The bistec has a really meaty/savory taste and I think best fills the craving for a taco. The texture is also very nice. The tinga was quite tomato-y but was still very good. I also had the salvadorian horchata which is very refreshing and not overly sweet -- also vegan because they make it with water instead of milk. I've tried many things over the years and never had a bad experience. They're my fav tacos in the city and I love ordering from them at the the local farmers markets, too. Definitely recommend!

The first Wednesday I showed up they told me it would be over an hour for my order. I didn't have an hour to wait. They gave me a business card and told me to order ahead of time next week. I called about 2:00 and ordered one of each of the variety that they have. I know there was cheese, bean, bean & cheese and meat. Well there are 6 to choose from and we tried them all. When I arrived at 5:00 to pick up my order it was ready. I paid and headed home to eat with my family. All 6 were in one container and I had no clue which was which. Some of them were very greasy. I had to lay them out on paper towels. The cheese was my favorite. There is a small dining room and a full menu. But on this visit we just tried the special.

The shrimp pupusas is stuffed with bits of shrimp mixed with a generous amount of creamy cheese. The chicken pupusas was filled with a lot of chicken and small amount of cheese. Both pupusas were excellent. I also had a chicken taco, which was a pretty standard Street taco. The chicken was moist and yummy. The restaurant and parking lot could use some love. The dining room could use a coat of fresh paint and have ceiling tiles repaired. The parking lot needs to have potholes fixed and could use some lines. That said, I'd come back in a heartbeat. It doesn't matter," had him pay, and stormed back into the kitchen saying "Next time i will put it in there myself." There wont be a next time, at least not from us.
