Great selection of beers, plus ciders and seltzers. Really something for everyone. The beertenders are nice and helpful. We had the Red Rock Ridge and Tropical Mist. Both were really good. Highly recommend putting Pure Project on your list to check out.

I'll come down from LA just for Pure Project and I can't go down to San Diego without making a stop at one of their locations. That's how much I enjoy their beers. I've been going since they were limited to their Miramar location. Having been to all of their locations at this point they're all very beautiful. We end up visiting the Carlsbad location the most, as it's the most convenient location on our way up and down from LA. Perfect place to get some food around the area and have a drink before picking up a case to take home. They have a great and varied selection of beers for everyone. I'm a big IPA fan so I tend to lean towards their Diamond Dust as my favorite from their core line. Their specialty releases and collabs are always a hit. Their beers are all uniquely flavored, you can really taste the different elements to their offerings If it's your first time, their flight deals are a great way to try all of their selections. Feel free to ask the staff on recommendations as well. This location has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and very clean. It's the perfect place to grab a drink and take some to-go as well. Excellent vibes all around Definitely one of my favorite breweries!

I love Pure Project Carlsbad. It is always a vibe. Great people and beerkeeps. The service is great. They are always so friendly and positive. Walking distance to the beach. Their address is 2825 State St., Carlsbad, CA 92008. The E.T. Fonio Home was cold and refreshing. It's a Belgian-style witbier with lemon and orange blossom. It is 5.0% ABV. It's on the light side. I also had perezoso. It is a hard smoothie with mango and blueberry. I love Pure Project smoothie beer. They are so refreshing on a hot day. Check it out if you're in Carlsbad. They also have locations throughout San Diego.

I walked from my hotel and it was anlovely walk!. 5 tasters on the flight. Lots of bottle options and barrel aged variety as well. The service was kind and helpful. Just very fast paced! They are crowded on a rainy day and they expedite the line fast! So be ready and know what you want. I actually got out of line and went to the end so I had more time to think lol This place is crowded but cozy. Lots of people and if your introverted you may feel overwhelmed. I really enjoyed my flight and even took a few to go. I would come again but next time, I think I'll come in the daylight.When it's sunny, so there's a little more room to stretch out.

PPC is a real gem. It's a cool vibe room with indoor and open patio seating. The staff here are always exceedingly excellent. They all take pride in the beers and service. Been here a few times and it's always the same. The beers are world class and diverse. From light to hoppy to murkey to sours to stouts and barrel aged. You can't go wrong. This place is hopping on a Wednesday night in Carlsbad! I love their kombucha! I got a free sticker with Yelp check in, so that was exciting! I will definitely come back here and hang out next time I'm in the neighborhood like next week! It's very fun and everyone is extremely happy to be here! Maybe I should start drinking beer but they don't have anything gluten-free other than the kombucha but I love it nonetheless! read more

We do enjoy pure project so on our way home from LA we stopped by. This little area is super cute. We sat at the wood table top at the window where we were able to people watch. One of the train stop was here, wow cool. So convenient, don't need to drive and can just hop on and off the train. The beers are always solid. We got tasters as per usual and enjoy this place. Nothing more but great beers. read more

Although it looked like a really cool place to do so, I did not sit and have a beer at Pure Project. I just stopped in for a growler and some beer to go. The outdoor seating areas as well as the indoor look great. The patio is quite large and looks to be the perfect spot to enjoy a beautiful Carlsbad day and a cold craft beer. I walked to the host counter and the young woman working was super friendly. I placed an order for a growler fill. I had decided on the Pure West an unfiltered west coast IPA. She advised that it was more cost effective to buy the empty growler and get a 4-pack of 16oz. cans of beer. More beer for less money with a longer shelf life. Solid advice. So that is what I did. The growler is a great addition to my collection and the beer was really good. I'm looking forward to trying more Pure Project beers! read more

Pure Project has become one of my favorite breweries, they make a wide variety of beers including dark beers which i like. I had the Log Cabin with coffee which was a barrel aged imperial stout with maple syrup, cocoa and coffee. It was delicious! What stood out most was the whisky notes from being barrel aged and the beautiful viscous mouth feel to it. I've also tried the Tropical night fall an imperial stout with Banana, marshmallow and cacao. So smooth and like the Log Cabin nice velvety mouth feel. I didn't taste any banana, but maybe just a hint of cinnamon that you get from bananas. I was concerned that the Imperial stouts would be bitter and asked about the IBUs but the staff there was very knowledgable about the beer and said that yes it has the IBU's but theres so much flavor that I wouldn't notice it. And he was right! No bitterness at all, just packed with flavor. They are sort of sweet stouts like Peanut Butter stout that another brewer makes but less bitter and a more velvety texture. My friend who i came with got an IPA which he absolutely loved, he also has one of their high quality double walled stainless steel growlers. What stands out at Pure Project is they know how to infuse flavors into the beers. With most barrel aged beers i don't taste the whisky barrel type notes as much as i do here. Also i like that their beers have more texture to them, its much more enjoyable to drink. The location is beautiful, has a nice open feel and near the beach and just around the corner from Handel's ice cream which is a nice way to finish after a few beers. Staff here is very knowledgable about the beers and steered me toward an enjoyable experience. read more

