Had my daughter's birthday party there yesterday. The location was great. I loved the arenas. What I didn't like is our party coordinator. She was nice there was not a problem there but the way the party room was set up seemed like barely any effort put into it. The water bottles were still in the packaging. I took two cute three tier stands for the cupcakes and the cupcakes were not placed on them. Even the juice boxes were not out. I had to ask for them. She asked me after we were all in the room if I wanted her to put the cupcakes on the stands still but there was no point anymore. The point was for her to do it before we got to the room. We were the only party that day and she was barely in the arenas so I don't understand how everything wasn't done properly. I would have rather just set it up myself if I would have known it was going to be set up in that way. I've had better experiences at the pump it up in concord. They set up everything great and are very attentive. Also the pizza was awful. In the concord location they cater from round table. Not sure where this pump it up caters from but it was not good. For the price definitely not worth it. Spent almost $800 for that? Would not have the party there again after that and would not recommend this location to friends. Overall good experience. They do everything for you so that you can just focus on the guests and having a good time. The reason I give a 3 star rating is because we added in the special guest appearance and the glow party and I didn't feel it was worth it. Elsa was friendly, but I and the other parents found the costume itself a bit creepy (see photo included in post). Elsa also didn't stay in the food room with us to sing happy birthday like advertised. In the first room, the glow in the dark lighting was good and you were still able to monitor the kids when the lights were turned down. But in the second room it was so dark we had to ask them to turn the lights back on. So we basically got 15 minutes of glow time. read more

Wow. I'm so impressed by how serious the young employees (high schoolers?) took their jobs here - they were polite, respectful, attentive, responsible, kind, and very timely! Everything was set up so things moved along smoothly. I liked how the kids were in one activity room together then another bounce room then in the party room for singing, food, and cake. So organized! The bathrooms smelled and items didn't seem organized, but the kids didn't care and had such a blast. Great place to have a kids' birthday party! I wish there was more play time for the birthday party, but I understand how there are other parties, lol. We have attended quite a few parties here. The employees have always been friendly. I notice that when we attend different parties, it is never the same employees. Most employees are high school students; so I am sure there is a high turn over rate. However, they are very friendly and have always been nice and engaging with the children at the parties. I like that we can bring our own socks and not have to purchase overpriced socks like their competitors (mandatory). I am sure we'll be here for more parties in the future. I have checked pricing to see if it is ideal to hold a birthday party for my littles in the future; but, have not committed because the prices are on the higher side (especially on the weekend). Additionally, they require you to purchase all food and beverages through them, so that definitely adds up quickly...my husband has a lot of family in the East Bay and that means there will be too many of us! read more

I really hope I get his name correct I believe it is Cannon. He was so personable, engaging with the crowd and everytime I saw him he had a huge smile on his face. All the parents were impressed with him! So much so I called and spoke to Maggie who is one of the owners who ALSO was so wonderful! Amazing! Had a birthday party here today and it was super easy and fun. Staff was very helpful and took care of everything, you pretty much just need to arrive with a cake. I brought Spider-Man decorations, they put everything together and had the room decorated before we walked in. The playrooms look nice and new. We did the balloon drop and character theme party with Spiderman which was a major hit. Will definitely do another party here. read more

We had our 4 year old grandson's birthday party at the Pump it Up Pleasanton location on Saturday 4/22/2023, a mid afternoon time-slot. The staff, though young, was extremely professional and caring. They took care of everything, checking in with me and explaining what was going to happen next, but allowing us to enjoy the children playing. It was an excellent experience. The lobby, restrooms, play areas, and party room were clean and tidy. I did read one reviewer, who had a party on the same day, say the restroom smelled, we didn't notice that. There was a paper towel mess on the floor of the ladies room when we arrived but on my next visit to the ladies room the mess had been cleaned up. I do agree that some of the play areas with blocks and such were in a little disarray but the kids didn't notice and jumped in to the play...I think the disarray may have been part of the fun. I don't know if there were missing air hockey pucks, but both kids and parents were playing. The only "missing" item that I noticed was a basketball for the little basketball hoop...but one of the other kids may have picked it up and carried it into a bounce house. There were things to occupy the littlest ones (1 1/2) to the oldest (age 9). Everyone had a great time! read more

