First time at Pummarola Miami Beach in Alton Road. I ordered the Pepperoni Pizza and Fettucine Bolognese. The Pepperoni Pizza was good, fresh ingredients and perfectly cooked. Fettucine Bolognese was delicious! Service was good. Casual and family atmosphere Italian Napoletana style eatery that also offers pizza making classes with their knowledgeable instuctors. Check it out!

A south beach gem. Definitely a hole in the wall but a great hidden place away from the expensive south beach prices and feels like Italy. We went for Monday margharita pizza and it was super good. The closest to the one we had in Naples, Italy. It was 6 dollars and they make it as soon as you order. You can actually see them make the dough and put the toppings. Really fresh. It was so good we ordered another pizza. The dining room is small but comfy and they have outdoor seating. Everyone was nice but the food is super good. We want to come back to try the pasta with huge meatball. See you soon

The best pizza and my first time having carbonara

Came to this place 3 times because it was sooooo good. The first time, the carbonara was cooked perfectly. Great portion and enough to share. The second we came though, the egg separated and was over cooked. It wasn't very appealing but ate it anyway. The pizza is my fav. Made fresh and pillowy. Mozzarella sticks were really good too. They host some classes here and we came in with one going on. Definitely one of my favorite places! The pizza

Indoor and outdoor seating options. Overall casual but comfortable chairs. Small place but didn't feel too crowded. Friendly guy behind the glass was freshly making pizza. You order at the front and they bring it out to you. I appreciated their selection of pizza and especially their vegan cheese, which was very good. I got the ten inch personal pan. Veggies were fresh, crust well baked... not too dry and not too mushy. Sauce was good and I liked that nothing felt over salty. The minestrone soup was good, hearty. I would definitely come back for the pizza and can recommend this spot.

I had a super fun pizza making class at Pummarola today. Really enjoyed the class as well as my pizza with mushrooms, peppers and spicy salami. Delicious! I recommend taking the class and/or coming for their incredible pizza. The takeout orders were flowing non-stop too. It's a good sign!

We had an amazing experience at the pizza making class at Pummarola Miami Beach! Maiul was incredibly informative, patient, and helpful throughout the entire class. She made everything fun and easy to follow. My favorite part was patting and shaping the dough -- and of course getting to eat the delicious pizza afterward! The whole experience was awesome, fun, and memorable. Highly recommend this class to anyone visiting Miami Beach or looking for a unique activity!

My group of ladies to include the birthday had an AMAZING time today. Milu was an exceptional instructor with a patient disposition. There were other individuals there as well that helped to give the ideal experience. We were given the royal treatment and the food was delicious. I will recommend Pummarola Miami Beach to everyone I know. Thank you for a perfect day.

    Spaghetti Pesto + Fettuccine

Been craving good pizza since I moved out of Manhattan and Pummarola looked promising. Ordered: Caprese pizza + American pizza + L'Italiana pizza + Pesto Spaghetti + Fettuccine Alfredo + Mozzarella Sticks + Caesar Salad. Everything was good -- a perfectly fine dinner. The salad needed more dressing and should only come with Romaine lettuce imo. Pizza crust was thicker/doughier than I'd prefer. Overall, not bad but not my style!

    Great vibe

Amazing food & great staff. The space is smaller inside but also has a small patio area that's comfortable. Prices are amazing for the quality & quantity of the food. Tastes like a high end restaurant!

I love Pummarola. I come semi-regularly for post-run pizza with a big group and I've also been for pizza making class. Consistently a good experience. The pizza is always great and the people are always nice. I usually come on Monday and they have a killer special on margherita. Their dough is some of the best in town, so even this rather simple pizza is a treat. For the price the value is good any day of the week but on Monday it's fantastic. The personal size is usually enough for one big meal for me or two light meals. The pizza making class is a fantastic value and a wonderful experience. Skip the other overpriced pizza making classes from other pizzerias and come here. The class size is small and they thoroughly walk you through how to make a delicious pizza dough. You get to eat a personal pizza and have a drink during class and you leave with lots of dough. The person running our class was so sweet and knowledgeable too. Nothing but good things to say about Pummarola and the South Beach location. Whether for a delicious pizza or a fun class, worth the visit!

What an amazing experience, Jerry did an outstanding job and was also bilingual which helped a few of the other guest who joined us in the experience, he made a few jokes here and there but also gave us knowledge on how pizza is made and why it is done in that certain way

Nothing ruins a pizza more then a dirty oven and a burnt tasting crust :( I was starving too
    Christine S.

Not impressed. Pizza was soggy and had a burnt oven taste. I am a bit of a pizza snob to begin with but honestly this wasn't good.

    Spicy Salami Pizza
    Sydney L.

Updated to 5 stars because business owner reached out and was kind to us. Pizza is a winner winner chicken dinner, except pizza. We had the Spicy Salami and it wasn't spicy rather full of flavor and a good non floppy Neapolitan crust. In terms of pasta, not so much to be said other than decent. Not really al dente. Service was not great. Waitresses aren't that friendly or helpful when deciding on options. Sat outside food came SO fast, concerningly so. Asked for another san Pelli water and it came out as we finished dinner. She told us that she said "come inside to get it" when we asked which isn't the response you'd want to hear nor the time you'd want the additional water. Whatever, I come for food not service so I'm giving it a 3 for speed and delicious accurate Neapolitan pizza marks.

THE BEST DATE-NIGHT ROMANTIC SPOT IN MIAMI…read more Pane y Vino is one of those rare restaurants that gets everything right: charming, delicious, romantic, and completely unique. The décor has so much personality, and the entire experience feels wonderfully old-school--from the attentive service to the little details that make you feel genuinely taken care of. The owner is lively, charismatic, and absolutely charming, faithfully tending to her guests and making the whole room feel warm and personal. And then there's the food. The carpaccio was exceptional: paper-thin slices of fresh beef topped with delicately sliced mushrooms and a unique lemon crème that made the whole dish sing. The mussels were enormous, served in a spicy tomato broth so delicious you'll want to finish it with a spoon. Just when you think it can't get any better, dessert arrives. Homemade, gourmet, and prepared right at your table--and somehow it doesn't feel gimmicky at all. It's genuinely spectacular. The surprise hint of Nutella hidden beneath the delicate finger cookies takes it completely over the top. And if you love eggplant parmigiana, theirs is top of the line. The portions are hearty, the prices are surprisingly reasonable for the quality and experience, and the atmosphere is made for a romantic night out. One warning: make your reservation in advance. Pane y Vino gets packed, and once you experience it, you'll understand why.

First impressions matter, especially in a restaurant, and this was not a professional welcome. Once seated, our waiter seemed to have very little knowledge of the menu. We had to call him three times, and eventually another server came over, but communication was difficult because they spoke very little English. The food was equally disappointing. The prosciutto was sliced incredibly thick--more like a steak than traditional prosciutto. Anyone familiar with Italian cuisine knows that prosciutto should be cut paper-thin. It was clear that the staff did not know how to prepare or serve it properly. Overall, poor service, lack of product knowledge, and improperly prepared food made this a disaster of a dining experience. I would not return.
