The rice tasted like it came from a box and was dry. The frijoles looked so bad I didn't even eat them. And the papusas were very greasy.

They have very minimal decorations inside- no music, just a TV on really loud. But many times this type of places are a hit than a miss! (Based on my experience) I ordered a few pupusas and tacos to go and was told the food would be ready in 10 minutes- however it took 35 minutes. it's okay if they are busy but I think they could have just told me at one point it would take much longer than expected. There seemed to be just two people working there. There was someone who was waiting longer than I was. It was very cold inside which did not help when I was waiting for so long. I was disappointed with the wait time, however the pupusas were amazing. The hot sauce and slaw(?) that came with them were great too. I especially liked the one with chicken and cheese. In the future I will always call ahead of time to place an order rather than waiting there, and I advise everyone to do so.

The shrimp pupusas is stuffed with bits of shrimp mixed with a generous amount of creamy cheese. The chicken pupusas was filled with a lot of chicken and small amount of cheese. Both pupusas were excellent. I also had a chicken taco, which was a pretty standard Street taco. The chicken was moist and yummy. The restaurant and parking lot could use some love. The dining room could use a coat of fresh paint and have ceiling tiles repaired. The parking lot needs to have potholes fixed and could use some lines. That said, I'd come back in a heartbeat. The space is full of natural light and welcoming. We noticed that you can order fresh smoothies thanks to their partnership with the juice/ice cream shop next door (or possibly owned by the same folks?).
