cantina…read more It has never disappointed. We live on the other side of town and always come here to eat when close. The food is consistently delicious, drinks good and the decor needs to be seen. The service is excellent. The staff is sincerely friendly and actually seem happy to work here. The manager has never failed to visit the table to make sure all is good. Please support this local restaurant. You won't be sorry! Bonus: nice patio area

I asked the girl can you fill it a little more because now it's looking empty to me, at this point, I'm already annoyed because she really brought it back almost empty and I paid 5 dollars for the small cup.... manager comes out big Mexican with spiky hair and tells me they have certain types of measurements and if I want to fill it more it will be an extra 1.99!! That's just ridiculously expensive for a s/m cup of horchata, like be so for real Horchata the price of a margarita is just insane to me. If I would've said yes charge me that 1.99 I would've paid 7 dollars for this dumb shit. I literally just told them to put the ice back in there so I don't feel like I wasted my money

One thing that really stood out to me: they made Choripollo for me by request, and absolutely nailed it. That level of flexibility and care is hard to find. My wife can't get enough of the papa nachos, they're a must-try. And the drinks? Always on point. Whether it's a house margarita, a piña colada, or an ice-cold Modelo Especial on draft, they don't miss. Great food, great drinks, and even better people. Meat was good but tortillas de harina needed a bit extra cook time. The place was so dark it was hard to see the menu even though it was around midday. Miche wasn't good but I believe in I paid for it I'm finishing it. Food was average at best nothing that makes you say "Oh yeah Lupe's has the best...." Was expecting more way more since prices ain't cheap. Oh and for some odd reason they don't have salt on the table. I was like oh this food is about to be good since salt is not needed around here.

I don't know if it was the michelada mix they use or the bar tender mixing it. It was so bland and the color wasn't appealing. I've had better micheladas at Gringos. We ordered the 1lb mixed chicken and beef fajitas for 2, which will cost you $52. The food was just as bland and terrible. The beef fajita was overcooked and had a weird texture. Everything was just bland and off color. The rice was flavorless and looked more like white rice and wild rice mixed together. The frijoles were clumped up and not appetizing at all. Just looked like a huge clump of beans in a bowl with absolutely no flavor. The bartender Nick was good so the service was about the only thing up to par. Overall, not worth the $90 we ended up spending for 2 drinks and fajitas for 2. We should've just ended up going to Pappasito's just a bit further away. The fajitas and drinks would've been better and worth paying more. We probably won't be back unless we're in the mood for a decent margarita in the area.
