It comes with several fried dough flatbread made fresh and served warm with different halwa to eat it with- I mostly enjoyed the chickpea one! Definitely a standout item. * Papdi Chaat & Samosa Chaat - Decent, I'd rate them 3.5/5. The flavors are there but could be better. * Halwa Puri - One of the better ones I've had in Miami, though not the best overall. * Zinger Burger - A solid 3.5/5, crispy and flavorful. Big fans of the original Khan Baba location in Plantation. This location has a different, smaller menu and service is alright. We came here for iftaar one day (a little late, our fault) and basically stood at the counter for 15min without anyone offering anything and then we decided to just leave. Their chaat is very good and chicken Tikka was juicy. Not a bad place for a quick bite, but I'd recommend the Plantation location if you're looking for falooda and other variety of food (and better service). read more

We may have driven by 'Khan Baba' (Palm Avenue & Taft) maybe over a dozen times but never thought it was a restaurant as the name didn't suggest so. On Sunday, March 5, 2023, our curiosity got the better of us. We were pleasantly surprised that this was a newly opened Indian/Pakistani cuisine restaurant (2 months old). As we entered, we found that pretty much everyone was ordering the Halva Puri. For $4.99 who could go wrong, right? So we did too. The dish is basically semolina pudding (halva) and 2 fried flatbreads (puri) served with a little potato curry and garbanzo curry. We loved it. We also tried the Tandoori Chicken leg and a paratha. The paratha was a little different from the ones we'd eaten at other restaurants however, we liked both. We did a takeout of Chicken Biryani (delicious, but would've loved it if it was a larger portion). Today (Wednesday) I tried their lunch special of $9.99 Chicken Korma with 2 chapattis. Once again, delicious, hit the right spot. This restaurant is run by Asad and his wife/chef Sadia. They do strive to exceed expectations. Overall, in my opinion, the food quality is very good, and the service, great. This is definitely a welcomed change to the Indian/Pakistani restaurant scene in Pembroke Pines. I have a list of what I have experienced today: 1) The staff was not properly dressed. -Dress code- 2) The lady who took my order wasn't be able to answer my questions, however, she had to call the manager -Restaurant partner- The manager was not helpful and she focused on trying to sell me more food instead of satisfying what a single person would eat. 3) The manager- Restaurant partner- got the rest of my order and when I got the food, the special drink I ordered was not made properly as it lacks to the main ingredient I asked for and specified. 4) Me as a restaurant manager for 7 yrs making up to 14k per day, I wanted to learn something from the owner by asking him how could he manage paying the rent with this food quality and service... My order was Mutton Byriani It only had three bites of meat and the rest was pure rice. And the meat was dark not fresh, food has been warmed up and previously cooked. -Not cooked per order- Rice was not fresh, it was dry because of being preheated. So when I asked the lady about how it's possible to survive with this service, she said that she is busy cooking a thousand dollar food and she can't leave it for sometime which confirmed that the food was precooked. And she was offended by my question. Then when I convinced her that I wanted to ask her for her own benefit she took a second and then replied, you are here to eat the food and if not, I don't want to listen She didn't even bother asking me what is the issue is the food or the service.... She is not willing to listen and improve. Biryani was stale with no resemblance to what it should be. Chicken was hard and dry. Ordered rooms roti which is in the menu but they don't make it. Instead of one roti, extra naan was sent and charged for. Chicken noti kabab. Just some morsels of dry hard chicken without any marinade, served with onions on side. Save your money and time. I saw this place on the way home from work and decided to stop in. I always look forward to eating at Pakistani restaurants because they are so hard to come by in south Florida. When I entered there was not a soul in sight neither was there any staff. I grabbed a menu and a gentleman came out the back and greeted me. Asked if I had any questions and then walked off to the back, the menu is very simple, the smell of establishment wasn't really the most pleasant either. Ordered Bun kebab which was a decent size has no shrunk to a really small size & costs $9.99 for a dal kabab. My advise is not to go there. The food is subpar compared to their plantation location and they bring the food on plastic plates. However what made me upset is that they charged the %15 tip TWICE on our bill which I did not notice until we left there. They did not bring a receipt to the table so I paid at the register. It turns out they add the 15% tip automatically when you are more than two people, which is fine, however it appears she added the tip again on top of the automatic gratitude. The food and service is good but the prices are through the roof and they keep increasing. They just increased their prices for a small, regular size paratha to $5. It was $3 a few months ago, when they first opened and then they increased it to $4. Next month it will probably be $6. The prices for everything on the menu keeps increases. From the chai to the curries to the chicken. It's ridiculous and not worth it. Sometimes not having an affordable price point is what causes the downfall of a good restaurant. I'm not sure where to start. This is absolutely the WORST Pakistani restaurant I've ever been to in my life and probably the worst restaurant period. We decided to take our Fathers here for Father's Day lunch and it ended up being a costly mistake. First of all, the prices are outrageous, you would think you're eating at some high end restaurant near the beach. We started with some samosas that came back still frozen inside. Yes, frozen like a samosa sherbet. So we told them, and they went and "refried" them, returned with the same half bitten samosa , didn't even have the decency to bring a new one, and one of the samosas was STILL cold inside. Oh and by the way no one ever bought us plates, every order was bought to the table in PAPER PLATES, and no utensils ever made it to the table either. Also, we ordered sodas and mango lassi that never made it to the table as well. Next, the kebabs chicken and beef, the absolute worst kebabs I've ever had in my life. Zero flavor low quality frozen restaurant Depot status kebabs. The Nihari was horrendous, the meat was not tender at all and outrageously spicy, AND that's right you guessed it, the god damn Nihari was cold inside as well. Clearly nothing is made fresh and everything is precooked at this place. None of the entrees come with naan, which is supposed to be standard. I can go on and on about how bad the food sucks at this restaurant and how shitty the service was but you get the picture. Save yourself the debacle, and do not go here. read more

This place serves some truly authentic food. Nihari, Haleem with Naan was ahhmazing. Tandoori chicken was yummm too.

This place is the worst restaurant I've been to in Florida. I visited this restaurant twice in the same week, I should've got the message from the first visit but unfortunately I gave them a second chance. First they have items on their menu that they don't even serve such as malai boti. second the naans were old and stale, they tasted like they'd been left out on the table for 2 days and reheated before served to me. finally the seekh kababs I tried the beef as well as chicken which I'm almost certain are just bought frozen from a store and then heated up in the restaurant and really salty at that. hands down the worst seekh kebabs I've had at any restaurant. lastly I'll add theyre a bit pricy which would be fine if the food was at least decent. read more
