Flapjacks - Nasty, weird tasting breakfast burrito without potatoes, bacon or sourcream, all of which were ordered.

Had to go with the flapjacks aka pancakes and they did a swell job on them. Fluffy and crisp edges. Lots of flavor compared to the typical flour taste from other pancake houses. Huge menu with lots of options. They also serve mimosas and some bottle beers. Located inside of a shopping center this was my first visit but I already want to return with my lady and son to get some more Flapjacks.

This establishment has been here for years and is always filled with patrons everyday. So what did we order. 1) basic breakfast: homemade sausage patty, 2 eggs, pancakes. The sausage patty was large had a nice flavor. Two eggs were a little too runny. Pancakes were good; fuffy, sweet, and nice size. 2) Bacon cheeseburger: very tasty juicy burger that came with all the appropriate fixins. the entire burger was covered with crispy bacon. it also arrived with a ton of hot fries. 3) Monday special: Homemade chicken enchiladas. this entree comes with two shredded chicken enchiladas covered in a mild sauce, basic refried beans, and seasoned spanish rice. Not the best but decent. 4) spinach salad: this entree looked fresh and inviting. fresh spinach leaves, covered with fresh strawberries, pieces of cold chicken, avocados slices, and real crispy bacon bits. dressing arrived on the side. very nice salad even with the cold chicken. 5) garden omelette: filled with veggies(spinach, bell peppers, onions, zucchini). my only complaint: slightly overcooked which makes a fuffy omelette into a somewhat tough scrambled egg omelette. This dish also comes with 2 large pancakes. there were a few little mishaps. it took some time before our wait staff took our order and even longer before our food arrived. The eggs were a little runny, omelette was a tad overcooked, and cold pieces of chicken in the salad. Hence just 3 stars.

I recommend making reservation in advance. Weekend brunch can get busy. They have a small covered patio. I saw someone had a private bridal shower in the patio and thought that was such a cute idea. I love EVERYTHING here. My go-to is the deviled eggs. Can't go wrong with breakfast with eggs but you must try their pancakes and waffles. I think they rotate their menu periodically. For lunch/dinner, we like to order their pizzas and a salad. Simple but so good! They are a small local business. Go support them whenever you can.

Interior felt like you were dining in someone's home (in a good way!). And the food was tasty! We started off with the deviled eggs (no bacon) and they were perfect! I opted for the avocado toast which was on some delightful bread and had a fresh salad on top. The husband and mom both ordered the eggs benedict (husband went with salmon, mom went traditional) and they loved it! The husband doesn't even ordered eggs benedict normally and devoured it. Oh yeah, the mom also ordered a pizza once she saw the table behind us order it and we had a slice each but took most of it home. Was great! Overall, great brunch spot with excellent food. Come for the food, stay for the vibes.

Headline: If you love breakfast you'll love this place!…read more Location: Located off C and 35h street, I never expected to find a nice cozy little breakfast shop out here but thanks to a recommendation by a friend I was able to find this gem. Located across from office complex and a neighborhood it's surprising to find a place like this and the parking situation lets you know it is defintely a popular spot. They have a small seating area inside as well as seating outside it this defintely a place you don't come for a quick bit. Pay attention to the parking rules and signs so you don't get on the parking departments bad side!!!! Vibe: This place gives more old school diner vibes rather than the modern industrial type look you see from a lot for the newer place. They scream old school and I really enjoy that it's not all about trying to get a modern vibe. Service: staff was great and attentive getting our orders out quick and refills coming. They announced the specials and were really friendly and upbeat. Food: I ordered the special and really enjoyed the different tastes with the pineapple and coconut. The portions are pretty big here and it can seem pricy but those prices are inclusive of sales tax. Big thing to note: this place is cash or check only! Defintely worth checking out but make sure you bring money. If not, they do have a fee less ATM inside.

I…read moretypically am not a person to wait in line but since I'm not familiar with the area, I didn't feel like trying to figure out a different place to go. The wait was only about 20 minutes, but I chose to wait for an indoor table because I was a little chilly so it ended up being slightly longer. I ordered the Rosemary breakfast and asked for my eggs, scrambled with cheese. It came out looking so good, and they actually made like a little omelette with my eggs and cheese, it was just lovely and fluffy. The rosemary bread with the butter and the blackberry purée was unreal. I could drink a cup of that purée. I was a bit disappointed in the potatoes because the salt level was astronomical. I'm someone who loves salt and it seemed like all the really crispy spots were saturated, burn my tongue level of salt. I was going to say something to the waitress, but she didn't come back until I was almost done eating. The coffee they use was from a local roaster and I went for a light roast pour over coffee and it was phenomenal. Beautifully nuanced flavors. Parking around here is rough. I parked in the neighborhood on the street behind the restaurant and I did not see any no parking signs but got a parking ticket anyway. I even looked before I left, but I saw nothing! When I got back and saw the ticket I was like WTH. I finally found the resident only parking sign about a block away on the other side of the driveway on that part of the street. Bummer.
