I responded to the text noting that the excessive amount of phone calls in such a short period was not appropriate or a good way to gain business and did not receive a reply (but the phone calls did stop, which means the text was likely read and there was simply no reasonable excuse that could be made for four phone calls in a two minute period). I have not visited this location and it may very well be amazing - but I'll be finding a different studio to join after today's display of how potential future members are hounded to schedule their first class.

The membership policies are antiquated and very inflexible. I often would be in class and could hear the staff on calls or speaking in the front reception or in the back room. Waitlists for the best instructors do not clear despite what you are told before you join. As others have said, I too was inexplicably bumped from my last class credit and then told because I had cancelled membership (i'm currently not working so needed to take a break) that they will not reinstate the credit. Do not join.

I sent a very polite message explaining that I had forgotten to sign in but asked if they could srefund no show fee since I was there. The response I got was incredibly nasty, as if I had done something terribly wrong. They said this would be the last time. ?!? Also, when I ended my membership, I clearly said I wanted to cancel, but they dragged it out, and I ended up being charged longer than I should have. The classes and instructors are fine, but it's true that the owner seems a bit mean-spirited.
