This was my 2nd time getting my brows threaded and first visit at this salon. I had previously gone to Shiburi which is a lot closer to me, but I think Gita here provided better service and made my longer drive worth it. 1. She offered hand sanitizer to me and also put some on herself at the beginning of the visit. I appreciate that cleanliness factor! 2. She is very attentive! As the game plan is discussed, she asks for your opinion and what your current brow routine is before she proceeds. 3. I requested she remove all the baby hairs/peach fuzz underneath my brows. My last brow artist didn't do a great job and I had to tweeze them at home. It's hard to spot them since I have very fine Asian hair, but Gita did an excellent and thorough job cleaning that area. She also uses different threads, some sharper than others which I found interesting. I appreciate her taking the time to measure and mark my brows to ensure good symmetry. 4. I have never been the one to add on services (especially when people try to upsell...), but I had such a pleasant experience and my brow area was so smooth that I requested my lips to be done if there was enough time before her next client. She immediately threaded that area for me. A little painful, though not her fault because I've never had threading done on my upper lip before. Gita never once tried to push for additional services and she is very kind. 5. Wonderful pricing and fantastic service, it makes sense that no other business has made me want to request more services beyond what I originally intended except for Gita here. read more

The employee did a good job but I ended up waiting over a hour to get my eyebrows threaded. I came in and she was working on someone else, I was told I'd be next. In between that a customer who was late to their appointment came in and got to go before me. They had a sign that said $10 for eyebrows and right before paying they said they raised the prices to $12, not a big deal but with the long wait, I wouldn't go back. read more

I had one of the best experiences here the other day. Scheduled a appointment same day for a 2:30 eyebrow threading the receptionist was very prompt in advising me that she did not know when Gita would be getting in for the day but would have her give me a call as soon as she was. About a hour later Gita called and scheduled me in right at the time that was most convenient for me. This was my first time threading, and boy was I nervous! But right when I sat down Gita made me feel 100% comfortable. Before she even begins the process she sits there with a mirror and discusses with you what YOU would like done with your eye brows and what she thinks would look the best with your face shape. She then began, and yes threading does hurt. I knew that from the very beginning but after seeing the aftermath of what waxing does to your eye brows after years of it, I decided to change my methods. Gita took plenty of breaks in-between threading allowing for me to breath, she was very sweet and gentle in allowing for me to be completely comfortable and content during the entire process. I know am a loyal customer of threading and I wont be going to anyone but Gita. Gita has been threading for over 20 years, and after talking with her I found out they just open their doors about 5 months ago to start her own salon. I stopped here as a last resort because i was in the area and it had great reviews. It was about 25min wait because I requested Gita, which was fine. I liked the way she explained the shaping of my brows and what would work best. I had my upper lip done as well, but after I got home, I saw she had missed half the hair! Geeze!! The next day I had called back to the salon because I couldn't find my wallet and I wondered if I had left it there. The older lady answered the phone and did not speak English...argh!! The only thing she knew how to say was "want appointment?" I kept re-explaining myself slowly and patiently. She hung up on me! I called back and got their voicemail. I would not recommend the new older woman because she threaded way too much off my one eyebrow and now they are horrible. I generally don't have a specific person I go to since all the women here are very good, but again today was not a good day. I had no where to go..I was nervous because I've grown to trust that place and I didn't want just anyone doing my eyebrows..it's taken a long time to get them where they are after them being uneven from waxing from my younger days. I used to really enjoy coming here, Gita does an amazing job on my eyebrows. They have a new lady who always makes my eyebrows look weird, and the last four times I been forced to have her do it. It is one of the more expensive places to have your eyebrows threaded and I dont mind paying that amount if Gita does it but I dont feel the other lady does a good job and its not worth my money. Although the other lady is very nice Im just not happy with the way she does the threading. I also bring my kids here frequently for haircuts but I am not going to return here. The last time I brought my daughter for a haircut the lady didnt cut her hair like I requested. She doesnt understand english and just did whatever and my daughters hair looks funny now and was too short to correct. I was told today that my only option was to have the other lady do my eyebrows and Gita could not because she had a upcoming appointment which was still thirty minutes away. Im done with this place. This place horrible! Mary threaded my left eyebrow noticeably thinner than my right eyebrow. When I told her she did, she told me they looked fine and I can grow them out if I didn't like them. Came here after needing my eyebrows done ASAP it's near work and I saw the great reviews. I requested Gita as advised by other users and she did not disappoint! I had to wait for two customers even though others could've done it I wanted to assure I got the best. Gita asked what I wanted from my eyebrows, advised what would work best, and allowed me to check my eyebrows every step of the way. I do have some gaps in my eyebrows and she shaped them as best as possible and even showed me how to draw in my eyebrows so that I got the fuller look.