This place is awesome for little kids. We went to an open play time and it wasn't super packed. Parents don't have to pay, but must sign the waivers if they want to participate. The first room (Room B) has some inflatables that are decent, but I was a little disappointed because I thought that's all there was for $16. It's not bad, with like a huge jump house and a pillared jump course and a netted climb. Then they bring you to Room A. It has one of those huge slides, obstacle course, and a basketball type jump house. Most kids gravitate towards the huge slide since you can get some speed on it. If you signed up for the pizza one, then they have you pizza and juice at the last ten minutes. Pretty neat way to run the part of the day with your kids. read more

Super clean pump-it-up location with private party rooms. We attended a 5th birthday party and it was perfectly pitched. The 1st private room(orange) was huge , clean and vibrant. It had a huge bouncy castle. After 40 minutes we moved to the green room which was even bigger with bigger slide, bigger bouncy castle , bigger everything. This establishment is NOT a great place to host a birthday AT ALL!!! It was horribly rushed for both children and adults. I cannot fathom the fact that we had paid for a designated time and end, but they sent us into the party room late, meaning we did not even get to use all of our hours or minutes to the full extent that WE PAID FOR!! They made what it seemed to be a happy day feel full of pressure and rush. They constantly mentioned that we had to be "QUICK", even rushing the happy birthday song. Not only that but the staff was incredibly unprofessional! Our event coordinator, Abby, rushed us out of the room and began to spray disinfectants EVERYWHERE despite the fact that people were still trying to leave the room, and as a result she sprayed people who were in our party and belongings that we had in the room. She did not apologize despite being confronted. This place does not even allow time allotted for decorations. To sum it up this place is VERY RUSHED! If you would like to celebrate a birthday in similar fashion it would be best to do it at a park. read more

We've been here a couple times for my niece's birthday and I have to say it's much cleaner than other locations. That alone, gets all my votes! We also went on a weeknight so it was a much slower pace there, but it just made it a better experience. The staff who tended to her party were very attentive and always taking photos of the kids. The rest of the stars go to Kuba who was the attendant in the party room. He kept the flow of the party going. He was organized and stayed on top of the itinerary. The playtime was good. Kids had fun and the person helping was around most of the time. They forgot to show the pictures on the TV in the party room during meal time, I felt rushed to get out when time was up and they also forgot to serve the fruit tray that I ordered and paid for. When I remembered about it the next day, I called them and asked if I can get a refund. The person who answered said that they cannot and just offered a pass for a child. She also informed me that all the fruit trays were gone from the fridge when she got there and she wasn't around the day before to confirm what I said. I felt that she was implying that I was lying about it. After I spent all that money for a 2 hour party, I will lie to try and get 30$ back from them? That was very rude and insulting. read more

Pump It Up is one of the better options in the tri-valley if you want to throw a party for your kids. We have been here a few times over the years, and twice in the last month, including a birthday party we hosted for our six-year old. The staff at Pump It Up is excellent, and the process is very well organized - taking all the pressure off the parents. Hosts get their own designated parking spot right out front, and there is ample parking for guests. After checking in at the front desk, parents/guardians sign a waiver for their young charges using one of three touch screen tablets in the front lobby, and then are allowed to proceed into the first play room. This room has several inflatable and interactive play structures, including a basketball court/boxing ring with giant gloves (fun for adults and kids!), a slide one gets to the top of by climbing through three levels of netting, and a giant Kinect system that's a magnet for toddlers! After forty minutes in the first room, the party moves into the second play room. This features several play structures, including a vertical climbing wall with two staff-supervised belays and a WORKING bell on top that my older daughter adores, a slide one gets to by climbing three successively taller climbing walls that's my younger daughters favorite, and of course, the GIANT slide that no kid in the party can stay off of! Each of the two play rooms has places to store shoes, benches for weary adults, and LOW water fountains. Each room also has one game each that guests need to pay for - an air hockey table in the first room that takes 3 quarters per round and a hurricane booth in the second that costs $2 per ride. A little disappointing that these are not included in the package - during our daughters birthday party, the hurricane booth was especially popular and I was annoyed that some of our guests had to pay out of their own pockets (I paid whenever I was in the vicinity and kids wanted to go in). After forty minutes in the second play room, everyone puts on their shoes and moves into the party room. This has an inflated throne at one end for the birthday kid, two long tables with benches for the other kids, and seating along the walls for adults. There is also a screen in one corner which projects all the pictures the Pump It Up staff have been taking throughout the party (hosts can buy these and distribute to their guests for $20). The staff also take care of serving all the cake, drinks and food (we ordered a veggie tray and eight large pizzas - four cheese pizzas for the kids and four large multi-topping pizzas - including spicy tandoori chicken and vegetarian paneer - for our party which had about 25 kids and 25 adults). After another forty minutes in the party room, it's hand-out-the-gift-bags-and-say-goodbye time. The staff helps hosts pack up all leftovers and bundle up presents (which have been collected in a bin clearly marked with the birthday kid's name) and will even help you to your car. Excellent service all around! So next time you're thinking of organizing a birthday party for your child, take a look at what Pump It Up has to offer. It made for one of the most hassle-free and fun birthday parties we've ever thrown, and I wish you the same experience. read more

