I've had such a wonderful experience with Han and Golden Jade Jewelry. I was taking the center stone from a pendant and wanted it set into a ring I bought. He was very informative of the process to get this done. He provided me a quote however was upfront and told me he had to see the pieces of jewelry to give me an accurate quote. I live in the west valley so it is quite a drive to get to his place and that's why I was inquiring 1st. I did visit his store and he was so friendly, professional and made you feel like a part of his family. He had to order a new head for the ring setting as the center stone was to big. The following week I followed up with him to make sure the product came in and he stated FedEx was a bit behind and even sent me screen shot of FedEx tracking # which he didn't have to do. I came back on a Thursday and finished my ring within 2 hours and it's truly stunning. I've received so many compliments on it and the workmanship was perfect. One of my Christmas gifts this year was a beautiful center stone to place into a new ring. After not knowing where to go, I began shopping around at a few big chain stores and a couple mom and pop places. My mom referred me over to Han and Golden Jade Jewelry, and no matter how many other quotes I got from other stores, he always was the best price and quality of work. When I finally got to sit down and look at the wonderful selection of settings he had, both in store and online, he was very warm and kind despite my indecisiveness and taking my time. I finally found a setting I liked but had to be resized by 2 sizes. Although I loved the setting, Han and his jeweler explained how risky it would be to resize and place my stone in there because of the design of the setting and prongs. He was very honest and made sure I was aware of the risks associated with that setting and refused to compromise the integrity of the setting for the sake of my stone. He told me he could speak to his jewelers in Hong Kong but couldn't give an estimated time since they were shut down from COVID. Han got my number and kept in touch informing me when he tried contacting them and status updates. A couple weeks later Han texted me because they received new inventory and saw a setting very similar to the one I had fallen in love with. He held it for me and waited until I could come take a look before putting it out. Sure enough, he knew me well and I had fallen in love with this setting even more. He was able to create my dream ring SAME DAY!!! And only took a couple hours to set the ring and resize my band to fit the larger band size on my ring. I was referred to Golden Jade and Mr. Han by a dear friend -- and holy smokes, this family of jewelers has been incredible to work with. I recently purchased a new setting for my original diamond engagement stone... and an anniversary band I've been waiting 10 years for! Han was patient, beyond helpful with information on stone quality, design options, lead time, pricing, etc. He smiled, was so friendly and just a delight to work with. One of the best parts about Golden Jade is their on-site staff who does pristine, quality work on most all of the jewelry pieces. I needed a repair on another wedding ring I had... and WAH-LA! Work done, repair fixed, new rodium plating and my beauty back as pretty as she began over 10 years ago! In less than a weeks time. I received a quote from another local jewelry store where it would take 4-6 weeks before my ring could be repaired... and a $400 price tag. That's one-fifth of the value of the ring... to tighten diamonds in the setting. I couldn't believe when I asked Han what their turnaround time was and an estimate on repair... how quick (I.e. high quality work) and how fair his pricing was. This isn't your average jewelry store. This is a family who deeply cares about the quality of work and craftsmanship that goes into every piece... and how satisfied their customers are by wearing these pieces that Golden Jade helps make dreams come true on! Two separate purchases more than 10 years ago and today, 4/22/17, I learn, in addition to be a crook, what a scam artist this jewelry store is! Let me explain. I had a man's wedding band with five channel set diamonds (1/2 carat TW) of VVSI quality and rated as near colorless, set in white gold. I brought it to this store to have the setting changed to platinum. When I returned to pick up my new ring I did not notice the stones were different until 10 days later when I went to get it appraised. That was when I learned the stones were not my original stones! The biggest give away was there were six stones, not five. Plus the stones we no longer rated as near colorless but rather noticeable color. The clarity of the stones were Inclusion. The appraiser told me that the clarity was a step up from coal! I returned to Golden Jade and demanded the return of my ring! The owner immediately went to her box of customers' rings and dug down to the bottom and got my ring (in a small zip lock bag) and brought it back to me. She said she liked my ring so much that she made another but must've accidentally gave me the wrong one! Bullshit! Because if she intended to sell the one she made it would have been in the showcase and not at the bottom of all her customers' orders. She was hoping I left it more than the required time to become mislaid property to legally claim it as hers! Second purchase: My mother wanted a wedding band with a high centers set stone in two carats. My mother had not bought a diamond ring in nearly 40 years and was surprised at the cost of diamonds. My mother settled on purchasing a Moissanite stone in the center in two carat size. My mother paid $2800 for the ring. My mother just recently gave me this ring because she is getting up in age and wanted to distribute her jewelry to her children. I went today, 4/22/17, to get an appraisal so that I would know the value of the ring. Much to my surprise it was only worth $100! Even if the appraisal today was inaccurate it is still far less than original purchase price. I asked the jewelry store where I got it appraised what this would have sold for in their store. I was told they would not have had a Moissanite ring in their store but if they did they would not have sold this ring for more than $400! The owner of Golden Jade took advantage of my mother and her lack of knowledge about Moissanite stones! She stole from an elderly woman. At the time of the purchase my mother was 75 years old. I can't believe this lady took advantage of my mother like that! Sure, I believe in the free enterprise system and I believe in making a fair profit but making more than $2000 profit on an imitation ring is unconscionable! If you still choose to do business with this jewelry store proceed with great caution! They pretend to care and talk a good talk but they are scammers and cheaters and stealers! read more
