Absolutely incredible! This is hands down the best Indian food I've had in Florida. The owners are always there and are so welcoming -- you can tell they truly care about their food and their customers. Everything comes out fresh, fast, and full of flavor. My husband had the chicken vindaloo (we went with medium heat since the hot is no joke), and it was perfectly spiced and delicious. We also ordered the garlic naan, which was fluffy, buttery, and a total must-have. I tried something new with a grilled shrimp dish that was amazing, and we added a side of Palak paneer? that was creamy and flavorful. You can taste the freshness in every bite. We stopped by for a late lunch. And luckily were still in time for their lunch buffet. There were a couple other tables occupied, but basically it was quiet. We were given hot from the oven fresh baked naan. And it was delicious. On the buffet, there's one small section with soup and salad. Plus, there were some of the sauces, e.g. tamarind. On the other larger section are all the main dishes. There's a little bit of everything for vegetarians and for non-vegetarians. The buffet offerings vary, but the day we came, these are some of the options that I can remember: butter chicken, curried chicken, and tandoori chicken; basmati rice; rice with vegetables; fried vegetables in a batter; noodles with veggies; a spicy dal; and whole chickpeas. My apologies for not knowing all the correct Indian names for the dishes. And there was dessert, as well -- a very sweet. milky rice pudding. Service was very good -- even though it was a self-serve buffet. The owner checked on us frequently, brought us water, asked if we needed more naan bread, and made sure all was okay. Price wise, it was a very good value. And taste wise, we liked most everything. Some things were a bit spicy for me, but I wasn't complaining. I usually like to take a sample of everything on the buffet to see what I like the first time around. Then I'll go back for the items that are my favorites. Went for the lunch buffet! I loved getting to try options that I normally would not opt for, but the buffet is not overwhelmed with options. We visited Victor's place on a Friday night and there were plenty of parking in the plaza. We got a complimentary cripsy thing to begin with and loved the mini sides it came with, especially the onion one was delicious. We got the cauliflower appetizer which was super hot and fresh when it arrived. We devoured it. The main dishes we chose were chicken tikka masala and lamb vindaloo. Both mild and they were great. Super creamy tikka masala with plenty of chicken. Vindaloo was so rich. Rice was cooked great. Garlic naan was top notch! I have never been to an Indian buffet, this Victor's definitely exceeded my expectations. While not the biggest buffet I've seen, they had a nice variety and it allowed me to try new Indian dishes I wouldn't have tried otherwise. (I'm usually a butter chicken girl.) Came in on Saturday afternoon and was one of two tables dining in. Since it was right after it opened, the food was fresh and hot. There was plenty of options with meat and vegetarian. Most of the dishes was very spicy though. I loved the fried veggies pieces, the chicken was flavorful but a little dry, the chickpea saag was really good, the cabbage dish and the potatoes was both delicious but very spicy. They brought out fresh naan which was great. The curry chicken drumsticks was tender and tasty. Their onion chutney was amazing. Yelp to the rescue when outside your familiar zone. I was at the DMV and Yelp kept me partially sane while figuring out the game-plan during the 45 minute wait. Victor's Indian Palace was closeby on Linton and Congress. Their lunch buffet included a nicely spiced selection of curried chicken, vegetables, and lamb which went great with the naan bread. I eat here frequently, including on weeknights, but Victor's has become my go-to place when I don't want to hassle with Saturday crowds and reservations. The food is home-style authentic, the service is friendly, the menu is extensive, and prices are very reasonable. All in all, the restaurant in one of the best values I've found in South Florida. Victor's Palace is best enjoyed with groups of people, since there are so many great dishes to savor. I love the tandoori menu, including some vegetarian dishes, but this is a great place to go if you've tired of lamb cooked 'Greek'. I prefer highly spiced foods, but if you like it milder, Victor's always gets it just about right. Be sure to try one of their many varieties of nan (bread). It is better than you may be used to, since it is baked properly in a brick oven. I would give this place six stars if I could. read more

What a great find from a yelp search! This was a delicious dinner. We left full and happy AND with leftovers. We went on a Wednesday night and we were surprised how empty the restaurant was. We were one of three tables eating in person at the restaurant the entire time we were there. I think there were also maybe three to go orders the entire time. We ordered the app that had a taste of everything. We loved the onion pakora. For dinner we got the butter chicken and the chicken korma. Both were perfect. We ordered the naan sampler and boy was that a lot of bread! We ate leftover naan for days! I liked the Bollywood music videos that were playing in the background. They are closed on Mondays. We started with Vegetable Samosa, which were huge, with the right amount of crunch without falling apart, and Lasuni Gobhi, cauliflower in a perfect sauce.The Chef's Naan Basket came with four different types of naan, savory and sweet, which were perfect for sopping up the wonderful sauces that were part of our dishes. The restaurant was beautiful and colorful. For about $20/person, I thought this was so worth it for brunch for us. We loved the flavor and the food all tasted pretty fresh. Hands down, one of the BEST Indian restaurants I've been to! Amazing food, great service. Top notch all around. We were visiting Florida, and wanted some good Indian food, so of course I go to trusty Yelp, and this place had great reviews. We came in and were greeted right away, we were sat down instantly. They brought us an array of 3 sauces and chutney to dip our papadum in. I could sit there all day and eat just this yummy snack. We ordered vegetable samosa, gobi manchurian, lamb korma, and goat biryani. The samosa was flaky and crispy on the outside with flavorful filling. The gobi was delicious. The goat biryani was chock full of goat pieces, and deliciously fragrant. The lamb korma was the best I've ever had! We finished our meal with gulab jamun that was cooked to perfection! Soft and moist inside served warm with a sweet syrup. The owner, Victor, came by our table and was the nicest , most humble guy you could meet. Such an amazing place and owner! Fabulous food good service . Only problem was we came in a walk ins the place was not crowded and they would not seat us indoors as we preferred. They said they had reservations from people and they would be coming in. We decided to sit outside. It was fine. The food was fine. The service at this point was fine. However, when we left the restaurant still was not busy they were plenty of seats that we could have sat at. I think they were just keeping them open in case which was quite annoying. I really enjoyed the option of eating a lunch on the weekend buffet. I made a reservation, which was not really necessary, but there was a table waiting for us. We all ordered the $19.99 lunch buffet, which had plenty of hot and cold items, as well as a good variety of vegan and meat servings. The manager was great at explaining the different buffet bar items and telling us what was spicy and what was mild. He even brought us a small bowl of hotter oil sauce, which was good but not as hot as what I had experienced at other Indian restaurants. I felt like I ate just about everything, but my favorites were the chicken tandoori and the goat vindaloo with the cilantro mint sauce and the complimentary naan bread for the table. Service was excellent, and it really felt authentic, like I was in an Indian kitchen with all the great aroma and flavors. The restaurant has a beer and wine bar as well as inside and outside seating. The decor is clean and simple with Indian cloth and fabrics on the tables. I ordered from here for takeout recently and it was not enjoyable. I ordered the chicken korma and it was bland and salty. Didn't have the nutty flavor most other places do and even the color was off. The veggie samosa wasn't bad, but it was spicy which I'm not used to.