I have been to this place many times. Last week was my son's 8th birthday party and I regret booking this place. The customer service has gone way down. The ice machine, filtered water, hurricane simulation machine, and other equipment are broken. They only serve tap water and no ice claiming they are broken. At the same time, they did not allow even a soda or juice for our thirsty guests. The place just wants to make fast money and shove their guests from room to room without proper services. The crew was young 16-year-old (or similar) kids which is fine but they did not care at all about customer service. One worker there was actually playing with the balls and other toys while he was working and helping us. The management here has gone way down. They are so strict on what you can't bring in but they don't offer many alternatives. I will NOT BE BACK. read more

This place deserves to get 5 stars if it were for just for the facility itself for its amenities, food, affordability, accessibility or cleanliness. It got a 3-star review for how helpful, courteous or accommodating its staff was. We had booked for a private party on a Friday evening (Deluxe 15 kids) with Bubblmania and Snapshot as add-ons. Here's what they fell short on. - 80% of the Photos were awful - We had to remind the coordinator that we had the bubblemania added into our event 3 times and were still forgotten - In the party room, after the cake was cut, it was snatched away without even letting us cut a piece out of it to feed the birthday kid. - The coordinator had to reminded for every single thing (Plates, Spoons, Cups). After all this, they were expecting a hefty tip, let alone any tip. read more

This is the best birthday party place in Bay Area. We just threw a birthday party for our little one. Kids and parents had a blast for two hours. We got lots of compliments from our guests. Despite our concerns, our party was a huge success. The staff was attentive and made every effort to ensure all was perfect. They did an awesome job.  From the beginning to the end, the staff took care of everything. We relaxed and spent the whole time with kids and other parents. After check-in, kids spent 40 minutes at each arena and moved to a party room. It was pretty amazing to be able to have a private party with our guests without any distractions. On top of that, the owner, Walter sent us prompt responses regarding all my inquiries via email and phone. Walter and his staff were extremely kind and helpful. We'll definitely throw our another party there soon and would highly recommend this venue for any birthday party----amazing! read more

Last weekend I took my family there and was surprised half the people weren't wearing masks!!! Look, I don't like wearing masks either but I do because it's the law and I reappear others around me. I'm talking about 8+ year old kids AND FEW ADULTS were not wearing masks!! We asked the teenage employees to tell the mask less ppl to wear them but they were too scared to ask or something. After asking 2 times the employees didn't even bother to ask the customers to please wear a mask. We left after the first 5 minutes. We asked for a refund to the owner and got it. I'm sure you're seeing this post right now and it's ridiculous anyone should have to go through this at a time like this.. if you're going to open up a business during this pandemic then I suggest YOU and your teenage employees take it a bit more serious! Didn't even bother to offer anything or apologies for wasting our time. So now that you know, please be careful if you decide to go to this place. Good luck! UPDATE**** In response to your comment, the two older kids were 10 and 8, remaining 4 kids were 5 or under. My 7 year and 2 year olds were wearing masks. We would of gladly gave it another shot but it seems like you don't care for our business so it's okay. We had my son's birthday party here and we had lots of fun. The staff members were very attentive and made sure the kids were safe. The play area was clean and the whole process was very well coordinated. The food was pricey and tasted only ok (they get their food from a pizza place so you will need to set your expectations accordingly). The staff set up the food nicely and passed out pizza and cake. They let you bring your own chips, candy, bottled water and cake. Reserving the party and ordering food online was easy. Overall it was a great experience (thanks to the staff) and the kids had fun. I really really like these Entertainment Centers where you can host your kid's birthday parties. They have so many of them now a days, Chuck E Cheese, The Jungle, Super Franks, but the one place that is so simple (that the founder must be laughing all the way to the bank), yet so fun for the kids is Pump It Up. Now all it is are a bunch of jumps for an hour and 20 min and a 40 min Pizza party and off you go. No cleaning necessary, the gifts are put away in a nice bag for you, and your $700 poorer. The Pump it Up in Pleasanton has a little bit more to offer than other Pump it Up we've been to. They also have Rock Climbing for the kids (adult can do it too) and this thing that's strapped to your thigh and hips and bounces you around and you do multiple flips (sorry I don't know what it's called) that the kids totally enjoyed. The place is also very clean and the staffs are pretty friendly. I think this Pump it Up is smaller than the other Pump it Ups, but it accommodated 25 kids and the parents just right. But if you're planning for more kids than 25 then I suggest looking for a different place. Where were these places when I was growing up? Man! When I was growing up all we had was musical chairs and a piñata with some god awful candies and my parents STILL took my birthday money away. read more

