First, it's my opinion that Josh is dishonest and will gas light you to think he can finish even close to on time. He lied to us over and over, which cost us extra on the backend, and many extra months of work on the same project. Secondly, his work quality is mediocre. It's not bad, but it isn't great. Uneven walls, floors, and poor quality saltilla tile grout work. Third, this guy keeps a very messy jobsite. Trash everywhere, and didn't pay the demo hauler who would text me asking me for payment - when the fee's where on Josh's invoice. They left a lot of holes, and small things to be completed by someone else later down the road. They were slow to respond, and did not take any ownership over their work and lack of planning. At the end of the day, I very much regret hiring this guy. I hope that time and experience changes the way he conducts business. If he didn't just have a newborn, I would have disputed my credit card and treat him like I normally treat dishonest people. Being a father myself, I gave him grace and just took the hit.

I have worked with John twice for my previous house and current house. For our first house, the…read moreproject involved demo'ing our existing stucco, adding insulation, applying new coats of stucco, finish with smooth stucco and accent sidings. He also demo'ed our entrance concrete and installed pavers. Everything was done according to plan and there was no surprises. Price was reasonable. We got a new home and needed to add a top smooth stucco on existing stucco. We also had to modify our 3 single-door garage into a 1 single plus 1 double door. We also needed to install a new entry door, window sills, etc. John came through again with a reasonable price after interviewing a few others. The garage door modification was very substantial involving structural engineering drawing, replacing steel beam, new framing, etc. John was able to complete all of these and helped us pass final inspection. We had to pause for over 6 months waiting for our custom entry door to be made, and once it arrived John wrapped up everything without any delays. In all honesty we never worked with any GC more than once, but John is the only exception.

Her husband also came by to help lead parts of the project, and having both of them in our home was genuinely reassuring. They made us feel comfortable and safe throughout the renovation. Usually, other companies charge a fee for every single hole they drill in the sink and charge for each cabinet handle individually, but they did all of it with no extra labor costs. We also had our baseboards done here, and we are so happy with the results. If we had known they did vinyl flooring, we would have done that with M&M too. I highly recommend them. The installers are all highly experienced masters.
