Do not go here! They are a bait and switch. They advertise specific products and what they provide is different. Get ready to provide full medical history, to people that aren't doctors and are not required to abide by HIPAA. There's a reason that medical providers are required to follow HIPAA. It's Confusing to me, why they need all of your personal medical information, all of your medication, and all of this information for a simple facial. DONT GO HERE I yelped this spa originally for Botox - I got a touch up on some Botox I had from a few months ago somewhere else - It turned out fine - while I was there I got consulted on lip fillers. This would be my first time getting them done. I made another appointment and decided on juvederm Ulta Plus bc it was pushed to end the better one as well as Botox for my chin area. I'm 34. I don't need that much Botox. WELL come to find out 2 weeks later after swelling bruising and a bad Botox job I've had to go to my dermatologist to fix what's been done I've been told this sort of area for Botox was very difficult to do because it can can smile problems which is 100% did for me. Most doctors don't recommend getting this area done so I have freaking clue why this PA would even recommend it for me!! I have an off smile now which I'm so embarrassed about My lips are so swollen and still haven't recovered I have to get some of my lips diffused And I was told by my doctor bc JUV-ulta plus was used and it shouldn't have in lips it's not healing correctly. I'm super disappointed and hurt and super embarrassed by the way I look right now. Please please be careful with what you get done here! Don't get lips done here! read more

Very tiny, basic, boutique med clinic there in El Segundo Beach area, where the receptionist was overly too sweet from where I'm from and the nurse practitioner immediately gave me bizarre vibes like my type is "unfamiliar". Well, at least Long Beach was not too far away for my fantastic paella lunch at Cafe Sevilla. Hit or miss, unless you live in that specific area and of course Explored many options. This place is amazing the women who work here are super friendly and kind and informative. I don't know what is up with some of the other reviews I truly believe some people are just miserable and try to spread it wherever they go. Wow. Just wow. So I bought a Groupon for 20 units of Botox. Because I came here 4 1/2 years ago they would not honor it saying it is for new clients only. Having worked for Groupon awhile back most merchants have a one year clause. Also Groupons are a way in the door. They are a loss leader. I would have needed more which they could have sold me. But they chose to decline. Your loss. I've bought some from BH Med Spa which let me use one after a year. AND they sold me more Botox and voluma and got me to keep coming back. Thank you Groupon for the refund. I will never come here again. It's really hard to find good customer service anymore. I also notice they don't respond too much to reviews. I'm sure this place does great work but I'm deducting stars for the reservation process. To make a reservation you are required to verbally read all of your card information over the phone. This is so unnecessarily risky and antiquated. This is how you get your card info stolen and any cyber security professional would say anyone who does this is setting themselves up for fraud. There is no good excuse why a legit business can't send a link for you to securely provide billing/reservation information. read more

Hello, I just went in for some lip injections. Originally I had a couple of appointments at other locations including Boris in Culver City and I ended up choosing Pure Luxe. The treatment was great Dinah was awesome very friendly and professional she has the most gentle hands didn't hurt me at all. Anyways long sorry short at this time I cannot say that I love my lips just yet because they haven't settled in I just got them done on Saturday so they are still swollen but look nice. However I found pure luxe on Groupon for Juvederm $408 when I scheduled I was told not to purchase it since it was my first time to just screen shot and if I decided to get my lips done they would honor my Groupon. Once I am there she advised for me to get Juvederm ultra plus XC which cost $675 whatever I went with it even though I was going waaay over my budget, now I am reading a couple of reviews and it seems like it's a very common thing that they do at Pure luxe. I went on the website and read what the Juvederm ultra XC is used for and it's not used for what I wanted. Maybe I am a bit ignorant but this was my first time ever getting fillers I don't know much about. I am also reading that it can last 3-6 months In the reviews when I read everywhere they can last up to 12 months. Did i just hope I didn't get jipped. But so far my lips look good just waiting on the swelling to go down. One things for sure I wouldn't be able to afford $675 every 3 months! read more

I was told that I didn't need juvederm but could try Voluma for $660 (all the while Groupon has Voluma deals for Voluma for $400 flat), then separately purchase 40 units of Botox for $410 lol. I left & didn't get anything, while driving home I made an appointment for Botox & Juvederm at Allianve Health Choice. I was planning to spend $560 total, she was trying to get me to spend $1k which is nuts, I ended up spending $0 & will never come here again...The receptionist is super sweet, however. At Alliance Health Choice on Westwood Blvd they don't try to get over by squeezing you, they're sweet & give you the best price possible. Book there instead! read more