Our daughter had her 5th birthday today. She was ecstatic and so were her guests. All the kids had a great time. And the the parents were relaxed knowing that the entire place was safe for kids to jump around. As the hosts, we appreciated the staffs' efficient way of managing the preparation and the flow of the event. We really liked how we could just enjoy spending time with family and friends, who have joined to celebrate with us. And best of all, we didn't have to clean up! It was good that they offered pictures that their staff took during the event. And that they showed it in the party room while the guests were having their pizza and drinks. But I would've preferred not just close up shots of the kids, but also candid shots that showed how the kids and adult guests were enjoying themselves. It would've also been good to have photos taken in the party room and maybe a video lol clip of the birthday singing. Nonetheless, I like how they had the snapshot option. With the number of guests we had, we barely had time to capture the moments. Great job guys! read more

I am very dissapointed. I have three little ones who enjoy Pump It Up. We actually have been going here for a while. I will say the staff is friendly. However, I would not buy any vouchers from them. We often get the Groupon pass becuase we have such a bug family and it makes sense. However do not buy their passes, they do not honor them. We booked online and reserved 3 spots for their jump time. When we went in the establishment we were turned away. We were informed that the system bumped us off and replaced ournspots for newcomers that had paid online. In other words, even if you prepaid for a pass, it doesn't matter. That is not priority to them becuase they already have your money. There isnt anything on their website that warns you. And quite frankly, it is not okay to do that. We rightfully reserved out spots. We did wall away with one free pass, which I had three spots reserved and 3 kids crying. My 3 kids were heartbroken. When I wanted to resolve the issue, I emailed the customer service and received one phone call back simply stating that I was probably late. (WHICH WAS NOT CASE). instead of taking responsibility, they tried to blame their customers. I want to make everyone aware. I tried to resolve the issue, but I was ignored. read more

We went in because we purchased groupon. Good and bad about this place. My first impression of this place. Pros & Cons 1. The staffs were friendly, would check on the kids on bouncers and slides. 2. Clean, not the best but okay. 3. No food service. 4. Expensive for $9 a kid. Not a whole day play with one price. Only 1.5 hours play time. 5. All age groups mixed in the same area. Not safe for younger ones even with assistants around. 5. We came in early, but seems like the restroom are not being cleaned everyday. Papers were not refilled. 6. Very very small to compare with bounce a Rama and super franks. Only two arena rooms with 3 slides, 2 rock climbers (not for younger kids), 3 bouncers and an interactive TV. My almost 4-years-old got bored in 30 minutes. 7. Different opening schedules everyday. 8. It was only a few kids there. But didn't have story time as scheduled. read more

Fun for the whole family. My brother and I took my niece here when she was visiting. Who would've thought we'd all have such a great time and a great workout jumping all over the place? I realized how out of shape I really am after stopping by here. $9 will get you and a kid in. Boring for the parents, but oh so fun for the kids! I've been to several Pump it ups over the years (various birthday parties) and they never fail to be a blast. For the kids, that is. And the upside for the parents is that your kid has a great time and uses up all of their energy, and if you are the ones hosting, your house does not get trashed at the end of it. This particular location had two different party rooms with plenty of bouncy fun. I've been at other locations where the number of bouncers seemed a bit more limited. We had our daughter's birthday party here in Jan. The process was very easy! You go in pick a date they the rest of the process can be completed online or in person. The staff from the person booking the party to the attendants for the party were great. Our little one and her friends had an amazing time. They want to go back right away!
