I had heard good things about Warm & Fuzzy from a few family members and decided to try them out in the hopes of finding a little less expensive care than our previous vet. I was pleased with the care she received during our time there. All of the vets and vet techs that we interacted with seemed to handle her "spicy" behavior well and conducted themselves with compassion, even while she was growling and hissing at them. Unfortunately, my cat's condition continued to worsen and she was eventually diagnosed with cancer. We ultimately made the decision to have her put to sleep at Warm & Fuzzy just a few months after our first visit. Once again, everyone was very helpful and kind during what is such a difficult time. I greatly appreciated the empathy and understanding from all the staff involved and the seamlessness of the process. I was only disappointed with some of the limited availability I found in making appointments. I believe they're one of the only vet clinics providing exotic pet care in the area, which can make getting appointments with specific vets difficult as their spots fill quickly (though there were a few times where we were squeezed in between appointments so we could be seen sooner). They also only perform operations on Tuesdays, so there may be a longer wait for these procedures. Despite some of these frustrations, I was still satisfied overall, and would recommend this vet clinic to other pet owners.

The frito corn chip smell is very aromatic around her paws. So we take her to this vet and this new doctor, whose last name begins with a W. She was a very pleasant black lady that wore glasses and she said that day was her FIRST DAY. So we were concerned that our dog has yeast. We were very clear that this is what she has. We were VERY clear that we wanted medication to get rid of this itchy yeast. So she does a visual assessment and says "Well I was expecting to see her paws really red and inflamed. She looks in her ears and says the same thing, that it didn't look inflamed enough. In my head I'm thinking "So what are you saying Dr. my dogs paws and ears got to be burning red and severely inflamed before you says it's yeast despite the corn chip smell, the licking of the paws and the scratching of the ears? So she tries to give our dog a needle for allergies and we had to inform her that Princess doesn't have allergies. So then she tried to sell us some tick and heart medication...we declined we were adamant that this is yeast and we want ti get rid of this form of fungus. This doctor is saying because it doesn't look really red and inflamed it couldn't possibly be yeast. Imagine that. Never heard something so ridiculous in my life. So then she says well I will give her something for itching and some pads to wipe on her paws. We kept trying to tell her the yeast is in her eyes as well and when she licks her paws she is cross contaminating because I'm sure since yeast loves warm and moist environments it's on her tongue too . At some point me and my daughter felt we weren't getting anywhere with the communication. Here we are days later and she is still licking and rubbing her ears , no change whatsoever and we are out of $200+ dollars. If that was bad enough I call to speak to a doctor today and had the unfortunate luck of speaking with a Lisa. Lisa from the very beginning of the call told me that the pills should work. She literally argued with me and told me the pills should work. Then this Lisa told me I wasn't a doctor and it was possible I didn't know what I was talking about. Then Lisa went on to say that she was reading the doctors notes and told me the doctor mentioned nothing about yeast in her notes. Now I'm really boiling. I was already upset before I called. Then I felt like this Lisa was challenging me and going back and forth with me when all I want is for my dog to feel better , not to feel like I had to argue with Lisa to get my point across. After listening to her justify why the doctor did what she did when she isn't a doctor herself I asked what was her name because I couldn't believe the level of disrespect. She refused to give me her name and hung the phone up. After she hangs up on me I get a text message that said "We are sorry we couldn't get to your call please leave a message or email us." So now I'm thinking why would I get a text saying that?. So I call back and I'm trying to speak to another lady and out of nowhere I hear the phone being snatched and very loud and boisterous "Lisa" gets on the phone and says " Yes I'M THE ONE YOU WERE SPEAKING TO .......&&&&$:@@**£#£. And hung the phone up again. So not only is my dog still with this itchy yeast, I'm out of $200 bucks and then l get blasted from this "Lisa". Lisa was so confident with how loud she was talking to me it kind of gave me the vibe that her manner of speaking to upset patients is pretty acceptable and supported. All I would like is to get my $200 worth of tx. They can take these products back that they sold us and give us what we consistently kept asking for and that was anti-fungal medication for the yeast.

Update 12/1/22: Dr. Called this morning. Back on track…read more My daughter swears by these folks. My experience wasn't so great. My cat is having problems keeping his food down. It's been going on for a while. His longtime vet, Essex-Middle River couldn't find the cause. I took him to Eastern Veterinary Hospital and they ran a lot of expensive tests and couldn't find the problem. My daughter recommended Banfield. My initial visit was encouraging. The Dr. wanted to try a dietary change. He put Sprocket on a bland diet and said he would call me in a week. He didn't don't call. I tried to drop off a stool sample but was turned away at 5:00 pm. They close at 6:00 pm. I called after 9 days. The vet was busy with a patient and I was told he would call me when he was done. Two days later, still no call. Sprocket not getting better. Moving on to another vet if I don't hear anything by Friday.

I am visually impaired, so Dr. Anna, Kate and her vet tech took extra time to explain what they were doing in case I wasn't able to tell. They took extra time to tell me all of my different options to help my dog, who suffers from chronic allergies, and itches all the time. The cost of a checkup and the medication's are comparable to those of my local vet. The only additional charge is the travel fee. However, for me, it is definitely worth it because of the convenience. However, they also offer a program you can sign up for that helps to cover this cost. Dr. Anna Kate was kind enough to tell me a little about it during their visit today and I plan on looking into it. Dr. Anna, Kate, and Javier are both incredibly kind and compassionate and very professional. They answered all of my questions, and never once made me feel like they were rushing. They took their time with my dog, and we're very loving with her. I highly recommend this mobile vet service. You will not find two more compassionate and amazing people than Dr. Anna Kate and Javier! (I tried to take a selfie with them, but did not realize my phone was on portrait mode.
