My car was involved in a hit and run accident. No major damages, but I did not want to be driving with a large crack on my front bumper. Called different shops around LA that were Subaru certified, and PUR gave me the most positive, honest, and transparent review of the damage to my car. Seems I had a little more internal damage than I originally thought once the front bumper was taken off. Art made sure my insurance did not cheap out and ordered OEM parts on my request and made it work with my insurance estimate. Art saved me the headache of having to negotiate with insurance and kept me updated on everything. My car was in and out in a week. The staff here is super helpful and professional. This place did a good job at repairing damage to my bumper but that's really the only good thing I can say. I wanted to like this place as the owner seemed nice and there were so many good reviews that led me here but that's just not the case. This photo was taken after the initial repair and I was pleased. After driving away I realized my sensors were not working. Owner assured me that everything was plugged in and they did everything correctly and was sure it had nothing to do with their work. My husband looked at the taillights and noticed the new one that was installed was not an LED light after the owner assured us that it was. He said he would order the right light and install it when it came. That did happen so he did keep his word on that. I ended up taking the car to my dealer after who found that some things were not connected which is why my sensors were not working so it indeed was their fault although the owner was so sure it wasn't. I was ready to be done with this place. However, 3 weeks after picking up my car from them paint was already chipping from the spot they repaired. My husband messaged the owner and he said to bring it in and they'd paint it again. So we did. The owner called my husband when the car was ready for pick up so we got ready to go and then we get another call shortly after. A "warning" call basically. The new fresh paint job had already got an air bubble in it. Owner said he didn't know why this was happening, never happened before, etc, etc and that he would just order a new bumper and that it shouldn't be too long, 2 weeks max. This happened in July/August and the owner still has not contacted us so I can only assume he is leaving us high and dry. Needless to say I don't think I will be giving this place another chance. Total bummer because I went into this place with the highest of hopes due solely to the reviews so I hope people are honest when they review for other peoples sakes. read more

Alex was great and very professional from start to finish. I went to PUR Collision because they offered to give me a touch up for a minor scratch where other places were charging me up to $600. When I got there, he checked out the damage and told me he would honor the touch up and even offered me a repaint of the whole bumper at a fraction of what the other places were charging. During the whole process, he seemed very honest and did not make me feel out of place or intimidated. I offered to tip them for the touch up but he wouldn't take it so I ended up giving him some Pokémon Cards I had in my trunk. Alex and his team are incredible first of all his quote was mind blowing and I with such a low price, I suspected that the work would be subpar but it had 5 stars. He quoted me 250 for a job that the owner at AGC had quoted me $950. Owner at AGC told me the parts were 2x what the Fiat dealership had quoted me and then he Included the cost for painting but nothing needed to be painted as it was chrome. Probably just thought I was a stupid girl. Anyway, I digress, Alex did such a phenomenal job on my car it looks brand new anti-let me wait in his office, using the Wi-Fi and ACto work. He cocouldn't have been any nicer and even offered to drive me to Starbucks. Fantastic experience even if I hope to not have to repeat it anytime soon. Consistent with experience of other reviewers, of the inquiries I made through Yelp, Alex was prompt to respond and remained in regular contact. Because of consistency of other Yelp reviews as well as my own impressions of Alex's expertise when I visited the shop, I chose PUR even though I'm not in the Glendale area. I was able to get minor work (paint chip on right of a rear panel) completed the same week at a very reasonable price. The quality results are evident in the attached before and after pictures. The match of color and clear coat gloss is impressive. His team even buffed out some minor surface imperfections in under the brand emblem and installed a new emblem rather than re-using the old one which might have caused some gaps if they had simply used more adhesion tape on top of old adhesion tape. Because I rely on this car as my primary transportation, I was in a hurry to get it back this week. When I have time to bring car back to him for an hour or so, Alex offered to do some additional sanding and buffing of the clear coat to even further smooth out the high gloss optics across the surface of the panel. To be clear (pun intended), only really scrutinizing people under certain lighting conditions at particular angles would even notice the very very minor reflective issues. Thankfully Alex is as much a perfectionist as I am and was very eager to achieve maximum satisfaction. Given my experience this week, I'd bring my car back to PUR for paint and body work, and will recommend Alex and his team to others. SUMMARY: Absolutely amazing experience and highly recommend! WHY: I had just bought my 2020 Corolla Hybrid a couple months ago. While I was backing into my parking space after a long drive home I accidentally clipped my drivers side mirror on the pole next to my parking space. Being a new car I could not look at the damage for long without needing to fix it ASAP. I ordered the mirror and cover at Toyota, and they asked for $155 to install it. They stated it would take an hour and a half. Someone had mentioned to me that maybe going to a mom and pop shop down the street would be a better deal. So I decided to take it slow and give it a shot. I went on yelp and sent out a mass request for quotes/availability before bed. Alex from PUR was the first to respond ( very late at night by the way also ) and gave me an estimate. I couldn't believe how much lower the price was compared to the dealer. I checked out his yelp page and was impressed to see the high ratings and noticed that he seemed to work on very high end cars. So that gave me even more confidence that I made the right choice. Alex was able to take me in almost immediately when I showed up. I gave him the two boxes of hardware, had a seat in a nice and clean air conditioned office and was given a bottled water. In literally 15 - 20 mins maximum my mirror was installed-Perfectly! No thick layer of dust on my car and dashboard, no grease on my sun visor, and a missing air cap, like when I had my first service done at the Toyota dealership. Just a job well done, an unbelievable price, and red carpet treatment. Can't thank them enough. I didn't know in advance, but he did mention afterwards that they are Toyota certified as well.
