The place doesn't look like much on the outside but is actually quite nice, large and clean on the inside, as well as nicely decorated to suit the Indian theme. Prices are moderate and they have a lunch combo for $10.95 pp and you get more than you can eat. Now for why I gave them 3 s: - The waiter didn't even say hello- handed us the limited lunch menus and left - Gave us water and never asked us if we would like anything else, had to specifically request a drinks menu and had to flag him down to place drinks orders. - The waiter wore a long sleeve shirt with the wrist parts turned up and flared out. It dragged into my cup and when I asked for a new glass of water cause his sleeve went in it- well you'd swear I cursed at him On top of all that- the food was bland

I have been eating at Punjab for 20 years and have never been disappointed. Don't let the motel next door fool you, Punjab makes excellent food. My go tos are their vegetable curry and chicken tikka masala. Best in Boca.

Went with a very large party and they were very accommodating! Service was attentive and fast! I do feel like the tandoori chicken and shrimp were a bit over cooked , as was the bottom of the naan. They do have a full bar which is a plus.

Delicious flavorful food ! Fresh too ! Friendly welcoming service with parking on the side of the restaurant. Looking forward to going back to try more food.

I haven't been to Punjab restaurant in a few years and I had fond memories of my experiences there. That's changed, a lot. This restaurant is a shadow of itself. The waiter brings a small bowl of Chinese noodles and tamarind sauce, the shocked look on my face. What happened to the papadam ? Now they charge for papadam and think that Chinese noodles is an adequate replacement ? The veg somosa was good. Crunchy shell stuffed with well mashed tators and peas. I ordered the papadam and it was ok. Very lightly cooked, but still tasty. The entrees were hideous. Shrimp masala and butter chicken. The chicken was dry like shoe leather and the shrimp were so over cooked and rubbery my mom couldn't even chew them. The garlic naan was good and the sauces were also good. The rice, was a soggy, flavorless pile of yuck. Long gone is the saffron flavor or coloring. All in all the experience was pretty bad and I most certainly won't be back. Good luck if you try Punjab restaurant.

Lunch Special Review. Food was good, it was like a chicken masala. Good and spicy! Great Naan, and rice. Shame about the country club musty smell in the restaurant. A great price at $8.95! Love this place, but not a 5*.

So many places in the area are mediocre at best, which made finding this gem such a pleasant surprise. We started with the samosas and the chili chicken appetizer (which my husband and I shared), and both were outstanding. For dinner, I had the Chicken Tikka Masala with garlic naan, and my husband ordered the Chicken Korma. Every single dish was packed with flavor, perfectly prepared, and some of the best Indian food we've had anywhere--not just in South Florida. The service was exceptional from start to finish. The staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The restaurant itself is also beautifully decorated, creating a wonderful atmosphere that elevates the entire dining experience. This place deserves all the recognition it can get. Honestly, if Michelin stars were awarded based solely on flavor, hospitality, and consistency, they'd be in the conversation. We will absolutely be back, and I can't wait to bring friends and family here. Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5

It is a no thrills place, where everything is served for take out and plastic cutlery etc. The reason for my five stars was for the food. It was really, really good. I sampled their thali lunch, which I was also pleased to note was still offered on a Sunday. I missed the lunch price as I arrived after the 3 o'clock cut off. However I was still allowed to sample it and paid an elevated 16.99 price. My meal consisted of a chicken tikka masala, a vegetable korma side dish, basmati rice, a freshly made naan and a mini dessert. They had quite a few choices for the meat dish and also the veg side dish. If I was in the area again, I would definitely come back.

It turned out to be a good enough stop that my husband said he'd put into our "rotation"! They have thali/combination plates on a lunch special for only $14.99. They included your choice of spice level, an entree, a side, plus naan bread, basmati rice, and dessert (rice pudding). That's what we both selected. My husband had their lamb curry at a medium spice level and vegetable korma as his side. He said the curry was very good. And the vegetable korma which he'd never had before, he also liked. This side had mixed veggies including onions in a creamy tomato sauce with cashews and raisins. He siad he'd get this meal exactly as is, again. I had their chicken tikka masala. I chose mild spice level -- I do this when trying a new spot, just in case it's too peppery. As it turned out, I could have gone to medium. If you don't like any spice at all, is for you. I like a touch. I even tried some of the sauces on the side to give it a bit of a kick. And I was brought some tamarind and some mint sauces to also try. For my side, I chose their Bombay potatoes. Although they were supposed to have curry and other spices, they, too, were fairly plain. The naan bread was freshly baked. And had a great flavor. Each entree is cooked to order. You can watch them in the kitchen combine the ingredients. No buffet line with food sitting around here. And you can definitely taste the difference. This is a small casual restaurant. You order and pay at the counter cashier. There is a small counter and a couple two tops and a couple four top tables. The staff was friendly and helpful. And we are already planning on returning.

The staff is wonderful and attentive, whether they are busy or not everyone comes over and checks on every table, refilling water as needed and asking if they could bring anything else. Restaurant was a pleasant experience overall, we were a group of 4 and everyone enjoyed their food. The portions are fairly large and we ended up with leftovers. If your looking for good Indian food in Delray this is it.. They have a wide variety covering both North and South Indian cuisines and even have some street style apps I wasn't expecting.

Reviews from Elite and verified users seem more realistic at 3 and 4. We looked into going but, despite being in a mall with a predominance of medical aid clinics (an ophthalmologist, a pain management center, etc.) the eatery is not handicap-accessible and the buffet style is certainly not accommodating. Also, they don't currently have menus on their website nor menus to peruse if you walk in. The buffet itself did not have enough of a variety to seem enticing. As such, and since one of our party had vision issues and required a walker, we simply moved on.
