Pretty decent song selection - I was surprised at what we could find to sing! We even found the Numa Numa song (Dragostea din tea), hilariously enough. Every room is different in here. The room we were in had a little stage with a stand up mic, screens on different sides of the room so we could see the lyrics easier, and even a little mini foosball table that made it even more fun! This place is a scam! Today March 3, 2022, I found they still selling the coupon! So I guess they just want to lure you with the Groupon but have no intention to honor the Groupon. So if you are planning to use Groupon, you should be very careful not to fall into that trap. You should find some way to have them promise to honor the Groupon before you go there! I think Groupon should not allow them to sell Groupon there! And should avoid going there at all as such dishonor business should not exist! read more

My group had a blast at Pure Karaoke this past weekend! We had 12 people and were placed in the Dior/Chanel room. Made a reservation and came in around 8:15 PM on Saturday night. Price was $59 for the first hour and then $49/hr for additional hours. We got some drinks and the total at the end of the night was still really cheap. Averaged around $6/hr per person for 5 hours of karaoke! Out of the handful of karaoke places I've been to, Pure Karaoke has been one of the more enjoyable ones. Here's why: -Super affordable pricing when split among group. -Themed room was incredibly cute! I liked the disco ball lighting and the stage with a stand mic was awesome. Of course they also had tambourines and maracas. Seating was comfy and it was nice to have two TVs. Room felt well-ventilated too so it didn't feel stuffy while we karaoke-d hard! -Didn't feel like they overcharged much for food and drinks. You can even bring in your own food and drinks. Just no alcohol inside. -They have a lot of official MVs! It was great to sing along with the original singers, but you can also remove the singers' voices too with their options. -We only sang English songs, but they had a decent song selection. However, their search function is non-existent and is the worst I've encountered yet. We had to manually browse for singers and songs and they weren't even sorted alphabetically. Case in point, they had a section for Britney Spears in the Singers section, but when I tried to search for "Britney Spears", she doesn't show up! I also tried to type Korean, but it came out as Chinese... Overall, Pure Karaoke was a great experience. The major gripe I have is with their karaoke system's search function and the lack of alphabetical sorting. Otherwise, I would recommend Pure Karaoke for a fun night out! read more

I came here on a Saturday night with reservations for a birthday. Our party of 15 had the large room in the back. To start off, I am not the biggest fan of karaoke and this visit only confirmed my thoughts even more. With that said, I have been to some karaoke rooms that I actually enjoyed despite my dislike for the activity. First of all, the biggest downfall is the ban of alcohol. I have never been to a karaoke spot that did not serve nor allow alcohol. It's almost like bad singing and alcohol just go together. Please obtain your alcohol license. Secondly, the customer service was non-existent besides the manager barging into our room to yell at us for bringing in alcohol (which I actually didn't realize was not allowed, so our fault for that). If I had known, I would've just drove here instead of spending $60 for a roundtrip on Uber. With that said, the song selection was good. I did not care to sing too much, but glad the videos playing were actually the real music videos rather than some cheesy stock video of a girl running along the beach or something. Overall, if you're looking for a space to do some simple karaoke, then come here. Otherwise, I think grabbing a MagicMike at home could do the trick. read more

$40 an hour for three people. It was the only place in town open during these covid times. The only downfall is the song selections. They have great decor, surround sound and mic. There is an option to plug your phone, but that's just doing the most. To search for a song is even a lot more work. You cannot possibly do this intoxicated. They do not sell alcohol here, but they do have some food items. GET THE CHINESE SAUSAGES, you will not I repeat, you will not be disappointed. read more