It was my first facial in years. I had a gift certificate which I was skeptical to use because I've never been here and what the gift certificate was for. Fire and Ice facial. I had no idea what to expect. Aurora the aesthetician was awesome ! So glad I used my gift certificate . She got all if not most of my blackheads and made my face look amazing. It was also very relaxing . After my facial she did recommend I use some of their products which were a bit expensive but hopefully it will make a difference. Purchased a Groupon for filler. Unfortunately they have a rule- no vaccines (including a flu shots) a month before or a after treatments. Also no dental work a month before or after treatment. I feel this should have been posted before I purchased the Groupon. I've never been told to wait a month after my flu shot to get a treatment of Botox or filler. I realize she prefers to be extra cautious. They have me a full refund via Groupon after attempting to set appointments and a big attitude from the receptionist multiple times. I purchased a Groupon for 20 units Botox and she refused to distribute it in my face as I wanted :( she insisted all 20 units must go into just one injection spot. That's too many units for one spot on my face. I know from experience. But it was too late to back out as I had already purchased the Groupon. First and last time I'll be here. I much prefer to work with someone who actually listens to and cares about what YOU want being injected into your face- not just trying to force as many units into my face as possible. I found this place online and made an appointment for Botox because of the good reviews... I'm convinced they're all fake. Anyone who has been treated with botox by a legitimate doctor, plastic surgeon or NP is pretty familiar with the amount of units used per area and even if not, it's all over the internet. So recommending that I'd need 30-40 units total for 2 small areas is downright insane. I'm 30 years old and have been getting Botox from a well-known plastic surgeon at the Cleveland Clinic for the past two years -- and I've always got 3 units on each side for crows feet and 10 units for my horizontal vertical lines (total of 16) and have always had great results. I've been to three doctors/NPs before settling on one, and I had NEVER been told I needed any more than 20-25 units total for those areas. This woman told me that I would need 20 units on EACH side and 40 units in my forehead and anything less "wouldn't work." I told her what I have been getting for the past two years which is always worked great for me but she said that I would get "zero results with such a low amount. I asked if I could try my normal amount anyway and come back if I need more and she refused. She said it was their company protocol to use at least 20 units per area. I asked again if this was for botox or dysport (which measures units differently), and she laughed and said it was indeed botox. She also said that 20 was the minimum for a Groupon, and I said I did not come in for a Groupon and was told on the phone that they charge $11/unit for new customers, which is the same as what I paid back in Cleveland. I decided not to get her recommended dosage and said I would just wait to see Dr. Seballos when I go home for the holidays. She asked where home was and I said Cleveland, and she literally shrieked "Ohhh! OHHH? Ohhhh!" then started cracking up, and looked me up and down and said "I'm sorry." This woman could not be more rude, unprofessional and dishonest. I can understand wanting to upswell, but recommending TEN times the amount of botox that I have been getting from a high-profile plastic surgeon tells me that they must be seriously diluting their product. Dr. Seballos told me before I moved that if anyone tells me I need any more than 20 units for my eyes and forehead combined, they're just trying to make more money off of me. I'm going to report them and hope someone looks into their scam. read more

I'm glad I came here other than the fact that it is conveniently located. I felt Dinah was very thorough and took good care of me during my treatment. I have yet to have anything but a great experience at this spa. I have received juvederm and a few facials. Pros: Clean and nice enviroment Friendly staff Always parking on the street and neighborhood. Even on weekends. Cons: If you ask for a supervising MD on staff while you're there, guaranteed there will not be one on site. Must be okay with that knowing you'll most likely only be able to speak to a Nurse or esthetician. When you call inside normal business answers NO ONE ever answers. I was also placed on hold and not gotten back to and hung up. I have also called on multiple occasions and I am sent to voicemail during business hours. Definitely need to hire front desk associate to answer phones and assist during normal operating hours (can be awkward checking/paying with staff who just treated you). read more

