HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE got my eyebrows done and my nostrils Wax the lady burnt my nostrils I've been waxing my nostrils for many years this lady did it differently it might of been her first time. I woke up the next day with so much pain and a super red nose. It was my first time trying this place out on top of getting my nostrils burnt they ruined mine and my daughter's brows definitely won't be coming here again. The lady also asked my daughter to leave her a good review on Yelp and Instagram super unprofessional. The ladies there aren't friendly at all it was just in all bad experience. I came in at 1040 and there was already a customer getting threaded. 10mins passed, she was still getting threaded so I was getting inpatient due to I had to attend a party at 12. So I asked the lady how long for the wait and she said the other worker should be coming in in an hour and the customer is getting a full face threading so maybe another 20mins. If she had told me she was doing that I wouldn't have waited. I would've left and came back but since I already wasted 10mins waiting, I just left. Should've been nice if she told me the customer was getting a full face threading and the wait might be a little longer, I could've left right there and then and went somewhere else instead of just letting me sit there waiting. read more

Went to get my upper lid threaded. Waited about 30min. People started to leave as the wait was getting a little too long to get serviced and there was only 2 girls working. One of the girls that was was threading was trying to convince people to stay but I assume they waited long enough. After several people left, it was only me and another girl left. I eventually I got the service done. They told me it was 5 dollars. I take my debit card out to pay. I was asked if I wanted to add more to the card for tip. I told them to add 2 more dollars. I was then told they couldn't charge the card for anything less than 10 dollars and would need to pay cash. I told them there is no sign that says there is a minimum charge of 10 dollars in order to use a debit card (or any credit card) and I didn't have any cash on me. I told them the sign said you accept cards. They proceeded to apologize and said there is nothing they can do. I had no choice but to pay the 10 as I had no cash. It's upsetting the fact that I had come here thinking I can use my card for a service and turns out there had to be a minimum amount spent in order to use it. There was there was no sign to indicate what I was being told. I was basically charged double for the service. Not sure if maybe the girl was upset because people were leaving and she lost out on business ? Maybe she happened to take it out on me? Whatever the reasoning was, that was not good. I love this place I have known this place for years and know the first Employee or owner that started there and trained all her new girls. I had to go somewhere else because I'm closer to Brea but OMG I HAVE to keep coming back because I'm always in love with the outcome. Even if it's out of the way I always love how they do them this time Julie did them. She did an amazing job at listening and taking her time. I loved how clean it was and how she gave me hand sanitizer at the beginning and end. I needed someone last minute after work and she was kind enough to wait for me. Seriously LIFE SAVER I'm very picky and critical about them because I hate a thin brow and she knew and did an amazing job at not doing that at all for me. If you tell her what you want she'll do it and make sure you are happy. Very satisfied and will definitely keep coming back from now. This place is okay! I came here because I've been trying to expand the threading places I go to, and the reviews were good. It seems like this place has lots of regulars because it was packed when I got there, and it seemed like the ladies working there knew all of their clients, which was sweet to see. I ended up getting my brows and upper lip done, for some reason it hurt really bad and my eyebrows were well cleaned up but came out way too thin for my liking. I do get my brow/lip threaded pretty frequently and it never hurts that bad so I'm not sure what happened. I will now be waiting for my brows to grow back before I return to my last threading place, where they left my brows thick like I like them. I would not return here, but try it out if you would like! You may have better luck than me! read more

This was my first time getting my face waxed here before since I always come for threading on my eyebrows. I decided to get a full face wax plus eyebrow threading and lady was too aggressive with the pulling and with my face overall. She also put a towel on my face and aggressively massaged my face up to my hairline area like why is that necessary..? Then missed a couple of spots on my face as well which left me very disappointed, since I came to get all of the hair removed from my face. I should've taken my change back instead since the tip wasn't deserved. By the time I left my upper lip was burning from how AGGRESSIVE she pulled the wax in that area. read more

She was very kind and kept a conversation going to assist with distracting me from the pain. She's also very gentle in comparison to other places I have been. This place is totally awesome and the prices are great. The first time I went there Manita did my eyebrows, and she shaped them really well. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because the last time I went there some other lady did them and she took off a bit too much on my left brow, so make sure to ask for Manita when you get there. Oh and I think that it's totally cool that they offer henna tattoos, nose and ear piercings, waxing and all this other stuff at pretty reasonable prices. I'm definitely gonna be regular. Edit: it's been over a year now, and my left eyebrow has never been the same since that other woman threaded them. The hair that she had threaded off never grew back.