This is one of my favorite karaoke spots that I've frequented on several occasions, mainly for the themed karaoke rooms. I've been in the Hello Kitty Room, Totoro Room, and the Minions Room. Each room is equipped with a stand up mic, ambient lighting, and comfy seating. They also give you extra microphones, tambourines, and maracas. Pure Karaoke has a decent song selection, but a few of the songs' lyrics aren't accurate or not in sync. The touch screen takes some getting used it. Rather than typing in the title, you type in the song title via initials. It would be nice if you could just type in the song title and it popped up. They have restrooms, but no water fountain, so I recommend bringing your own water. In order to attract more customers, I think it would be really help if Pure Karaoke created a website featuring each of the themed rooms and rates. Other rooms include the Lover's Room, the Parisian Room, the Greek Room, the Chanel Room, the Rock Room, the Chinese Classroom, the Super Mario Room, and the Doraemon Room. **Disclaimer: These may or may not be the actual names for these rooms. Please call to verify. Thank you to all the Yelpers who uploaded photos of the room, allowing me to officially name these rooms once and for all.** Despite it all, I've had a good time here and enjoyed the stand-up mic and the themed rooms. Came on a Friday night at 7 pm with friends. We had a reservation for a small room which fit 6 people. The rooms are themed and we got a Super Mario room which was fun. There are tambourines, maracas, and a disco ball to set the mood. There is a standing mic with a small stage along with two mics, which makes the party more fun! There's no alcohol but they have some drinks and snacks. There's a large selection of Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and English songs. The space is very clean and service was fast. Okay, I don't understand the appeal of karaoke places to begin with, so as an already skeptic I'm already disappointed. Also, why not just go to someone's house and sing for free and watch YouTube too? I went with a couple of friends on a Saturday night (7-8:30) and we got one of the medium sized rooms. I didn't realize it before, but they put us in one of the no-themed rooms, which was kind of disappointing. The only good part of the place was that it was actually pretty big and I'm very impressed by all the song choices they have, I mean they had like 10+ versions of Let it Go haha. Now for the cons. Okay first no theme. We were a group of broke high school students, and I guess they decided that they could take advantage of our naivety. They gave us a 15% service charge even though there was no service whatsoever. Does teaching us how to use the machine count as service, because we can definitely figure that out my ourselves. I understand that I signed an agreement for it but I thought it was only for if service was provided, and service meaning like make sure the guest is comfortable, which was not the case. When we wanted to calculate the total they gave us so much attitude. The guy started spitting out Chinese when I wanted to understand why we were paying over $100 for 1.5 hours of singing. His tone was rude. Would not recommend. Honestly go home and buy 2 microphones, its literally the same concept. Jeez. read more

Post paint-night with friends, around 1045pm, we had a calling for some karaoke. I thought I had read that this place was open until 5 in previous reviews, but a check of the phone and we realize they close at midnight. No worries, we will cram all the singing we can in an hour. I arrived and the girl at the desk reminded me they closed at midnight and lead me to the first small room. It was adorned with cute decorations! She went over the directions for using the touch screen which is similar to other karaoke joints except for the usage of acronyms instead. I waited for my other friends to arrive and input the first song. The screen got easier to handle as I got the hang of it. The song selection seemed pretty good as we tried to remember song names and artists. I was able to get a few Chinese songs in before my friends arrived and we busted the rap and hip hop mixed with some slow jams. I liked the little stage area, the 2 TV's, and the cleanliness of everything. We sang for what felt more than an hour...because at 12:30 the front desk girl knocked and let us know that it's after midnight. Since we were in the middle of John Legend's All of Me, we couldn't hear the rest of what she said. We went up to pay and it was $56 for an hour and a half in the small room. Decent when split amongst the four of us. I really appreciated that they let us stay longer as realistically one hour wasn't enough. :) Will frequent again the next time I get a karaoke hankering. read more

Not too bad of a spot for Kareoke but j haven't been to many so this review may be biased. The hot foods aren't that great --chewy, kind of stale, not really appetizing and pretty expensive. Alcohol is also not allowed here. The rooms are nicely decorated and there are nice little trinkets to play with and go crazy with when you're in that Kareoke dancing mood. Check Groupon before you go. Sometimes they have great discounts when you connect your credit card to the Groupon account. Also there is a discount if you're there for a birthday. I wish I could give a better assessment but the food really needs to be worked on. read more
