I've been coming to this studio for 4 years. I'm in love with everything about it from the class mix, to the instructors, to all the extras they offer. I most recently tried the organic spray tan and I'm obsessed!!! I have red hair with white as snow skin. So I've always feared spray tans, I thought I would turn orange. This is most definitely NOT the case with the product they use!!! I think it took 15 mins to get a glow that I've never seen on my body before. Wedding, vacation, or special occasion coming up?? I've taken over 600 Antigravity classes and, once I moved from NYC, I was so relieved to find this lovely studio in NJ. Everyone else may claim to do "aerial", but this studio has the real deal all-fabric hammocks (not that awful parachute material stuff with the handles). Here, they offer a good variety of class options. The instructors I've had are well versed in safety and knowledgeable about how to address a variety of skill levels within the class. And they're fun!! I have visited a few aerial studios in NJ and this one has a good amount of space, light, hammocks, and is the most stylistically like the original Antigravity founder's, Christopher Harrison's, studio in Manhattan. If you haven't done it, try Antigravity. Give it five tries and you'll soon be be hooked. And THIS is the studio to try it at. I won't even go into how they also offer the most kids classes, Pilates, barre, cryo and an infrared sauna. Those deserve their own separate positive reviews. Just know that I drive an hour round trip, multiple times a week, just to take classes here. As an Antigravity connoisseur, I know what I'm talking about when I say that this is the place to go in NJ. read more

I started going to Coolhotyoga (CHY) in June of 2014 after I bought a Groupon for 10 classes, and I've been going back ever since. With convenient class times and the use of an app (MindBody Connect), signing up for your next class is a breeze. I've taken many antigravity yoga classes, and only one other class (booty barre), so this review is mainly speaking to the former. During my time at CHY, I've taken the antigravity yoga classes with three different instructors, all of which are well-qualified and friendly. They also give you that extra push one needs when trying something new all while letting you go at your own pace. Antigravity yoga is a great full-body workout that will leave you feeling longer, stronger, more flexible and with a good feeling of sore the next day. I love this studio. I've started taking the coolbarre boot camp class because it's less expensive than other places I've been. It's a great class and the instructor is motivational and makes it fun. I will definitely try some other classes soon. That said, I had a less than stellar experience at the anti-gravity yoga class. The instructor made me feel stupid and I left the class in tears. As much as I tried to explain to her that it wasn't the positions that were hurting me, rather it was the harness pinching my skin, she didn't seem to get it. I left covered in terrible bruises on my arms and hips and was in pain for a week. I'll stick to gravity from now on. read more

First off, love online scheduling. It's a breeze. Did the Groupon special and definitely worth it for the price. The hot yoga instructor, Patti was amazing. I never liked yoga until now! It wasn't as hot as bikram yoga but still, I was sweating up a storm in there (also, I sat right in front of the heater). Get there early because classes fill up as does space. And bring water and a towel! You will definitely need it. I walked out of my first session feeling re-energized and amazing. Huge fan. Cannot wait to try some of the other classes. read more

I used to come here a lot (over the course of a few years) then I moved to queens. I really miss this place. Their various classes with great instructors were terrific especially Denise. Denise is amazing!!! She has a very good understanding of the human body and has an eye for correct form and her directions are clear and informative (still the best instructor I've ever had). I miss her tower classes so much. The reason I'm writing is that I'm having a terrible time finding a new studio to work out in around my new home. I didn't realize how good this place was until I left it. Hindsight is 20/20 I guess , wish they had a location near me! But recently I moved far away and was trying to purchase classes at another studio with a similar name and bought classes here by MISTAKE. I tried to get in contact with the studio which is nearly impossible. I have called at various times and no one answers. I sent emails, only one rude response telling me no refunds. I have been to many different yoga studios in many different places.. and I think this is my favorite yoga studio in north jersey. Convenient location with many available parking spots. Easy online scheduling/cancellation. Great teachers and facility. Classes varies depending on teachers, so you may want to take different classes to see which class and teacher you would like. Bring a towel and water, and arrive a little early to get a good spot. read more

First I would like to thank Michelle for an amazing class this Sunday (4/14). I am grateful for the extra push and the fact that she believed in me to complete the postures, even if I didn't. I truly felt a sense of accomplishment after her class. My friends from Staten Island were so excited that, they too said they would be back to take classes. We loved her energy, it's contagious!!! I purchased the 10 class Groupon a while back and have to say, to date this is the best Groupon so far !! I Let's just say, I also purchased a Pilates package with Denise (of whom I think is equally an amazing instructor and great motivator) I need help with my stiffness and posture and enrolled in Sarah's workshop on the 4/26 for Happy Feet, Knees, and Hips Workshop. Took the restorative yoga class with Lisa tonight and it was just amazing. I took a hiatus from yoga unfortunately and wanted to get back into the practice. This was such a lovely and relaxing class, it went by so quickly! I felt like I was able to calm down, stretch out, and shake off all the stress of a busy Monday. Lisa was a great instructor too. I truly enjoy the yoga classes here. Shari is a wonderful instructor who demonstrates the perfect combination of zen, challenge and flow. I especially love that she encourages students to 'Be where they are' to emphasize that the studio is a no judgement zone. She is also great at modifying poses to accommodate limitations, such as back or knee problems. It really is a great studio for beginners and advanced yogis. Michelle is also wonderful and I have really enjoyed aerial yoga and cryo facials as well. read more

Michelle and her team of instructors are AMAZING! She offers different types of classes and they are intimate so you can get the individualized attention you need. The studio is spotless and she even has a Infared Sauna you can buy packages for along with Cryotherapy! I highly recommend the tower and chair classes as well as pilates mat taught by Michelle! I found my permanent yoga spot! CHY is awesome. I have already done 10 anti-gravity yoga classes and have about 7 more until I have to purchase more classes. You have to book the classes online and be sure to book early because they fill up fast. You can buy single classes, but after the first class (anti-gravity), you will be hooked! I have not tried any other class except anti-gravity, but I am sure they are just as great. The AG classes are so fun. You really get to lengthen and stretch out your body and work all the other muscles you didn't think you had! Laura and Michelle are great instructors, they allow everyone to go at their own pace but also give you that extra push you need. I learn something new every time I go to class. Just being on the hammocks is already fun. AG yoga is an awesome experience and I recommend everyone to try it at least once! They have a location in California as well, which I hope I can attend to when I go this summer for vacation, I can't get enough! read more

I had my bachelorette party a group of 11 Saturday 3/11 and our instructor was so awesome! She was energetic, kind, encouraging, and made the class very fun for all of us! As a bride she made me feel special. She made sure everyone had a partner and got our pictures with every pose! She took her time with everyone and we never felt rushed. She let us have time at the end to set up a group pic on the silks. I high recommend this place! read more
