Awesome coffee shop in Brickell, with great low acid coffees. They're known for their bourbon pecan beans which has suuuch a unique and nutty flavor. Highly recommend trying it out along with any of their other rotating flavors. Breakfast foods are also solid. I've had the avocado toast about 100 times while studying here. The pound cakes from L'Atelier are also a great treat to go along with a hot coffee. Also random but they have one of the best freshly squeezed Orange juices, a little expensive for OJ but worth it. This is a great spot to come and study or get work done, as they have lots of different sized tables with outlets nearby to most. Loved this spot you walk in to a rustic little coffee shop that has super amazing golden latte and I can only comment on the avocado toast and that lol but wow both were great they made my latte with almond milk by request and the avocado toast had the most perfectly cooked poached egg on top ( and I had it two days in a row ) so whoever is doing the egg poaching ... BRAVO to you !!! I can never get a good one ! The bread that it was on was also really great a chia Pt crust and a soft toasted center we walked about 10-15 min in the am to get here based on reviews and it was so good we went back a second day !!!! They have two small tables outside and a few tables inside so if you are in the area get the avo toast and a golden latte I added a shot of espresso just for the extra boost !! Nice and cozy coffee shop with seating inside and outside. I have ordered the Rustic Avo Toast here which is good and very similar to most avocado toasts. I mainly come for the bourbon pecan coffee and I get it without sugar or milk and I have to say it's so delicious. It almost seems like they put in some small amount of pecan syrup but apparently they don't. Goodness, the coffee (in my opinion) is great and so flavorful. I bought the coffee beans (the staff grounded the beans) to try to make it at home but I couldn't get the intense flavor so I'm sticking to just buying it at the coffee shop. This place is a great study spot IF you can focus with background music, mild chatter and baristas cutting vegetables. i was able to get a work done for the most part- if you put your headphones in it masks the noises somewhat. Everyone in the coffee shop is also working for the most part so it's definitely a study/work environment for the most part. There are the occasional super chatty cathys just fair warning. However, the food and coffee is just ok. I got the matcha tea latte and it wasn't very strong in flavor and looked a bit watered down. I also got the rustic avo toast which was a little bland. The bread however is from Zak the baker and made up for the lack of flavored toppings. There are outlets by some of the walls. WiFi is free but is a little slow if you are streaming lectures. Overall a good place for leisure studying/ work. Don't go here thinking it's like a library. read more

Enjoyed a quick breakfast and coffee while visiting Brickell City Centre. The line moved quickly and our toast only took a few minutes to arrive. The Zac the Baker toast served as a perfect plate for the fresh avocado, arugula, tomato, and egg. The traditional version of the toast comes with a poached egg but they easily accommodated a request for a scramble. The Greca coffee was a Yelp check-in freebie! Very tasty! read more

Cozy place with delicious coffee across from the new brickell centre (mall). On my first visit, I had a regular coffee and a turkey and swiss croissant. Both were very good. I was also impressed with the beautiful presentation. On my second visit, I noticed prices were a bit higher. However, coffee is still delicious. The greca coffee is my favorite and the presentation is very cute. I absolutely love their almond croissant. It is truly delicious and sweet so it pairs very well with the bold coffee (greca). The croissant is flaky on the outside and sweet and warm on the inside because it actually has almond paste inside. Delicious!!!! I also order the avocado toast but it was unimpressive. It lacked flavor and it didn't have much avocado at all. I believe is a bit expensive for what you get. Even though the egg was cooked well, I just didn't get the flavors. Overall cozy little place with chill ambiance and delicious coffee to unwind after shopping at Brickell City Centre. read more

I was staying at the W for a work trip and wanted healthier breakfasts outside of the usual Cuban toast and empanadas (which are delicious, but again trying to be healthy). This place is located right next to the Brickell mall. I came bright and early right when they opened at 7am. Ordered thier bourbon coffee blend and a breakfast sandwich. So happy to have another coffeeshop added to the Brickell scene! Located next to River Oyster Bar and the former Tobacco Road (RIP), Puroast is a nice addition to the area. Parking can be found around back. The first time I went, it was free for an hour but I had to pay a few bucks last time. A little confusing and seems poorly run. There's street parking nearby but it can all be a little hectic with the surrounding construction. If you can walk, that's probably ideal! Once you walk in, you find a cute coffee haven that transports you to the rainforests of Latin America. Both times I've visited, I've opted for a macchiato and the quality of the coffee is very good. There is a variety of seating all around, making it a good spot to hunker down to work or take meetings. I haven't tried any of the food yet but definitely intrigued by the menu! The staff is friendly but have been a little slow and unresponsive when trying to order. I'm sure it'll grow into itself and become a hotspot in this area that will continue to evolve as all the pesky construction finishes up! read more

