His long experience took into consideration a lot of the things that we found with wood and not matching supporting structures. He completely renovated two bathrooms and partially renovated my kitchen. Bathroom seem larger completely functional and absolutely beautiful. Well the quality of the work is very good one of the other things is that every day that he said he would be here he came at the time he said he would come. Professional reliability is extremely important. Every time we found something unusual it was discussed decisions were made as a team with his input as well as mine. Watching him transform these deteriorating bathrooms allowed me to develop a trust in his judgment. We started working on the kitchen and when the paintings all finished I'll post those pictures as well. Because of his many years of experience there weren't any real big overrun surprises when we even when we found some rotted wood etc. Price wise he's a very competitive especially considering the quality and level of experience that he brings to all that he does.

The company managed insurance communications and often excluded us from approvals, denials, or documentation regarding what work was completed. After installation, the shingles were uneven and did not lay flat. When we raised concerns, they were largely ignored. No final walkthrough or inspection was conducted, and we were not provided itemized invoices or clear documentation. An independent inspection confirmed multiple defects, including improperly installed components requiring further repairs. Repairs attempted by Fossil Ridge were unclear, unsupervised, and undocumented. Payment was repeatedly requested despite unresolved issues. We had to hire another contractor to correct these defects. Based on our experience, future customers should be extremely cautious, manage insurance claims directly, request thorough documentation, and ensure inspections and walkthroughs are completed before making final payments. His pricing, according to him, was mostly based on the time it would take to get to the job site, the gasoline burned and the wear and tear on his vehicle, having to stop along the way to purchase the necessary materials to do the job, and him deciding that I was an hour away based on my zip code. Actually, I live in Sherman not Tom Bean, about 15 minutes away, based on the location that was given for his business. And, I already had the necessary materials. If only he had actually made some inquiries about the job and my specific location before quoting me such an absurd amount.
