The 24 oz size is $9.25 and a good enough size that I can get two servings out of it. I've tried several different smoothies. They have all been delicious but just a little on the thick and gritty side for me. The cold pressed juice selection can run quite low on selection but I truly enjoy the fat burner. I had to wait another few minutes for someone else to come back from the bathroom to give me my to go order. I mentioned that I had an banana allergy and the cashier noted it. I noticed that I was charged to substitute the fruit that was blended into the acai in place of the banana. I asked why and an employee in the background said, "bc banana is cheap". I felt that to be unprofessional and rude. My substitution is not because of preference so I shouldn't have been charged to substitute it out and I definitely shouldn't have had to deal w an insensitive comment from an employee lurking behind the scenes. Glad I did. I had the Traditional Açaí bowl, which is as fantastic as it sounds. The base is pretty much a frozen smoothie, which is very light and refreshing. I am normally in love with this place and drove 37 miles to get the Honey Bee Acai Bowl, but...this time I was pretty disappointed. I gave this place 5 stars for the many times I visited in 2019. I wanted to share the issues so hopefully they will make corrections and get back to the best acai bowls and service around. First, the bowl had many, many lumps of unblended acai ice. I have never experienced that over the many visits I have made here. Second, the service was extremely slow. Not sure why but it was not normal. I have loved Pure Raw since they opened up this location. I used to go to the one down in Federal Hill and now that I live in Canton I am closer. I was up in Towson running some errands so I decided to stop here on a Thursday evening around 630. It was quite busy and many people kept complaining that they were waiting 30 minutes to get there açai bowl. I had to ask A couple customers standing around me because I was not about to wait 30 minutes. One customer even went up to the counter and ask for a refund, and then somehow picked up an açai bowl at the pick up counter and stole it and left!!! When I went up to order, I asked the girl how long it would take and she told me 10 to 15 minutes. Well... I don't know if they were shortstaffed or what but we waited 25 minutes. Not a big deal. it's not the end of the world but what did turn me off and I will no longer be returning is the fact that multiple customers were entering the The facility with their mask off , below their chin or in their hand. Now it's a bunch of young kids running this place...so they are not going to enforce this law but what I think was the manager....an older taller male was in the back stocking the almond butter (he came out and told the cashier), he was in the shop and came out and saw the crowd of people and did not offer to help!! I was shocked. I was genuinely trying to listen for names and asking people so I could help them get their orders out. It was 25 minutes of a hot mess. Oh the açaí bowl .... AMAZING as always. I've never ordered a bad bowl from this place that's why i did give it stars. But right now, in the middle of a pandemic, businesses NEED to be on top of their cleanliness and following all RULES and enforcing their customers too as well. This is my favorite place to get an açaí bowl. It doesn't matter the season, I always crave their original bowl. The fruit is always fresh, and the base of the bowl is the perfect consistency. They also offer smoothies and healthy drinks. When I was getting sick, I had the "flu shot" once, which is a blend of natural ingredients. Although it tasted like straight grass and dirt, I did feel better the day after I took it. The flu shot isn't meant to taste good but meant to provide your body with nutrients to get better. My roommate did get a good laugh at me taking the shot though! If you're looking for something that tastes good and is light and refreshing, I would highly recommend the açaí bowls or a smoothie! This place is amazing. A small little place so it gets a little bit crowded. We tried both the açaí and pitaya bowls. Both were amazing. You can switch out the toppings if you don't like something that comes on it. I had açaí with kiwi, mango, and coconut (the Hawaiian I believe) which is my personal favorite. The bowls are a huge portion and about $10. You definitely get a ton for your money. They also have pressed juices which I've heard are popular. It has a cute little aesthetic.