I'm not really much of a reviewer but I just want to say that I also bought the groupon for the juvederm xc and mine also went away in just 3 months or less. My previous injections lasted 9+ months with the same exact filler type. The doctor was very nice, I didnt have any issues with her bedside manner. I will say though that right after the injection I noticed a lump on the rim of my top lip as if the filler had gone out of my lip line. I asked if there was anything we could do and was told it's just from the needle and it will go away in a few days. The other injection sites didnt have this. It took me weeks to a month of massaging and putting pressure on that spot to get it to be less noticeable and it didnt fully dissipate until my filler completely dissolved. I do have very small/vascular lips to begin with so I'm not sure if this was her error or not but I did not have this issue last time. I'd normally chalk the longevity of the filler up to body chemistry or my putting pressure on it but since I waited to apply pressure and only did so on that spot and since others have had the same experience I figured I'd share mine as well. On a random side note that I'm not sure if it actually means anything, my previous dr. (also groupon, trying to avoid paying full price until I find the right one for me lol) showed me the package of the filler completely sealed before she injected. This dr. did not but I did peek at it and the heat seal looked wrinkled unlike the one I was shown at the previous dr. Again, no clue if this means anything but it was just different from what I'd experienced before. read more

I've been getting Botox for a few years and I always get 20 units and have excellent results. I just moved and found this place close to my new house. The owner/nurse insisted I needed more than 20 units and would only do the 20 units I purchased in the middle of the forehead instead of spreading it out like every other doctor I've been to knows to do. Now I look even worse than before and the wrinkles below and on top of the mid forehead are even more pronounced. Either she doesn't know how to do Botox right or she's going to upsell you by threatening to only do one area and leave your face looking worse. I do not recommend this place. read more

Finding a reputable, clean, and friendly medical spa without maxing your credit card in the South Bay is a challenge. Pure Luxe offered a great Groupon deal on a pricey Juvederm treatment that I really appreciated. Darryl was friendly, professional, and did exactly what I wanted without pushing me on any further services or products. Actually, I was so happy, I bought a lightly-suggested after-care lip product that I love for a reasonable price. I have only had my lips treated a few times and the last time at another spa it was horrendously painful. The numbing cream they use and Darryl's application of it allowed for no pain at all! I'm so sad to write this review but I just can't bare to let this experience go without recognition. I came here for the first time in 2018 hoping to find a closer botox injector. I was previously driving 1 hour to get my botox touch-ups. So I tried Dinah's office because of the good reviews on Yelp.. But my personal experience with botox the 1st time was that she injected too close to my brows and this made both my eyelids droop and my forehead felt extremely heavy. It looked like I had hooded eyelids.. I NEVER had this experience in the past, as I was freaking out I called the office and she told me to wait 2 weeks to make sure the "botox wasn't going to migrate anymore". So I came in 2 weeks and she definitely seen the hooded/droopy eyelids and said she could fix it.. I was scared to put more but she reassured me and I let her and it did help a little but it didn't improve the drooping eyelids but just lifted my eyebrow to compensate. Was better than the 1st result. Took about 2 months for the hooded eyelid look to wear off. My mom comes for holiday from a different country and she asked me for botox for her holiday gift. I agreed and told her about my experience but she was willing to try due to the proximity of the office to my home. And Dinah was aware of my experience and said it won't happen to my mom. My mom got botox and fillers in Nov 2018 and now January 2019 my mother face is still very swollen and her eyelids dropped even more, worst I've ever seen in my 10 years of getting botox. I swear my mothers eyebrows and eyelids drooped so low that it obscured her vision. The results made her look mad all the time, like she was frowning. She went in to see Dinah and Dinah herself felt REALLY bad and Dinah couldn't believe the reaction and droopiness of my mother's face. All my mom wanted was at least half a refund for the horrible results she received. Dinah refused and offered a $100 facial to comp for the disfigurement she caused on my mums face. My mom had to get prescription eye drops to help correct this eyelid droop but still not normal yet. It's was a nightmare my mother has faced and she can't wait for the botox to wear off because my mum's face is unrecognizable, swollen & drooping all in the wrong places. I felt horrible for even recommending this office since my first experience was mediocre but mine was fixable. My mums face looks horrible and all she can do is wait for this botox nightmare to ware off.. $550 paid to look like a drooping mess. Dinah I hope you read this because I pray you go to more training for injecting botox. I really pray nobody else goes through this. My face I could stomach but my mums results are truly botched. I feel horrible for writing this review but it's all FACTS. I don't know why my mother and I both got this reaction from you?? Could it be expired botox, faulty lot of botox you have stocked, too much botox, injected in wrong places and/or are you inexperienced with injecting botox, fillers etc... I pray you train more with people whom have more senior injectors and more experience than you.. Could it be you don't know face shape and botox injection sites? Just PLEASE get more training because this is NOT ok. I will say, I did get laser hair removal here and I had good experience & results and thankful my sessions are done because we will NEVER come back.
