Have been to this location for 3 birthday parties now. It's located in an easy to industrial looking building that houses many small businesses. The parking is limited so something to consider. The staff is generally very young which is probably good since I would say this is a place for very small children's birthday parties. With young people you tend to have a wide range of job quality but I have not found there to have been any issues all three times I was in the location. When you arrive they have a spot for the presents and a place to hang out play until everyone arrives. Once the group is there they require the kids to watch a short video on the rules and safety. There are two rooms they take you through with different "bouncy" type setups. Bouncy houses, bouncy obstacle courses, etc. The kids typically love these areas and the parents generally watch and manage their kids. The time ends with the third room which is food/drink/cake and sing happy birthday. Very sold place to have a birthday party. I have no idea of cost at this point because we have not had our little one's party there. read more

Had a birthday party here. The staff is attentive, and moves the kids along into two very nice arenas. However, the set up of the party room was just OK, and the staff was not careful in helping pack our decorations to go home. Several of them were ruined and squished. Be aware of the pricing and add on's. A party gets very expensive very quickly. The per person price can be quite hefty. Know your options before you sign up. If I could I would rate this with zero stars! I had my toddlers 3 year old party here. What a disaster! I paid for the balloon bash since it sounded so great! I was promised a room full of air filled balloons. There were probably 60 balloons if that. They were supposed to play games and do the glow at the end which they"forgot". How does your best staff member forget? While setting up the party room, the staff managed to smash the front of my daughters princess castle cake. During the food part, we had parents including myself serving because the staff was god knows where. I had to tell them to start serving the cake otherwise we would have run out of time. They knew we had about 40 adults and 32 kids yet there were only plates for about 20 people so they wasted more time scrambling trying to find stuff. Never again would I host a party here! You pay a premium for service, not to come and do it yourself! read more

I just had my son's 6th birthday there and everyone had a great time. They move things a long like a well oiled machine. I only had a few problems that I wasn't too happy about. 1. They told me I could come 20 min. early to help setup the party room. I was there 30 min early because I am a perfectionist and don't trust others to do the job to my satisfaction. Making efforts to have my husband come with our kids separately so that they wouldn't be waiting around while I setup. They wouldn't let me setup. (Mind you we were one of the first parties of the day there so the room wasn't being used.) I asked multiple times when I could setup and they just kept saying someone will come and get you. I paid extra for the star wars and that's what I wanted to see my son doing more than anything. Of course they came and got me right as they were starting that party. I missed the whole thing =( 2. They said yellow plates would be included in our package. When they brought the plates in they said, "We have yellow plates for the kids. Is it ok if we use these white plates for the adults?" (They were cheap white crappy, ugly plates you would use in your house & then white styrofoam plates to serve cake for everyone.) When I specially asked them what color plates were included in my package it would have been nice to know that they only had them for the kids and not the adults too and that it was just for the pizza and not the cake...I would have brought my own. 3. The pictures that were included in my package were a little disappointing. Luckily my friend took pics for me that saved the day. I think I would have cried if I didn't have the pics my friend took. 4. I used to work the kids party circuit in High School at Cal Elite. I was appalled when I got home from Pump It Up to find they couldn't spare the 30 seconds it would have took to wash the serving knife. I would have NEVER sent someone home with a knife in their cloth bag with cake and frosting all over it. Other than that it was a great party & I WOULD recommend it. JUST be RIDICULOUSLY thorough when going over the details and don't bother with the photo package. read more

Recently attended a birthday party for my co-workers daughter and was my first time at any Pump It Up location. Have to say I was quite impressed with the place. First the pros: - Very Clean facility which is hard to accomplish when you have 50-60 slimers, grimers and other types of kids were germs can spread like wild fire - VERY customer and kid friendly staff! I could imagine wanting to blow my head off as an employee but the staff here knew how to get kids attention and keep them entertained and happy in a positive manner. No moping employees here. all smiles. Also when I arrived I was assisted immediately and was directed to my party. - One room had 5 or so blow up jump houses with a variety of activities. Big slides, octagonal jump houses, foam shooting canons, etc all under DJ effect lighting and glowsticks made for a cool environment. - Efficient birthday organization and event handling made for a smooth birthday party with no waiting and none of that sense of "what's next?" - When inquiring about the party packages, it seemed pretty reasonable pricing for what is included. Ive seen other non-affiliated companies charge about $100 - $150 more for the same. Cons: - This location is part of an industrial complex so it takes a little looking to see the location as they only have signs on the suite itself. Not completely visible as its slightly hidden by trees. - The pizza that was served wasn't very good but man was I hungry anyway. Not sure if it was ordered by Pump It Up as part of the birthday package or if the birth kid's parents made that choice. read more

I had my daughter's fifth birthday party here last summer and it was such a painless, smooth process. I scheduled it a few months in advance because I knew I would be busy with a newborn and wouldn't be able to manage planning/hosting a party on my own. The staff was very professional and helpful. They called ahead of time to finalize details of the party and answer my questions. On the day of the party we just had to show up (and I chose to bring some food and cupcakes, but I could've left that to them as well) and they handled everything. The employees stayed with us the entire time and managed the guests, while ensuring the kids all had fun and everybody kept to a precise schedule. They took care of setting up the food, etc., and gave me an opportunity to provide input before transferring the guests to the party room (where the food is). When it was all over they helped us load the gifts in our car and we left without having to worry about cleanup. Easy peasy. When my little one is old enough we will definitely be having her party here. In the meantime we love coming here for open jump playdates. There is even a toddler area where my baby can climb around while her big sister jumps. read more

