Tyrone is probably the best barber I've been too plus he's mobile. When I sat in the chair he told me his job was to give me the best cut in town so in my mind I'm like "yea that's what they all say." He spent a lot of time on my cut using all the essentials but he also had a lot of other unique products that other barbers don't use. When I saw the end result I was shocked, he really knows how to blend, shape, shadow, fade and is very detailed with the straight edge. Attempted to book this guy to cut my boyfriends hair and the phone call sounded promising. He then asked for pictures, in which I sent them. He texted me back to tell me he would call me back cause he was with a client. I waited. I waited and waited 8 hours until I finally decided to find sumone else. A simple, " sorry I am booked " or any excuse would have been fine. I just dont think he was very professional with his communication. read more

This is a welcome addition to our neighborhood! Here is why: ++The location is perfect! It's the walking-home-from-school path from Eastmont High. Local kids are not only patronizing the place, but pulling up thier pants to do so! ++They are constantly busy with customers that respect themselves and others. ++ The business makes great use of the space. It used to be a seldom used corner store and we had vandalizm. Since they're no-nonsense and have lots of customers waiting, local graffiti and ambiaent trash are down. ++ They are very clear- no one who is high or drunk is welcome there. Nice rule! ++The barbers are pros, no matter who you get. They all do classic cuts, fades, etc. ++ They brought another great business into the area next door. I totally agree with Jerome J. Yes this is a mobile service now in which I thought was a phenomenal idea the first time he arrived and yes he did a great job on my sons hair. Because of his great job I got my hair cut the same day he cut a little to much off for me but I didn't complain I continued to allow him to be my sons barber as well as I brought other customers to him, not saying I created a clientele for him at all but I definitely spent my money on multiple heads. Unfortunately trying to support this brother turned into messy ass hell for me and my child, he started to change prices every time we called to the tune of a $75.00 haircut for my 12 year old child that I had been paying his requested $20.00 for every haircut he performed per his request because we asked him every single time how much? However I still respected his hustle if you charge a different price on certain days you have the right to do so, I then asked what and where will you be for the price you've been quoting me ,and guess what he said meet him on 82nd where he's posted which I did multiple times with my child.. the story is much longer but unnecessary, I sent this man a polite but direct message from a customer asking if we had done something wrong to him because he faked on my child's appointment then wouldn't answer the phone and only answered to quote his continuously changing prices to me as if I had done something wrong to him he then had the nerve to be upset, chop me up to people, and some messy vs on Facebook .... it's just simply disappointing to have to deal with my own people and be treated so bad and disrespectful!! I've done nothing this brother but come out my damn pocket to pay for his services over $200.00 in a couple and then be treated so rude by Tyrone horrible business ethic. Actually it's very disappointing because I enjoyed being a customer and so did my. We have to do better read more

This is now a mobile service. He now has a truck traveling and catering to customers needs. I have been going to him for years. Not only am I always satisfied with my son hair cuts, but I'm overall satisfied with how caring and professional the barber Tyrone is. He mentors the youth, and the young men. When they come in there he teaches them about respect but allow them the opportunity to see how grown men are supposed to represent themselves. He has done a lot of great things for the surrounding community even giving young boys the opportunity to work for him. This is truly a great barbershop all the way around. The truck may be a bit pricey, but it's worth the exclusiveness. read more

I've been to this place twice, i don't think i will be going there again, the atmosphere is not bad, they are trying to make it look as professional as they can, but here is why i don't recommend this place, one is the wait time, secondly the barbers there are not good, i can say the worst I've been to, and the last time i went there, i fell asleep.. Barber T. (AKA Tyrone) was rude and gave me a horrible haircut. He reeked of marijuana and body odor. He tried to charge me $25 for a simple fade but he messed it up and didn't even say he was sorry or that he would try to fix it but I didn't want him to touch my hair anymore so I walked out. He got mad because I refused to pay for a messed up haircut and then cussed me out on my way out saying don't ever F***** come back again unless you wana get your A** beat. I will never be going back there again. He acts as if he's a nice guy and that's all a FRONT to trick people inside. I also looked up his name in the department of cosmetology and barbering (http://www.barbercosmo.ca.gov) and he doesn't even have a barber's license!!! read more
