The workers are sooo sweet and welcoming, they treat you like your family. It's a small restaurant but open late with a menu filled with savory dishes. I like coming here at night to get a falooda or chai.

Coming from Houston (with high desi food standard) we were not disappointed with food and service. We ordered chai, qeema samosas and Chicken Karahi. Everything came within 20 minutes. Karahi was a bit spicy but that's how it's supposed to be! Good small family buisness. The place was clean and inviting. We will definitely stop by again!

We may have driven by 'Khan Baba' (Palm Avenue & Taft) maybe over a dozen times but never thought it was a restaurant as the name didn't suggest so. On Sunday, March 5, 2023, our curiosity got the better of us. We were pleasantly surprised that this was a newly opened Indian/Pakistani cuisine restaurant (2 months old). As we entered, we found that pretty much everyone was ordering the Halva Puri. For $4.99 who could go wrong, right? So we did too. The dish is basically semolina pudding (halva) and 2 fried flatbreads (puri) served with a little potato curry and garbanzo curry. We loved it. We also tried the Tandoori Chicken leg and a paratha. The paratha was a little different from the ones we'd eaten at other restaurants however, we liked both. We did a takeout of Chicken Biryani (delicious, but would've loved it if it was a larger portion). Today (Wednesday) I tried their lunch special of $9.99 Chicken Korma with 2 chapattis. Once again, delicious, hit the right spot. This restaurant is run by Asad and his wife/chef Sadia. They do strive to exceed expectations. Overall, in my opinion, the food quality is very good, and the service, great. This is definitely a welcomed change to the Indian/Pakistani restaurant scene in Pembroke Pines. Will surely be going back to try their other dishes. Thanks for reading

Took to go goat karahi, very under par cooking and flavor. No garnish, doesn't taste like goat karahi

This is some of THE BEST BBQ we have had in a long time!! The brisket and ribs were so tender and flavorful!! The ribs fell off the bone, saucy, simply delicious Fiancé liked the smoked sausage with their BBQ sauce. Coleslaw was definitely tangy, very mildly sweet, and crunchy. The roasted corn was served differently than I expected, but still good! They cut a cob into small chunks which makes them less messy to eat! We are absolutely trying their Mexican street corn next time! The only mild critique I have is about the Mac-n-cheese. IMO way too salty. I asked for black pepper to try to balance it out. They did get some from the kitchen for me, but S&P is kinda a staple so would suggest making it more accessible. The service was phenomenal!! Tony is an incredible chef! The food is genuinely delicious and I would have expected to pay more for the quality of the meal overall!

The Spread: We ordered the brisket, smoked chicken, spare ribs, and baby back ribs -- yes, all four -- on one tray lined with butcher paper. It looked like a BBQ fever dream and tasted even better than it looked. The Meats: The brisket was the standout for me. Smoked over real wood for 12+ hours, hand-carved, pink smoke ring, tender all the way through. The baby back ribs were glazed and meaty with deep smoky flavor, and the spare ribs were thick, juicy, and packed with bold bark. The smoked chicken rounded it all out -- moist, flavorful, never dry. The Sides: Rice and peas with coconut milk -- fragrant and perfectly cooked. The 4-cheese mac was outrageously creamy (I kept going back for more). The sweet and tangy coleslaw was the perfect palate cleanser between bites of rich, smoky meat. The Extras: The 4-pack of sliders was a great add -- soft buns, well-seasoned patties, could easily make a meal on their own. The fries were golden and crispy. And the watermelon lemonade Kool-Aid with berries at the bottom? Refreshing, unique, and the perfect closer to an incredible meal. The Space: Big news for fans of Bare Bones -- they've just opened a brand new storefront next door with about a dozen additional tables and plenty of seating for the whole family. No more eating in your car or rushing home with takeout. You can now sit back, relax, and enjoy that tray of smoked goodness the way it was meant to be experienced. It's a welcome upgrade that somehow makes the food taste even better. This is a family-run operation with over 20 years of food experience and it shows in every detail. Bare Bones isn't just good BBQ -- it's a South Florida treasure.

There wasn't a bad bite of it. They were my favorite. Portions were great. $8.50 for the fried rice is excellent. We also ordered Sago Gulaman and halo-halo. There's an 18% service charge added to the check. Contrary to what a lot of reviews have noted, we weren't required to buy bottled water when we asked for water. We were offered tap water and were not charged. I would love to try the can of calamansi juice next time.

When I tried it, I noticed it wasn't sweet at all, so I asked my husband to go back and let them know. The woman at the register admitted they had forgotten to add the condensed milk. Unfortunately, by the time my husband returned to the car, the halo-halo had become watery from sitting while they corrected the mistake. What upset me most wasn't the mistake itself--everyone makes mistakes. It was the way we were treated afterward. Instead of apologizing, the employee blamed the weather and said, of course, it melted because my husband had taken it outside. She even rolled her eyes and gave us an attitude, as if the situation was somehow our fault. As long-time customers, we expected better customer service. A simple apology and a more courteous response would have gone a long way. I hope management addresses this, because we've always enjoyed coming here and would hate to see customer service decline.
