I am super grateful to have come across Art's shop for my car repair. Any collision is a high stress situation and mine was no exception - I was rear-ended by an uninsured driver and was unsurprisingly freaking out. Not having been in an accident in 10+ years and not being super educated in general when it comes to insurance processes, I initially planned to cover the cost of repairs out of pocket. I frantically drove around to different Subaru authorized repair centers to get a sense of the damages and what I was looking at cost-wise. Art's estimate came in very reasonably amongst the quotes I received but what set Art apart was his personable nature, and immediate guidance on the insurance process (as thankfully I had uninsured motorist coverage). From start to finish, Art went above and beyond, walking me through each repair step, and throughout the multi week process of acquiring parts, dealing with insurance approvals, etc. he was incredibly communicative and thorough. His attention to high quality work was also highlighted. For example, my insurance had approved used parts, but he used his discount to order new parts at the same cost. Finally reunited with my car, my 2017 subaru crosstrek looks brand new (from behind at least! where the work was done). Not only were Art and team were also able to match the paint perfectly, my car was freshly detailed.   I really can't recommend Art enough - he's an expert in his craft and a super great guy all around. I drove over something on the freeway late at night which damaged the driver side of the front bumper and caused the signal light on that side to fall out on my Prius. The signal was still attached by the wiring and still blinked so I taped it back up inside and sent out two Yelp quote requests that went out to a number of shops within 10 miles of me. Anyone who owns a Prius knows the frustration of that low front bumper and how it gets scraped and scratched so I didn't have any particular precious sentiment about the repair so wanted a business that would do a good job with a fair price. Alex here at PUR was one of the first to respond and gave me a quote that was hundreds cheaper than every other quote I got - HUNDREDS. He quoted me $650 if using aftermarket parts for 4 parts that needed to be replaced but I decided to go with new parts for $850 because of warranty issue with electric parts. All the other quotes I got ranged from $1200-1650. I brought the car in for an inspection and was able to leave with it while Alex ordered the parts and worked on the painting. I stopped by a few days later when everything was ready, and he installed the new bumper and the other parts in about an hour. Alex and his crew at PUR did a great and efficient job. They are very nice and clearly have a reputable business as there are plenty of very nice and expensive cars in the shop under repair. Fantastic experience all-around. Wife had backed our Tacoma into a railing at the train station which crunched the taillight and rear panel. I was looking to get a ballpark estimate on fixing some minor scratches on my front bumper and a paint chip on my driver side mirror cover caused by a pole in my parking garage. First off, they buffed the bumper scratches out free of charge! Then for the paint chip, the quote I got to repaint the whole cover was significantly less than other places! I asked about a touch up since I didn't want to repaint the entire cover immediately, and they also did that free of charge! I know I already wrote a review but I felt that it was only appropriate to post an update regarding the black Mercedes I brought in a couple weeks ago for a light fix. A few days after I had gotten it fixed, Alex sent me a message offering to fix the massive scratch on the side of the car (from the same incident that broke the tail light) FOR FREE (originally it was quoted for $400+) as a way of "welcoming me into the PUR Collision family". I was seriously speechless at his generosity and literally couldn't respond to his message until the next day because I genuinely did not know what to say. As someone who's job has been affected by COVID-19, this made a HUGE difference for me. I can't thank this team enough. The scratch fix took three days in total and Alex even sent me an update pic halfway. It looked brand new when I went to go pick it up; Their work was fantastic, it was impossible to tell that there was even damage at one point. And of course Alex went above and beyond AGAIN: One of the windshield wipers on the car were missing (I had no idea where it went); Alex noticed this and proceeded to order the wiper FOR FREE and offered to install it, again, FOR FREE. I have never met anyone as generous as him and I seriously cannot recommend PUR Collision Center enough. Once again Alex and the team at PUR Collision Center bring my car back to life again. I got into an accident around December 2021 with my newer car and the way that it was driving after I was stressing as I thought major damage was done. I sent a quick video to Alex showing him the damage and he said "we can take care of it, it's no problem". Some peace of mind for the time being. I ended up taking it in and after a month (my insurance took forever to process the appraisal from the original estimate) later I got it back driving new as ever. Alex kept me updated every time there was an update from working on the car or the insurance and assured me no major damage was done. What can I say about Art and his crew... they provided exceptional service to me, and did excellent work on my Subaru after being in a costly fender bender. These folks are honest, hard-working, and will bend over backwards to ensure that all repairs are done quickly, correctly, and economically efficiently all while taking on the responsibility of haggling with insurance to ensure all needed parts are covered by insurance leaving me free of playing phone tag with that worry or concern. I expressed in the beginning that I had little extra money and needed assistance and Art went out of his way to make sure I had cheap transportation available while I was without a vehicle and that my final bill was more than fair but outstanding given the time and labor it used up. He even fixed the side of my car I scraped against a underground garage beam and replaced the car door that was damaged as well at an extremely GREAT PRICE!! I will be recommending this place to all my friends if they get in an accident or if they have any paint/dents/cosmetic issues they need fixing as I trust these guys over anyone else in Los Angeles. Was looking through yelp for shops to help fix my car and out of all the ones i've talked to, I decided to go with PUR collision center and I was not disappointed! Got into an accident with my new freaking car (not my fault) so my car was basically not drivable so I was talking to Art and Alex over the phone and told them the problems I was having with my car, and I also sent them pictures and they were kind enough to look at it and tell me what could possibly be wrong. They were kind and honest and reassured me that they will try their best to make it as affordable as possible (only worries was that if it didn't pass alignment then price might raise up). I lived pretty far from the shop and they even offered a free tow to get my car to their shop. Once it got to their shop they emailed/texted me their plan of what they're going to do and what was exactly wrong with it, they sent me pictures and kept me updated throughout the whole thing. Sadly Art told me that it didn't pass first alignment (he even showed me a pic of the alignment test thing once I picked up my car but anyways they did a few adjustments and it finally passed lol... the estimate he gave me didn't even really raise at all which I was so grateful for.) When I picked up my car I was shocked because it looked so good, they did such an incredible work!! So one time I was super tired after a long and sunny drive to San Diego I rolled very slowly forward right into a pole. I dented my front bumper as you can see below. Finally months later I was tired of driving my ugly car and I went on yelp to get quotes for repair. From other personal history I knew people might charge anywhere from $600-$1000 depending on what all needed to be done, the type of car etc. Alex came to me with an estimated hundreds below average. To be honest I was kind of worried but the deal could not be beat. I left my car over the holiday weekend while I was out of down but the work was basically done in 2 days and my bumper looks great. Only the most discerning eye under super bright light may not be able to tell it isn't the factory bumper that came with my car. I'd say the color match is about 99%.