Stopped into Puroast Coffee on a gorgeous Sunday morning. I ordered a Vanilla Latte to drink and snacked on The B.E.A.C.. Quality Needing a caffeine boost on Sunday morning, stopped into Puroast Coffee. I am not a big coffee drinker, but every once in a while it makes for a good treat. I decided to order a Vanilla Latte, which was excellent. It had a good level of sweetness and gave off a wonderful warm vanilla scent. To eat I ordered The B.E.A.C., an everything bagel with bacon, egg, avocado, and cheese. The best part of the sandwich was the bagel itself. I did not really enjoy the egg on the sandwich, which I felt was too close to the fake eggs you get at fast food restaurants. I also was not the biggest fan of the cheese used. Luckily a good deal of tasty avocado made up for the faults. It was something I would be unlikely to order again, as I probably would stick to the pastry and bread items. Quantity I thought both my drink and my sandwich were the perfect size for breakfast. The Latte did not have me buzzing and while the sandwich was filling I did not feel sick from eating too much too early in the day. Value A Vanilla Latte was about $4 and my sandwich came in at $8. Both were a bit pricey, but I have come to expect that at little gourmet coffee shops. I would say the drink is worth it, but it is harder to justify the sandwich. Ambiance Puroast Coffee is located in Brickell just steps from the newly constructed Brickell City Centre mall. The shop is hidden by the larger buildings that dominate the area, but it still draws a crowd. The cafe is a good size with enough chairs for around twenty or so people. They have arranged for larger nooks in the corners, creating a sense of privacy, while small tables are scattered in the center of the space. The cafe is decorated very simply, with the majority of things on display being different coffee products for sale. They do not have any outdoor seating, but the proximity to the road would make such a space very undesirable. In the background they were playing Christmas music, which combined with the warm smell of coffee, has the power to make you forget you are in Miami for a minute. Crowd It was a full house on Sunday morning with nearly every table in the shop taken. Many people were dressed in gym and yoga gear, grabbing a coffee and healthy snack post-workout. It was a younger crowd, many of whom appeared to be locals to Brickell. The less than convenient location would make it far more accessible to those living in nearby high-rises than others. Service This is not a place that you should expect to dart in and out of. The staff was very laid back and as such the orders were slow to come out. I ended up nearly finishing my food before even receiving my drink. It is fine if you have no place to be on Sunday morning, but I have concerns about rushing in to grab a coffee on the way to work. Parking There are about five street spots located directly in front of the cafe. Around the corner is a lot that charges a flat rate of $10. I would recommend taking advantage of the current free parking at Brickell City Centre if you plan to stop into the shop. Extra Puroast Coffee is a very nice cafe to relax and grab a drink and snack. I really enjoyed my drink, and while my food was not perfect it was still solid to munch on. On the downside, they are not in the easiest spot to visit for non-Brickell residents and the service is a bit slow. I would say it is a place to visit only if you are already in the area. read more

This cute breakfast/brunch shop near Brickell City Center has a small but decent food menu. I ordered the Avocado Toast, which comes with a poached egg, Serrano ham, sliced avocado, and arugula on toasted sourdough bread. It tasted pretty good, but the egg was definitely not poached. In fact, I'd even go as far to say it was fully cooked because the yolk was dry, which was super disappointing! I also ordered the Flat White espresso to compliment my Toast. It was decent. This coffee shop seemed like a good place for studying. There were plenty of people there with books. There's also armchair seating. Parking: There is limited street parking in front of the restaurant. If you're unable to nab a seat there, you could try to park in Brickell City Center next door. read more

This place is home away from home. This cafe has become my go to spot for studying and some good coffee. My typical order is the Greca but I get the bourbon pecan flavor and it's YUM! I also love their avocado toast. Besides the coffee and food, the cafe offers something unique in this busy brickell city complex. It's a quiet hidden gem to go to during the day to get some work done without any distractions from the city.