It was an absolute amazing experience. We made it just in-time for last call, so I was able to enjoy it. Kristin was the Hostess that gave us all the information on the Yelp Experience. Remy was super knowledgeable about the history and the future endeavors of the business, which definitely captured my attention. It's always great to see one of the employees so knowledgeable in what they do and who they work for. I always think this is hard to come by. The atmosphere was amazing. After we got our flight we sat down and started to enjoy a nice evening. It was my first time here and when one of the employees Lauren noticed where we were sitting she offered to turn on that tiki torch looking thing to make sure I was warm. I would definitely go back to trybthe rest of the menu. Plus Lauren mentioned on Wednesdays and Saturdays they have a food truck with 5 burger options and hot dogs. Soo I gotta have the full experience one day. read more

Super friendly staff and great location. Oh and of course excellent beer. The staff was super knowledgeable and helpful. Harry, the person who helped us, explained throughly the flavors to make sure we can drink what we like. The location is great and beautiful outdoors (and indoors). We went when it wasn't super busy (3:30pm on a Monday) but we still enjoyed it! Definitely coming again. read more

We love coming here! We go to the flower store down the street, then get a bunch of flights here . Last time I got the pilsner, today I got the Belgium style, "sacred realm." There's room for the kids to come play. We usually bring activity bags for them. Then momma gets buzzed. Great customer service here, it's great. Highly recommend. read more

Established in 2020.

Originally founded in Costa Rica, Pure Project moved to San Diego and opened its doors in the heart of Miramar in early 2016. The Pure Project tasting room at Carlsbad opened in July 2020.

The sandwich was piled high with meat, melty cheese, and just the right crunch from the toasted bread. The wings were flavorful, sticky, and perfectly spicy. It's also dog-friendly, which we love, and there were lots of TVs playing the game, making it a great spot to chill, snack, and cheer. Everyone's super friendly and helpful. It just has a good vibe.

It has a bit of a sports bar atmosphere but it is not truly a sports bar (they have the t.v.'s on playing sports but it doesn't have the sports bar feel. We saw families and dogs and friends and couples - so it is a place for all people. I love that it has two big openings to the outside so it doesn't feel stuffy inside. Our server was very friendly and patient but could have been a bit more attentive once we got our food as we ran out of napkins and water and had to flag her down. I had the lamb burger special and it was truly to die for. If I hadn't worried about being too full I could have eaten another because it was so good. I think this should be a regular menu item. It was cooked perfectly and it was truly mouthwatering with all the toppings. Usually I hate buns but this bun was so soft and squishy and NOT dry that I gobbled it down. It came with a side and I was a little disappointed because it lists the sides on the menu and a side salad was one of them but when I got the bill it was extra for the side salad. When I asked she said there is an upcharge for the side salad (which was not noted on the menu). But the salad was great too so no problem! One friend had the pizza which I would not rate as an amazing pizza (I am an East Coaster so I am a pizza snob) but my friend loved it. They had some very cool toppings for their pizzas too. If you are going to go for a really good pizza I wouldn't go here. Come here for the other stuff on the menu. My other friend had the fish and chips and loved it. The portions were all very good sized. I am looking forward to returning - especially if I can get that lamb burger again.

The bun was fresh and paired well with a generous slider patty of 100% grass fed New Zealand Kobe Wagyu Beef and topped with cheddar jack cheese. You can really taste the quality and juiciness of the patty. The sliders are pretty filling and will leave you stuffed. I opted for the onion rings and I am glad I did as the batter was crispy and onions thick cut, very delicious. Service was great and attentive and I recommend any burger or slider fans to try the Kobe Beef Sliders, they are very tasty and worth the visit to Carlsbad Brewing Company.

Our original server, who I believe said her name was Noemi or Naomi, came across as overwhelmed, stressed, and like she didn't enjoy her job. While I understand restaurants get busy, her attitude made us feel like we were an inconvenience. She wasn't very attentive, especially to our kids, who had been at Legoland all day and were extremely hungry. She never came back to take their food order, and we found ourselves waiting longer and longer without any communication. Eventually, another server took over our table. She was incredibly kind, friendly, and apologetic. We explained that we had already been waiting a long time and just wanted to place our food order to go so we could get our hungry kids back to the hotel. She handled the situation professionally and did her best to help, which we truly appreciated. If you're dining with young children, I'd keep in mind that service may not be the best fit if your family needs an attentive server or timely service. Waiting extended periods without updates can be especially difficult for tired, hungry kids. It's disappointing because the restaurant itself seemed nice, and the hostess and second server were both wonderful. Unfortunately, the experience with our original server left a bad impression. While I understand busy nights happen, the lack of attentiveness and communication made for a frustrating experience, and because of that, I don't think we'll be returning.

This place is kid friendly and definitely dog friendly. In fact, there were probably more dogs than humans during our visit and I'm not complaining. Dogs are better than people, as we know. This was on a Friday night and the place was absolutely slammed, which was nice to see. No food available but you can bring in your own grub. Good luck with parking--either free street or residential parking are your only options. Excellent addition to Leucadia. This is a good spot.

My girlfriend and I recently discovered this amazing place, and we're already hooked! The moment we walked in, we felt the friendly vibes and loved the place's layout, with both indoor and outdoor seating areas perfect for a relaxing afternoon. But what really stole the show was their incredible beer selection - they had some of the best West Coast and hazy beers I've tried recently, and the Ode to OG was hands down one of my favorites! After trying a couple of flights, we grabbed a crowler and some cans. All the beers were fantastic, but we also enjoyed the atmosphere and the friendly bartenders. The staff was knowledgeable and gave great recommendations on food in the area, which was helpful since we were traveling. We were actually starting our trip in Oceanside, and the "spirit animal" bartender gave us an excellent recommendation for a local spot that was a highlight of our trip.
