I initially left a positive Google review because I did leave happy a few weeks ago. I understood that achieving my desired result would require multiple sessions, and I was completely willing to do that. A week after my appointment, I called to schedule my next session so we could continue working toward my goal. Unfortunately, I was told no one was available, my information was taken for a callback, and I never received one. What is even more disappointing is that I was very upfront about my hair history during my consultation over the phone and in person! Despite that, I was scheduled with a stylist who openly expressed that she was not confident performing the service I wanted. She was kind and did the best she could, and I appreciate her effort, but as a paying client, I don't feel that was fair. Hearing another stylist say, "You can do it, it's fine," while my stylist felt uncomfortable moving forward left me feeling uneasy about the entire process. The result is that my first visit feels like a waste of time and money. The weekend I scheduled this appointment for was important to me, and I left without the look I had specifically booked for. More importantly, the lack of follow-up afterward has made me feel like there is little interest in helping me reach the end result that was discussed during my consultation. read more

Called to get my hair done before my cousin's wedding. Arrived at the location we begin.The process not impressed with my hair at all.I should have just curled it like I was going to myself.It would have looked and felt better, especially for the amount. This place didn't even have champagne or anything decent, just typical boxed wine. The receptionist was clueless when I called back for directions. And if they had any beverages took time for her to even respond, maybe obviously a very young individual. The salon tech that I was paired with was nice.But just okay. I asked to make it wavy or pretty as far as kind of a curl, all she did was wash it, blow dry round Brush it, and it still didn't fill salon Gorgeous or fresh. Willl never return and don't recommend this spot. Awaste of money from the lyft to the distant location to the service itself...I should have went somewhere closer to me but it popped up as a recommendation or better don't it myself with my heated curlers. I thought it was odd that the tip was separated from the actual process amount. I had to run my card twice. I'll show in the pictures. I didn't get a chance to even take photos of the inside of the location which you can see on here anyways, not that it's worth bragging about very small. I'm not very professional in my opinion. I get my hair done at Capelli salons in Dallas. A 5 star luxury salon. I always pay $500 plus for my maintenance. I was in town in San Antonio and a part of my Hair Extensions fell and I needed a maintenance so they took same-day appointments and I scheduled with Zoe. As soon as I come in, she goes to go get the manager acting like she was confused on how to do the maintenance of my Weft Hair Extensions. The manager came over and was like oh you just move the beads up and was trying to break it down and explain it to her after that she does my maintenance and washes my hair and then blow dry it now another worker that works at the salon not the manager comes over and asked me what salon did your Hair Extensions and I said Capelli salon and she takes a picture of it and says they did a terrible job it's supposed to be laying flat on your head, etc. and this is after Zoe did my maintenance. I tell her no my hair extensions are messed up right now because of y'all and not because of my last salon I go to a high-quality salon to get my hair, maintenance and Hair Extensions done and she's like oh well it's not us it was ur last stylist. So then I asked Zoe can you just go ahead and take the extensions completely out if that's the case and redo them because that's how you typically do weft Hair Extension maintenance anyway you take them completely out and she said no not today after she was done with my maintenance, I had to use the restroom and I come out and she's completely disappeared and had the manager check me out as well so I've left the salon, completely dissatisfied and my weft Hair Extensions not maintenanced properly hurting my scalp loose in certain areas and improperly tightened and installed/maintenanced. I would say that my stylist was probably very inexperienced with Hair Extensions clueless young and again did a terrible job and I don't recommend the salon and I will not be back. Asked for a shag haircut a little below my shoulders. Because of my thin hair, Leslie tried to make it appear thicker and made my hair look like a jellyfish haircut and a bob. Nothing like the picture and my bangs looked better uncut than when she touched them. Didn't talk to me at all for an hour I sat in her chair. Didn't ask enough questions about the haircut for me to feel like she actually knew what she was doing. Cut my bangs way too short. Not coming back here. I prefer visible changes at La Cantera. The only hair salon I will go to! I've been getting my hair cut by Jordan at salon Rana for years and absolutely love it there and getting my hair cut by her. Jordan is an amazing stylist. I have long, thick, and a lot of hair and in the past I always had a hard time finding someone who took their time and cut it like I asked but once I had my hair cut by Jordan I knew she would be the person cutting my hair. I have been having my hair but by her for over 5 years and she's the sweetest stylist and very talented as well. I highly recommend her and have sent many family members and friends who also exclusively book her/this salon as well. Went in three weeks ago on Super Bowl Sunday to get a simple balayage and cut with Anne and was quoted $270 plus $20 each time something extra was needed and I was fine with that, I knew something was suspicious when the other stylists were walking over and telling her what to do but at that point there was nothing I could do. After 5 hours in the chair she was finally blow drying and I let her know that it was orange, not brassy but ORANGE. One of the other stylists came over and looked at the picture and also told Ann that it was orange. She attempted to put a toner in it and wanted me to come back the following Friday to have her fix it. I got up to the register thinking I would only be charged for the cut until they fixed the color and was told that I owed $328 that day and that they would not charge me the next Friday and that Rana would give me a call to discuss the experience with me. When Rana called, she stated that all of the stylists sided with me on why I was upset and asked if I trusted the other girl to try to fix it. She told me that she has 15+ years of experience and that she would be able to get my color the way the picture looked and I had already paid for it so I had no other choice. Rana told me that she would be there on Friday to make sure that everything turned out good, but was not there when I went in. I sat in the chair for 4 hours and as she was blow drying it, it looked very brassy/yellow. At that point I let her finish because I was not going to have them touch my hair again and damage it anymore than it had been. I went to an Amazing salon called Pure Beauty Bliss and they were able to get my hair to look like my picture without damaging it anymore. They had every stylist in the salon look at the picture I had shown them compared to what it looked like and I was quite embarrassed. I reached out to Rana and told her about how upset I was with my experience and that I would like a refund for the color at least. She got very rude and said that I should have told them and she could have tried to fix it. Why in the world would I go back in to that salon after they attempted to do what I wanted twice and could not do that? She told me she would speak to her business partner and call me back and never did, so I had to call her again. When she finally called me back, she stated that they have a no refund policy but then tried to tell me I did not pay $328 even though she was able to look at my receipt. I would not recommend going here if you want your hair to look nice. read more

