We drove down to check out their selection and were Andrew was able to pick out a beautiful 7-foot Noble fir for us that looks amazing in our home. Andrew even delivered it the next morning and helped put it up. Their prices are very reasonable, and they were such nice guys to help us out. If you are looking to support a local business and two young business owners who are out here working hard during Christmas, do yourself a favor and go down to North Pole Christmas Trees, they will take care of you (and maybe save your Christmas too.)

Make sure to check their hours because some days are reserved for advance reservations & they do stop selling on a certain date. They had 2 types of trees, ones that shred & ones that do not. I reserved my pick-up online on New Years day (yesterday) and was contacted in less than 30 minutes with a price quote and pickup date and time. This is the second year we've visited the Family Christmas Tree Farm looking for a Christmas tree last minute. Same as last year, we were not sure if we were going to get a Christmas tree since years past it has been an ordeal purchasing, transporting, cutting and placing the tree. But my hesitation is mainly that I'm in an arm cast second holiday/Christmas season in a row, making it extremely difficult for me to help out and leaving all the hard work to hubs. I'm so blessed he's all mine! I love Christmas and of course need a Christmas tree regardless of the situation... so when I say, let's go take a look and see what trees they have, the hubs is all aboard! Located out in El Cajon it is not terribly far away, about 20 min give or take. Each time we've visited, it's been in the evening, not extremely packed busy, a consistent flow of customers coming and going. Our first visit, I didn't know what to expect. It's not a huge Christmas tree farm, big enough to have a good selection of different trees of all sizes. Pre-cut and cut your own. I don't know what it is, maybe under the evening light, the snow flocked trees stood out like a shining star! Two years in a row, we bought a snow flocked tree, last year a Douglas fir, this year a Noble fir and both at an incredible price! Granted, it was the week before Christmas, the trees were both only $99! I loved our first tree last year, but I love this year's tree even more! We came, we saw, I found my perfect tree in under 10 minutes! We both walked around the cut trees and I just knew which one I wanted, but we both made sure there wasn't another that looked better. About 7-8' tall, he was fluffy, evenly spaced branches, perfectly straight center stem at top, he was the one! The process was super simple and fast, all done and ready to go home with 5 minutes! We took our tree tag and paid for it. Next we found an employee that removed the base (optional rebar stand if you want to keep it), bagged our tree and placed it in our car (Tesla MY) and it fit perfectly! We trimmed the trunk base and up it went! With some minor adjustments, we had our Christmas tree all set up! Smoothest year so far! This year's tree was perfect! Absolutely gorgeous! Simply the best! Due to a hip injury, I purchased their tree delivery and their removal service on December 8, 2023. Each one was $120. The fields to select these services didn't load properly on their website, so I had to call their LA office to place the order. The employee who helped me was nice. After the call she sent me an email to verify my address before sending me the invoice. She had the incorrect unit number in that email, so I responded and gave her the correct unit number. In that same email I asked to schedule the date for the tree removal. The removal date was scheduled for today, Jan 02, 2024. Despite that verification, the employee still communicated the wrong unit number to the tree lot in La Jolla. When my tree didn't arrive in the scheduled window, I had to call. We got to the bottom of it, and they made it right by delivering my tree right away and refunding the $120 delivery fee. Cut to today. By 12:30 PM no one came to remove the tree. I called, but no one answered the phone. I had to leave an inquiry on their website. I got a phone call shortly afterwards. During that call, I found out that, unlike the delivery, Mr. Jingle's doesn't do the removal. The company contracts that out to a third party. That wasn't disclosed at the time of purchase, and it should have been. I was then given the name and number of their contractor. When I called, it went straight to voicemail. At 2:49 PM, I got a text from someone on behalf of Mr Jingles to schedule my tree removal for tomorrow for $35. I told them that I had already paid $120 for the removal. He then told me that because I was refunded the $120 removal fee my removal was never scheduled. He had the date of the refund and the last four digits of my card. I told him this was incorrect. I was refunded for the delivery because it was botched. The removal fee was never refunded. Why would it be? It hadn't happened yet. I sent this person screenshots of the emails as proof and explained what happened. This person still insisted the removal fee was refunded, and was still expecting $35 to remove the tree. I was livid at this point. It was like the proof I had didn't matter. Then I had another thought: why did a contractor that I have never done business with know the date I received a refund and the last 4 digits of the card I used to pay? Did Mr Jingles provide that information? If so, that's questionable behavior. The only other possibility is this person works for Mr. Jingles and the company is running one hell of a scam. This person said the $35 had to be paid via Venmo or in cash. (Hmmmm.) I have attached screenshots of the entire text conversation. The texts include screenshots of proof of the botched delivery. I will be reporting Mr Jingles to the CA Attorney General. Something isn't right with them. Whoever the text came from...their tone completely changed when I mentioned Yelp and the AG. No surprise there. As for my removal, I'll have to make other arrangements. I'll be damned if I pay this company another penny for anything. I'll likely have to contact my bank to issue a chargeback for the unfulfilled removal. [January 3, 8:18 AM] The contractor sent me a text yesterday evening. My tree is scheduled to be removed today, and I will be refunded the $120 removal fee. I left the tree outside my front door, as I have to return to work today. The contractor tried to guilt me about posting this review without giving them a chance to fix the problem. If he's a separate company like he said, then why does he care? To me, this further suggests that the businesses aren't separate and I was being grifted. If they really are separate businesses, this bad review is still valid. If Mr. Jingles is going to charge $240 to deliver and remove a 4ft tree, then they better have their act together. Clearly they do not.
