    Tree in the power line
    Sally B.

Wow. Called PSE customer service at 5:02, spoke to a super nice man about trees touching the 'hot' lines on our property and John, in a cherry picker truck, was here by 5:45 to assess what needed to be trimmed. Not an emergency, but being proactive. Luck on timing and great cutsomer care by both of them. And we appreciate Asplund, the team who trimmed away from the power lines here before.

Area containing 2101 customers, including stores and traffic lights
    Roger W.

Live in Port Orchard area and I find it interesting that PSE restored power to the wealthiest neighborhood first before the rest of us and the proper infrastructure. Thousands are out of power for over 2 days yet the wealthiest neighborhood got theirs restored in less than a day. This is unacceptable to prioritize those with wealth over the masses. Stores has had to throw out thousands of dollars in products because of no power to keep them from going bad. Private citizens are also having to do the same. Employees are not able to work because of the lack of power to do their jobs. This is bad for the economy. The solution is to prioritize infrastructure work before residential.

The only stable service that this company can provide is their billing system. Outage all the time without any explanation or reimbursement.

When I first reached out to Kali, he immediately told me he wanted to help save me money and carefully walked me through the next steps I should take. He spent a significant amount of time with me on the phone while I was dealing with what I thought was a major leak at my house. He explained what questions to ask, what the process would likely look like, and how to narrow down the source of the problem. Following Kali's guidance, I contacted a plumber to determine whether the leak was inside my house or between the house and the meter. The plumber confirmed it was somewhere inside the home, so I called Kali back the next day to schedule leak detection services. During our conversation, Kali asked me to send several pictures of the rooms, pipes, and layout of the home so he could think through the situation before coming out. As we were talking, I mentioned that I had a boiler system. After I sent him a picture, he asked if I noticed any visible dripping. I said no. He then asked me to turn off the water supply to the boiler and check the meter again. Sure enough, the leak was in the boiler system. Kali figured all of this out entirely over the phone because he took the time to truly think through how to help me. I was honestly shocked that he was able to identify the issue without even coming to the house. I truly think he is the "leak whisperer." What stood out most to me was not just his expertise, but his heart. He was thoughtful, patient, and genuinely trying to educate me so I would feel less stressed and more at ease during a difficult situation. I truly feel blessed to have crossed paths with Kali. It is rare to meet someone who is clearly not in their field simply for the money. Kali is there to help people during times of stress and uncertainty, and that compassion shines through in everything he does. Kali, I pray that all the blessings you give to others come back to you 100-fold. You are truly a blessing, and I pray God continues to protect and guide you. Thank you for using your talents and gifts for the good of others. Valorie Crout

It was a Saturday, so... not a great start to the weekend, and also, not a lot of (decent) plumbers available! Anyway, I posted a project on Yelp, and Homeservice Plumbers were fairly quick to respond after my other Project options (not to be named here) either demanded a phone number or made wishy-washy timing range options (which were not amenable to my schedule). Homeservice Plumbers was quick, to the point, and not pushy or demanding at all anytime I was talking to them. I scheduled for Tuesday between 12-2pm arrival, and Xavier, the first person who came out to see the problem, showed up in a timely manner (just before 12pm!) as he had another service call in the area. He was respectful of property (brought his own shoe coverings!) and was also pleasant to work with. Unfortunately he didn't have the tools, but he was the one to call in Nick who had the requisite tools for the job. He confirmed the service would be possible, and off he went. The next person, Nick was great to work with - he arrived promptly at 5pm (the quoted range was 3-5pm, which was perfectly reasonable), respected the property (brought his own shoe coverings, asked to use a small bowl to capture the grease drippings from the p-trap, and cleaned up after the work was done), and was able to provide a fair estimate for a high value of quality work. He finished by 6:30pm and confirmed the drain was working, and verbally confirmed (it's not on the invoice but I hope I never have issues again!) that there's a one year labour warranty - great deal! I never caught the phone "operators" name (my bad, she called me THRICE and I still never caught her name), but she was cordial, polite, and quickly handled my concerns for updates on when the plumber(s) would arrive. Scheduling through Yelp was simple and easy - and having no "service call" fee means there's no obligation to go through with anything you're not comfortable with. Anyway, short story (really) long: this company is on my list of "high quality work at a fair rate", because (1) they don't charge for service calls, which is a bold move in today's service-oriented environment, (2) they are reasonable with pricing given that I'd done some research beforehand, and (3) they verbally offered a warranty for their services, which means that they're willing to stand by the quality of their work. Call them today for your plumbing issues. Fair, honest, trustworthy service is hard to come by - the companies you see on the billboards aren't the only options in town!

Gigantic tunnel of parking - and crazily busy all of the sudden as Sunday got later - maybe students crash studying for Monday. Okay enough about the parking. Love the art, both the public and the student art pasted inside. Meeting spaces, event space. The library itself is down the rather cavernous hallway - the library itself feels pretty gigantic; enjoyed browsing the suggested new titles on offer. But once Cesar, the owner, received his final payment -- before the job was fully completed -- he disappeared. Completely stopped answering calls, only occasionally responded to texts after I threatened escalation, and even then just sent vague promises like, "We'll come tomorrow." I got that same excuse five times over nearly three weeks. Each time, nobody ever showed up. Now I'm left with multiple open trenches in my yard, exposed pipe, and an increasingly frustrated right-of-way inspector who could hold me liable for the unfinished state of the project. The pictures attached show how they left my front yard (even their cones are still here). Cesar might underbid competitors to win your business, but this company is a total gamble.
