First time to order from here and most likely my last. First off, it's not about the food which was perfectly fine. The taco salad was good even though they were out of ground beef @ 11;00am lunch time on a Tuesday?? Get a better supply manager because that should be a staple if it's on the menu. It was the complete disinterested and inattentive guy at the register. Literally had to repeat the simple order of a taco salad and a water 3 times. Then we stood there waiting on our order and watched it sit on the kitchen window while he was on his phone scrolling and texting. We were the only ones at his spot and he was completely disconnected. Then asking for the food and I asked for the water which he then said it's in the counter fridge in front of me. I said there wasn't any and he said "are you sure?" There wasn't any, like 18 bottles of soda and no water. He came around the counter and took a look and then said oh yea we are out. Pick a soda, it's the same price. At that point, I just wanted to be done with the place. Was grabbing a drink at the bar in Politan row and decided to grab a bite to eat. Opted for the oxtail tacos. It was delicious! Full of flavor and while they appeared small in size they were really filling. My first time having oxtail tacos but it will not be my last. We used to come to Politan Row just for these tacos. Now, the whole menu has changed. When I asked what's on the vegan tacos, I was told it's only cilantro and onion. But for the price, that can't be right. If it is, then that's really unfortunate. Ordered the chicken birria tacos which were dry and minimally filled. Flavor wasn't great, but the corn tortillas did hold together at least. Didn't realize it came with rice and beans. Rice was lukewarm, which was weird for the wait time, it should've been hotter. Wonder if we could've gotten double rice instead because we don't eat beans. Anyways, the employee was on his second day of working so wasn't very knowledgeable, which wouldn't typically bother me, but it took away from the experience on top of the changed menu and prices. I'm not the biggest fan when it comes tacos, but I do love oxtail tacos, and pretty little tacos fell short. Though the oxtail itself was tender the flavors were underwhelming. Pretty little tacos prides themselves on being Creole-Mexican street tacos. Mexican yes, loaded with onions, cilantro and lime. The Smoky,earthy,herb and spicy Creole seasonings was not present whatsoever. The price point for two small tacos at $17 well $20 with tip included is absolutely absurd. I came on a Monday around 5 PM and there were two girls working and neither one of them acknowledged my presence, neither one of them asked me what I wanted. They both had attitude problems and were making no effort to serve me, the customer. I walked away, and two people that were waiting on their tacos, came over to me and also said that the service was horrible, but they really wanted the tacos so they gave this business money. I refuse to support businesses that don't even have the capacity to tell a customer. "Hello I will be right there with you in a second." I did not dine here. The bowl of ramen was medium sized and had a good amount of meat. The noddles itself were not terrible, but could have been crunchier and more chewy. The birria meat was great and would be great in a taco as well, a bit salty, but that's how it is supposed to be. HANDS DOWN THE BEST OXTAIL TACO I'VE EVER HAD. I'm drooling while writing this. It was hot and super fresh. Now we did wait for about an hour for them but it was well worth the wait. Such a great spot to check out when you're in the area! While waiting for a movie at the local iPic, my bf and I made our way to the food court with our family friends. We started there with some amazing drinks, but of course, I was hungry as usual. So after checking around the court and its delicious varieties, I decided to go with Pretty Little Taco. I'm terribly indecisive so lucky for me, the young lady at the counter was patient and kind enough to give me her recommendation of chicken nachos, so I went with it. I was given a buzzer and sent on my way to continue enjoying my cocktail at the food court. Just about ten minutes later, my buzzer went off and the nachos were all mine. The place over all was decent my steak taco was really good which is why they received a 2 the chicken taco was dry and lacked seasoning . We also had street corn the corn was so nasty we didn't eat it! The corn was definitely canned corn it was sweet and super salty wasn't nothing street about it. I stopped by Colony Square on my lunch break earlier this week as I had an errand to run in this area. I've been to the food court here at Politan Row quite a few times before, but I never had Pretty Little Taco. I decided to grab some lunch from here and take it to-go. They had a special going for two tacos (either beef or chicken), and chips and queso or chips and pico. I opted for the chicken with queso as I don't eat beef. The total was about $16, which in my opinion, is quite pricey for this meal. The special also came with some Consommé, which is a common thing for birria tacos. These tacos weren't your average corn/flour tortilla tacos. They were much better than that. They tasted really good and were extremely flavorful. I didn't eat the Consommé as it tends to be beef whenever you get it from anywhere. I should've asked when I got my food, but I didn't even open the food until I got back to work. The chips and queso were good too. The chips were seasoned nicely and the queso was nice and creamy too. The only downside of this place is that it's quite expensive. I was still hungry after my meal, and I had paid nearly $20. The tacos were good, but I definitely probably needed one more to fill me up. I would still come back though. There are plenty of places to sit inside the food hall as well. I did take my lunch to-go, but there is plenty of inside and outside seating. There is a parking garage attached to Colony Square too. So if you bring your ticket with you, you can get it validated (up to 2 hours) at the hostess stand inside the food hall. read more