Went for my daughter's classmate birthday, pretty big playground and sure thing will be able to facilitate lots of kids + parents. BUT, not enough seating for parents that's for sure, only couple available. And also, no food served for the parents (at least the party that we went to), should have this considered by the management, instead of having parents staring at their kids having their lunch. Beware. Very bad policy with booking a party here. Our party was cancelled due to COVID-19 shelter in place closure and the owner will not refund my $200.00 deposit. Their policy states that all deposits are non-refundable and if YOU have to change the date you will be subject to changing fees but there isn't language if THEY have to cancel the party on the date you booked it for. The owner only offered to give me credit to throw another party at a later date but 1) we aren't going to throw a makeup birthday party due to the current COVID-19 conditions 2) there is no guarantee this business will be here in 2021 so if they ever closed we wouldn't be able to use our $200.00 credit. In summary, they took our $200.00 for a party that was scheduled on a date that they had to be closed and instead of doing the right thing and giving the deposit back, they are taking the money and running. Very bad business and I will be posting this review on every website I can so people can think twice before booking with this shady owner. read more

Great place to take the kids and get their wiggles out. I like this location better than the Irvine one. This place has really good deals on open jump and is much cheaper than Big air trampoline. This is my kids favorite place to jump. The free wifi is a real bonus. The staff is good. Update from 5 to 4 stars . They got rid of WIFI which is a bummer. Part of why I went there was access to WIFI so I could get things done while my kiddos jumped. read more

This place is fantastic!! We had our sons 4th birthday party over the weekend and it was absolutely amazing. We had 25 kids including the birthday boy and all the kids had the time of their life. The staff was wonderful as soon as we pulled up two staff members walked out to the car to help us unload the items we brought for decoration. Inside some of our guest had arrived already and where check in, they were nice enough to blow up some balloons for the kids to be entertained while the rest of the party arrived. All 3 staff member introduced themselves to me and let me know if I needed anything let them know. We were moved to the first room where the kids had a blast jumping, running, sliding all over the place. The staff also interacted so well with our guest/kids keeping them entertained and playing games. We then were moved to the second room which I felt was brilliant (that way the kids didn't get bored in one room)!! The second room was amazing too, the kids especially loved the fact they could shoot balls at each other!! We added the ballon blast experience to our party which was a hit...what kid doesn't love balloons :) Before it was time to move to the dinning room a staff member came and asked me if everything looked good to me. They did an excellent job decoration the room, table and had all the food set up (we ordered Pizza and sandwhichs from Moutain Mikes) it was delish!! We also ordered ice cream cake from Baskin Robbin and it was delivered making things that much easier!! I have to say- We have had parties at other Pump it Up locations and this Lake Forest Location managed to impress me with the attention and interaction from the staff. The staff members organized some fun games for the kids that I had never seen at other locations. It was really great. I did not expect that. I took my kids to a birthday party at this location recently and was very impressed with everything! The kids got to play in two different rooms before going to the party room for pizza and cake. There was a good variety of moon bounces in each room and the employees really go out of their way to make it a special experience for the kids. Meredith and Haley helped during the party and kept everyone happy. Meredith even helped my little guy put his sock back on! Its definitely a good spot to have a kids party!! read more

At first I was worried that my contact looked like she was still in high school. However I quickly changed my mind when she started giving me suggestions regarding my party. How much food to order, etc. Every single one of the staff is friendly and competent. I also had to change my food order the day of the party. Absolutely no problem and there were no change fees. I paid $750 and it was waste of money. Party organizer didn't know even which packages I have purchased and keep telling me if you want photos you have to pay and I already paid for. I ended up to a very low quality photos. When I mentioned some kids are special needs and please be patient to them, rep in jumping arena hardly tried to not to laugh, very rude. Party favors received when we were looking for party organizer for 15 minutes and half of guests left. They didn't allow me to come to front office and pay them and gave me the bill in the party room. I have been asked to come 20 min early to setup the room and never allowed to go to the room. I went to arena at the time that other guests went in there and they allowed me to go in party room 10 minutes before kids get there. Setup was awful. Party organizer almost didn't do anything and was on my way all the time to do the things. She just gave one slice of pizza to kids thank you for doing this, party organizer!! read more

Great place for a five year olds birthday party! The staff was fantastic they helped keep kids having fun and took pictures as they played (you get after from a website). The way they move from room to room keeps kids entertained and moving. Nice for parents to visit too because kids are playing in room and can easily see them. They did have a few machines out of order but kids didn't notice. The eating is at the end of the party- I do wish we had about 15 min longer in this area maybe taken from prior 2 rooms. All in all they do a great job, super easy for parents, clean and most of all kids loved it!!! Make sure to bring or order waters and add to the rooms- you and kids will need it! Came here for the first time today for summer open jump. Our family loved it especially my 3 year old daughter. Sydney was a amazing employee who helped my daughter get comfortable along with her other coworker who invited all the kids to do games and participate. The whole place is clean and well organized the only thing I would complain about is the lighting. In some parts of one room it was dark so we couldn't see as much, but other than that we are definitely coming back! read more
