    Chicken Katsudon and Teriyaki Chicken

I placed my order through DoorDash and went to the restaurant for pickup. As soon as I walked in, the place felt open, spacious, and very clean. The staff had my order ready right on time, which made the pickup quick and easy. I tried the Thai tea boba first, and that's when I knew this place was going to be good. When the milk tea is made right, you can tell the food will be just as good. The Thai tea was honestly one of the best I've had. Coming from someone who's tried Thai tea all over Los Angeles, this definitely matched that level. Then I tried the chicken katsudon, and it instantly became comfort food for me. It was flavorful, fresh, and so satisfying. This is easily one of the best comfort food spots I've found in Ridgecrest, and it truly reminds me of the quality restaurants back in LA County. Highly recommend -- I'll definitely be coming back!

Pancit Bihon - Chicken Pork lumpia

After a hard days work it was time for some good food. Fired up yelp to see what was around and caught this Filipino restaurant nearby. It is located in a shopping plaza near an Albertsons in a back corner. When you go inside there is some seating in case you wanted to dine in. I just wanted to order and eat back at the hotel. I wanted to try something simple to see how it was. Ended up ordering the chicken pancit and a 5 piece pork lumpia. Everything is made to order so there will be a wait just in case you are in a rush. Total time waiting was around 15 min. I could feel the heat coming through the styrofoam and bag so at least I knew it was fresh. When I finally opened it up I was delighted to see how much food there was, well worth the price. The food was still hot and in fact I actually had to let it cool down before I could eat it. The pork lumpia was good but combined with the sauce made it even better. Once the main food cooled down enough I ate about half and saved the rest for later. Now, I normally eat a lot so for me to save some speaks volumes to just how much they give you. Taste wise it was ok, nothing spectacular but I enjoyed that it was fresh and hot. Check this place out if you're tired of fast food and you'll be surprised.

    Boba Tuesday!

Things have definitely improved and we've been coming here a lot in the past year. Yesterday they had a new coffee drink on the menu, which I was particularly happy to see. The coffee jelly cold brew ($5.45) tasted a lot like Vietnamese iced coffee, which is great. The jelly chunks are large, and rather firm (compared to other jellies we've had), which means it doesn't really work with a boba straw. I think they should work on making the jelly a bit softer/smaller so you can drink it. The fact that they only offer one size of drink means I had leftovers for the next day, cuz these drinks are huge. We've been trying just about everything on the menu, and have liked it all except the fries because they're always extremely salty (not exaggerating). The ladies who work here are all very nice and helpful.

At 2pm on a Saturday, the restaurant was expectedly slow. Appears to be a mom and pop store. Lechon and garlic rice were absolutely delicious - they were cooked to order. There were about 9x 4-seat tables. Drinks looked refreshing, but we didn't order any. There was a row of Filipino snacks available for purchase. Wished they had Sisig.

Only tried and came for the Lechon law Ali and was very pleased with it. It was cooked to order and the flavor and texture was . Honestly didint have high expectations given this desert area But ngl I'm definitely gonna frequent this place more often given a great first impression from the Lechon . We also tried their boba. Passion fruit green tea and the ube milk. The drinks themselves were ehh ok but the boba was actually pretty solid. Great texture, and not hard or slimey and old. Not sure how long this place has been around and if COVID had any affects on it and their current operations but this place definitely has great potential

Two item plate - Lechon kawali, chicken adobo, & garlic rice - It was pretty bomb!

I like to go here for the Tai Boba tea. It's always so good. Never tried any of the food but it looks good when I go in.

First of all I will start out by saying I have shopped here repeatedly, with nothing negative ever…read more They offer special deals and just like other store chaines you can download the app clip coupons on special deals. Well that is what I did on this last trip. I took my stuff up to purchase and the register attendant was kind and I explained I shop here and finally downloaded the app. I wanted to make sure I get the deals I came for on this trip. He begin ringing up my items told me to enter my phone number I used when I registered so I did. Nothing changed at all no special price so I sqid xqb you call someone. He said sure he called a frontbend manager that was working I believe his name was Chris. Chris came over, and even though I showed him Im logged in and I clipped the coupon and the issue we were having he basically blew me off. He obviously didn't want to help and walked away. The cashier who was still being kind said do you still want the items and I said yes I do. I said to him he could have helped and I asked for the front end managers name and he said it was Chris. He said there is another manager would you like his name I said absolutely. He called the manager who I believe was Paul Herrera came, I finished paying with my reciept in hand went over to another register. I told him my dilemma and he said we will take care of it. While he begin helping me Chris came closer and spoke loudly to me and said you know you can only use that coupon once. Number one, why was he even speaking to me? Since he didn't want to previously help me.And now the other store manager was helping me. I replied, I understand i'm making this purchase. And that's it, I had not been into the store previously. I felt that was very rude of him and inappropriate. How he interrupted us. Mister herrera was very kind and guided me through returning me the difference of the money I would have saved, had the app worked correctly. I will try it once again to see if it works on my next visit. He said it may have been a glitch since I just downloaded it. I would just like to praise this store manager for his kindness and the way he handled everything and put a customer at ease. I shop here frequently and I appreciated all the help he gave me on this visit. Now, for this front end manager, Chris, I think that he needs to be addressed of how he has an attitude and how he's addressing customers that faithfully come in, that keeps him employed. I can easily go shop at another market, there are others not far away. Hopefully from now on in the future, I will continue to have pleasant experiences. The store does seem to be well stocked. Plenty of employees that have always assisted me. And this would be the only time that i've had a bad experience from a employee that obviously has issues, sad to say he is any kind of management.

I walked in the store and security nearly escorted me out since I had a back pack. They took my bag and held it at the register. And made me shop without it. Then they moved my back pack without my permission . Unprofessional and sketchy. They need to get there policy's in order. If purses aren't an issue than back packs shouldn't be either!!! Will not be shopping here again. hope it turns into a grocery outlet or an any other superior grocery store.