They advised me it would cost about $240 for everything I wanted to try to do after so after about 4 hours there my hair look nothing or even close to it. Rana immediately made us feel welcomed and at home. She let me sit in a chair next to my daughter who was getting her hair done. Rana did exactly what we asked AND gave suggestions for an even better way to fix the boxed dye that was in my daughter's hair. Rana really knows her stuff! Took the day off since it was the only time she could fit me in .People I shared pictures with couldn't believe it was considered a balayage. DO NOT USE JORDAN! I had roots done and extensions taken out. HORRIBLE MISTAKE! The passive aggressive "hair dresser" left dark color on my forehead and on the back of my neck after I specifically told her i was going back to work. She blowed dried my hair and did not even have the ordasity to smooth it out with a flat iron. On my way home as I was running my fingers through my hair, i noticed she had chunks of glue in my hair. I called the salon and was told the manager would call me back at a later time. i was furious and spoke to Jordan who was very dismissive!! Over $300 later, needless to say, was a waste of time and money. Jordan would not even accept another appointment to make it RIGHT, she cowardly had the salon owner call me and tell me that Jordan would no longer be doing my hair and that she could do it if needed!!! Worst place I've ever been. Colorist damaged my daughters hair. Then wasn't willing to correct her mistake

I went in for root touch up/highlights, and did not get what i paid for (almost $200)! I called the next day to let her know that i could not see the highlights. She redid my hair, and i noticed a few days later my hair was very dry. What upsets me is this hairstylist lied and told Rana (owner) i was not happy with the color of my highlights but you can CLEARLY see there is no highlights to be seen. Rana did try to get me in, but she also tried telling me i can't get a certain color right away. Which i already knew, that was not my argument. Needless to say i went somewhere else and the stylist told me she recommends me to do treatments on my hair and hold off a few months on doing any highlights because my hair was damaged..... read more

I went to get a hair cut with several pictures in hand. I'm a working 65 very active and I like to look elegant and stylist. My hair was long and touched my shoulders, and I had mentioned to my stylist I wanted to go shorter little by little until I find the right short cut. I went for a second time to get my hair cut shorter and had several pictures to give to my stylist so she can have a good idea of what I wanted....she started using clippers like if she was going to cut a man hair...(no good) I stopped her but she insisted that she needed to do that...she went on to cut all that back of my hair with clippers on my dry hair even though I told her repeatedly I don't want my hair that short, she didn't listen and kept telling me that the style of hair cut I wanted was needed to be cut like that..I told her again I don't wanted that short and asked her to see the picture I showed her earlier. She said she didn't have to. So now my hair looked like a mushroom and even though I kept telling her it doesn't look right but ODD...SHE INSISTED that IT'S OK. My hair cut was a disaster!! I told her to stop blow drying because it was making me look like an idiot...then she calls her manager to come to help fix the cut do it will not look soooo odd...by now manager had to cut more and they ended up making me look like a man. I was so embarrassed and upset to end up with the hair cut I hate the most!!! I never said to my stylist I wanted a short cut...I had pictures and clearly specified that the hair style I want is for people with thick hair like mine. Now my hair being thick and do short and uneven sticks out even after I use the best products to make it smooth. Please do not go to salon Rana unless you want all your hair to be chopped off you want your blonde hair to go to like a dark ashy blonde do not trust went to salon Rana thinking I was in good hands because the last time I went there, I was taking care of so well, but that was by Chadelle. She no longer works there. I was hesitant to go because I'm always scared of new hairstylist that they're going to chop off my hair or cover the blonde that I've worked so hard to get to where I'm at. Turns out my worst nightmare came true after I was bullied into cutting my hair, I told, the Hairstylist 2 to 3 inches it turned out to be 7 to 8 inches. My hair was down to my hips. It is now towards my breast. I was also treated very poorly. I felt that I was rushed. My hair was being yanked. I had never felt like that in the salon, she then added that she didn't have the correct toner so she had to mix and dilute different toners but I try to be polite upon leaving the salon because I was there for like five hours I then later found out it should have not taken that long. I noticed how short my hair is. I immediately called the owner the next day she tells me she'll be able to fix it. She's got it. She'll even make my hair a little bit lighter my hair looks brassy and my hair is very choppy. It doesn't even match my face. I called her back the next day saying I don't like my haircut. I hate it. It's just ugly. My hair is so dark. I went to work and people noticed they said my hair was super short why did I cut it? Oh, you went darker for the fall I called and and asked for a refund so that i could find someone else to fix it and they refused salon Rana is not for the clients. She will fight tooth and nail for her hair stylist,which by the way has only been there for a month and kept asking for help which is great but if you value your hair, do not go here. read more
