I've actually been unable to get the smell OUT of some clothes so I stopped going there, because it smells like old lady perfume or something and is strong. Once, I did my sheets there and had to re-do them all, because my bed smelled like a herd of old ladies or weird white ladies with bad taste from department stores were sleeping in it. I used to always go to the other one on Main Ave. -- which has a severe lack of washers because the staff uses them and does not care if there are none for customers and will let stuff sit in dryers for a considerable amount of time, even if people are waiting to use them. They suggested East Ave, and like I said, great facility, great people, but I don't understand the perfume smell. If it happened once, I'd not complain -- but it happened more than once, and I really don't like the time waste of doing laundry as it is, so having to do it twice is just painful to me. Maybe they'll look into it. I know I have a bit of a wolf nose, but it IS strong and my husband noticed it, too, since I never smell like old white lady.

It's sewn crooked and very poorly. The thread work is sloppy and they sewed a crease into the dress! I was charged $90 for this terrible work, and I when I refused to pay so much for shoddy tailoring they took $20 off. I didn't want to argue further so I paid $70 and left with my ruined dress. They offered to fix it, and said it was an oversight, but I'm so disgusted they would think this dress was ready for a customer that I do not trust them to work on it again. I will never return here. There are plenty of options for washers and dryers, which the ones that handle larger loads charging more I've never had to wait for a washer or dryer because there are so many. The woman who works Sundays is extremely friendly and I don't know if she truly recognizes everyone who comes in, but she always looks happy to see you and asks how I've been. They have a few TVs throughout the place so if you're waiting for your laundry to finish washing or drying, or folding, chances are you can see what's on. There's also free Wifi while you wait, or you can always shop at Goodwill across the parking lot to kill some time. Their cheapest washers are over $3 which seems expensive to me, but I usually spend no more than $1 on a dryer for 28 minutes of drying which evens the cost out, and it's cheaper than another laundromat I've tried in Wilton. There's a change machine that accepts $1, $5, $10, and $20s if you don't have enough quarters which is nice, so you can just get a 20 from your bank's ATM and it's enough to cover several loads. Overall a great place to do you laundry if you have need of a laundromat with friendly staff when they're there, though the actual building is open 24/7, TV and free wifi, and nice machines.

I brought in an Oscar de la Renta silk jacket to patch the sleeves since the silk ripped. When I picked it up, I saw that instead of an invisible patch inside the garment, they patched it and sewed, in crazy quilt fashion, all over the the rips that were formerly invisible on the surface. I was pretty angry and said that if they had doubts about the way they planned to repair the jacket they should have called me. The owner, not one bit apologetic, said he couldn't call all his customers. I thought up 2 ways to fix the rips but didn't trust them to do a decent job. I assumed he wouldn't charge me for the work. Guess what? He wanted half the fee. Sick of arguing, I paid for half the work. This owner made a serious mistake. The Cleaning business IS customer service! Had he been one bit apologetic, I would have been mollified and we might have worked out a way to fix the problem. I will never go there again and tell my friends about their disregard for my property, after all, we entrust dry cleaners with our clothes, if they ruin them, they owe us money! Stay away!
