I did my due diligence and got estimates from a couple of other places before choosing Pur Collision Center. Pur's estimate came in right in the middle price wise. What sold me on trusting my vehicle with them was my interaction with Art. Art was the person that didn't just answer the phone, he also gave me my quote in person. I mainly only spoke with and dealt with Art. It wasn't a receptionist that answered the phone and then handed me off to another person to get the initial quote, and then handed me off to another department to process my information - it was just Art, who was friendly, personable and professional throughout. The corner of my car's bumper got swiped in a parking lot - unfortunately it was enough contact to scrape a portion of the paint down to the polycarbonate plastic. Art explained the whole process to me, breaking down why what might look like a simple fix wasn't (I've got parking sensors in my bumper; I also had a Plastic Protective Film added to my car to protect my bumper from scratches that typically come from loading and unloading the trunk, which now had to come off and be replaced). Two day turnaround, great communication. While I hope I never have to use their services again (fingers crossed), I would definitely recommend them! read more

So, I went to PUR Collision Center back in June because I was about to embark on a road trip from LA to El Paso in a week. In my former life, I was a terrible driver, and my front bumper bore the evidence of my lack of skill -- I'm talking deep scratches, a hanging, dragging shield, and a front light that was hanging somewhere inside the bumper. Anyway, as I've recently decided to level up, I wanted to give my car a facelift. I drove over to PUR where they promised that they would be able to complete the work ahead of my trip. They went over pricing in detail, gave me a couple of discounts since there are no OEM parts for my car, and told me that they'd call when the parts came in. (I was impatient and called them first, sorry about that!) And they told me to come on in the next morning. I dropped my car off around 8am. They said it would be ready by lunch. I walked over to Starbucks and waited for a few hours, and then walked back. Just as I was arriving back to PUR, my phone rang. My car was ready. And boy, was Beau (my car's name!) as beautiful as the first day I'd laid eyes on her. The story doesn't end there. In my current life, I'm an okay driver. So last night, I was doing an errand for a friend and ended up in some hilly neighborhood. As I backed out of the driveway, my car caught on the curb, lightly scraping my bumper and dislodging the shield. I was super bummed. I called PUR this morning. Alex said to come right. I did as I was told. He met me at car and told me that I'd messed up several components. I said was honest -- "I don't have a job right now. I can't afford to replace anything. Is there anything else that can be done?" He said, "Give me your keys and go sit inside." My dog ripped up the interior door panel of my 2012 Prius. It is hard to find someone who will just install a used part for you, but it seemed ridiculous to pay $450 for a new part on a beat up old car. PUR were the only company to offer to install the door panel for me at the reasonable price of $40. My car front bumper and headlights were pretty wrecked from an accident. I took my car to Alex of Pur Collision Center and he gave me a really fair estimate on the cost of all the parts + labor. Using after market parts, the cost came out to be super reasonable considering just how many parts I needed to be replaced. The pricing can't be beat! The next business day, I brought in my car to have the paint color checked and was able to drive home with it. This review is long overdue, but Arthur and his partners did a great job with fixing up my bumper and taking care of scratches. In a nutshell, the left side of the bumper took a hit during a rainy night after my foot slipped off the brake and the side of the car got scratched up thanks to a bad parking job. Both things combined made me want to take the car to somewhere that would do the job without breaking my piggy bank. They gave me a fair quote with a fast turn-around considering the other jobs they had and the rainy weather at the time (was promised in 2 weeks and it was done under 1.5 week). All along the way, they gave me updates so I would know where they were in the process, which I appreciated because being without my car is always a hassle. I drove over something on the freeway late at night which damaged the driver side of the front bumper and caused the signal light on that side to fall out on my Prius. The signal was still attached by the wiring and still blinked so I taped it back up inside and sent out two Yelp quote requests that went out to a number of shops within 10 miles of me. Anyone who owns a Prius knows the frustration of that low front bumper and how it gets scraped and scratched so I didn't have any particular precious sentiment about the repair so wanted a business that would do a good job with a fair price. Alex here at PUR was one of the first to respond and gave me a quote that was hundreds cheaper than every other quote I got - HUNDREDS. He quoted me $650 if using aftermarket parts for 4 parts that needed to be replaced but I decided to go with new parts for $850 because of warranty issue with electric parts. All the other quotes I got ranged from $1200-1650. I brought the car in for an inspection and was able to leave with it while Alex ordered the parts and worked on the painting. I stopped by a few days later when everything was ready, and he installed the new bumper and the other parts in about an hour. Alex and his crew at PUR did a great and efficient job. They are very nice and clearly have a reputable business as there are plenty of very nice and expensive cars in the shop under repair. I am super grateful to have come across Art's shop for my car repair. Any collision is a high stress situation and mine was no exception - I was rear-ended by an uninsured driver and was unsurprisingly freaking out. Not having been in an accident in 10+ years and not being super educated in general when it comes to insurance processes, I initially planned to cover the cost of repairs out of pocket. I frantically drove around to different Subaru authorized repair centers to get a sense of the damages and what I was looking at cost-wise. Art's estimate came in very reasonably amongst the quotes I received but what set Art apart was his personable nature, and immediate guidance on the insurance process (as thankfully I had uninsured motorist coverage). From start to finish, Art went above and beyond, walking me through each repair step, and throughout the multi week process of acquiring parts, dealing with insurance approvals, etc. he was incredibly communicative and thorough. His attention to high quality work was also highlighted. For example, my insurance had approved used parts, but he used his discount to order new parts at the same cost. Finally reunited with my car, my 2017 subaru crosstrek looks brand new (from behind at least! where the work was done). Not only were Art and team were also able to match the paint perfectly, my car was freshly detailed.   I really can't recommend Art enough - he's an expert in his craft and a super great guy all around. I know I already wrote a review but I felt that it was only appropriate to post an update regarding the black Mercedes I brought in a couple weeks ago for a light fix. A few days after I had gotten it fixed, Alex sent me a message offering to fix the massive scratch on the side of the car (from the same incident that broke the tail light) FOR FREE (originally it was quoted for $400+) as a way of "welcoming me into the PUR Collision family". I was seriously speechless at his generosity and literally couldn't respond to his message until the next day because I genuinely did not know what to say. As someone who's job has been affected by COVID-19, this made a HUGE difference for me. I can't thank this team enough. The scratch fix took three days in total and Alex even sent me an update pic halfway. It looked brand new when I went to go pick it up; Their work was fantastic, it was impossible to tell that there was even damage at one point. And of course Alex went above and beyond AGAIN: One of the windshield wipers on the car were missing (I had no idea where it went); Alex noticed this and proceeded to order the wiper FOR FREE and offered to install it, again, FOR FREE. Once again Alex and the team at PUR Collision Center bring my car back to life again. I got into an accident around December 2021 with my newer car and the way that it was driving after I was stressing as I thought major damage was done. I sent a quick video to Alex showing him the damage and he said "we can take care of it, it's no problem". Some peace of mind for the time being. I ended up taking it in and after a month (my insurance took forever to process the appraisal from the original estimate) later I got it back driving new as ever. I was looking to get a ballpark estimate on fixing some minor scratches on my front bumper and a paint chip on my driver side mirror cover caused by a pole in my parking garage. What can I say about Art and his crew... they provided exceptional service to me, and did excellent work on my Subaru after being in a costly fender bender. These folks are honest, hard-working, and will bend over backwards to ensure that all repairs are done quickly, correctly, and economically efficiently all while taking on the responsibility of haggling with insurance to ensure all needed parts are covered by insurance leaving me free of playing phone tag with that worry or concern.
