Convenient mobile grooming, though the experience has changed over time. I've been using PuppyLuxe for a few years for our Akita, Kovu, and the biggest benefit has always been the convenience of having a groomer come directly to the house. The original groomers who worked with Kovu did excellent work, and I really appreciated their confidence and attention to detail. Over time, however, the experience has changed. The original groomers are no longer with the company, and the most recent appointment felt a bit different. The groomer who came appeared uncomfortable working with Akitas, even though the breed is listed on our profile. Because of that, a few of the smaller finishing details were missed. For example, he seemed hesitant when applying moisturizer to Kovu's nose and didn't fully address all of the shedding in his double coat, which is an important part of grooming for this breed. The grooming appointment took about two hours, which is typical for a full grooming session. Pricing has also increased since we first started using the service. At this point, the biggest advantage for me is still the convenience of mobile grooming, but I do miss the consistency and confidence of the original groomers who worked with Kovu. read more

Luxury grooming that comes to you! I can't say enough wonderful things about our experience! My sweet girl came back looking absolutely gorgeous thanks to her amazing groomer, Thamires. From start to finish, the care and attention to detail were outstanding. Her bath left her coat soft and clean, her paw pads were moisturized, and she was so happy to get a good de shedding! Wow, she's never smelled so good or felt so soft! But the extra touches really made it special - her pink nails, the adorable rhinestones on her head, and her overall fresh look had everyone stopping us on our walk to compliment her. At first, I liked the groomer, but then I had a different person come and was not happy with the result. It was impossible to contact the office. Phone is disconnected. Email got returned and when they finally responded to me on text, they didn't seem to really care they were like we could send the person back out and that was it would only recommend if you do it once and like the groomer and then keep asking for that person I won't be going back. read more

Puppyluxe groomed by dog and nicked his chest in two areas, and cut off an entire dewclaw. I was not home when they finished, my husband was and he was told they nicked his back leg a little, but he is fine and didn't complain. No mention of cutting off and entire toe. I checked my dog soon after and he was still bleeding, constantly licking his back foot. I cleaned the wounds, wrapped them but still had to take him to the vet twice for infections. .My dog is still fearful of going outside, was shaking continuously for a couple weeks. Thankfully he has healed and maybe 75% back to his normal self. The groomer never checked up on him, i requested a refund, which I am still waiting for. Horrible experience with no sympathy from the company. Only when I inquired about the refund did they ask how he is. I give zero stars, but unfortunately I have to give 1 in order to post read more

Scheduled an appointment for my dog through the website only to get messaged two days later that the groomer available to book didn't service my area and that they would need to reschedule. It was one extra day to wait so I was slightly annoyed but was okay enough waiting the extra day. 4 days after that(the night before the appointment) I get a message that they wouldn't groom huskies and that they cancelled the appointment.
